We found this location to be a close and easy place to stop in as we drove on I-95. I like the reliability of the Starbucks brand when I travel and need to make a quick stop. The newer building boasts a drive-thru, outdoor seating, indoor spaces to relax, solid service, and the standard Starbucks food and drink. We kept our visit short, but I enjoyed a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew for a few minutes and then headed back to I-95. read more

Starbucks - Menu - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, South Carolina

Went in at 7:15 with two friends. Asked if dining room was open bc all the chairs were put on tables already. They said yes. We placed coffee order and sat in dining room in the cushioned chairs. Employees constantly turned music up to where we had to talk louder to hear over it. If they had to close early due to employee staffing issues or something that could have been said up front. I appreciate honesty more than rudeness. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. In one phrase - massively disorganized. Super slow service with clerks who have no idea about the menu they carry. Dirty and forlorn looking read more

When people say this is the dirtiest and most unfriendly Starbucks, believe them. The women's restroom was closed. The men's bathroom had feces spilling out of the toilet surrounded by a mountain of toilet paper. The worker in charge who I assume is the manager was very angry. Not friendly, made me repeat my order several times because she wasn't paying attention. Also the picture I uploaded doesn't do it justice, there was syrup spilled everywhere and liquids oozing off the counter... read more

Starbucks - This was just filthy. The bathrooms were worse.... - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, South Carolina

This location is super spacious, might have the largest seating area I've ever witnessed in a Starbucks. The staff were very polite and professional and pleasant and patient, hence the reason they get a 4 star review from me. read more

You know what bothers me most is how this guy is there putting stickers on a take out order while there are a line of people waiting for some service. Every one of them acts like they are busy (there were 4 people working there and not one came over to say "I'll be right with you" or "Give me a moment. Wrong order all around and extremely long wait. We waited 20 minutes to get the wrong order which further delayed our wait. We ordered a venti ice shaken espresso with light ice and a venti cafe mocha with coconut milk. What we got was an Ice Shaken Brown Sugar with oat milk and half ice and a grande cafe mocha. This is the worst Starbucks location. read more

Your typical Starbucks, rude employees. Disappointed because I experienced it here at this location. The cashier that assisted us today was the one wearing a blue shirt and just seemed to hate her life or working for that matter. When I asked a question related to the coffee I was getting she just stared at me like I was dumb for asking a question, her expression that she gave me was like "are you serious" and/or "are you dumb" look. I really don't like when I'm traveling through a state where the people are rude especially when you're on vacation. I hope the customer service gets better in this location. On the other hand, things were fine for the most part but the horrible experience over powered everything else. read more

Ordered ahead via Starbucks app. 2 drinks and 2 food items - both were ready when we got there. Employees were quick to give us our order when walking in and standing by the mobile order area. Drinks were made to perfection and pastries were delicious too! Lots of parking and indoor and outdoor seating On the app it says drive thru only but the inside is now open and very clean! We ran in to get our order and use the bathroom - both common area and restrooms were clean. read more

We Love the Starbucks right off I95 in Santee, SC, It's a "must stop" on our drive South!! The interior is clean and open, the staff is efficient and friendly!!' They have a drive thru... but we choose to park so we can walk the dog, Of course.. the coffee is perfect!! read more

The positive was the food and drink were ready quickly. The negative comments are the facility was filthy and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in at least a couple of days especially the outside seating. One would expect better from a Star Bucks franchise. read more

It was January 6, 2020 and our second stop at this particular store. So how many times have you found yourself on I-95 looking for a nice place to stop and get a good meal, use a clean restroom and stretch your legs? Well, going both northbound and southbound over the course of a week, we found ourselves at this "oasis" both directions. The service is outstanding, the employees are extremely prompt and helpful, and this is the place to be! I have been to dozens, if not hundreds, of Starbucks locations over the past 20 years. This location is the one I wish I could plant in my backyard and visit every morning. If you find yourself on I-95 and are looking for a great (not good....great) place to stop, this is the place. You have my word that your coffee and food will be hot and quick, and the facility will clean and comfortable. I wrote to Starbucks corporate about this store. It's just that good!! read more

Bathroom was filthy, as was the area where you add cream and sugar to your coffee. Service was extremely slow. Would have been nice to at least been told that they would be with us shortly when we were standing at the counter. read more

This location sometimes does not show up on searches. It's directly off the exit and next to a little gas station / country type store to buy local items as well as an antique store. Wait to stop at this Starbucks as it's in a cuter location than stopping at an exit filled with random corporate chains. Friendly staff but then again you're in the south so that's a welcome change for those from elsewhere. read more

As a female who travels I-95 for work and to visit family, I'm grateful for this Starbucks. It's a safe place to stop for a coffee or bathroom break in the small town of Santee. The menu is typical Starbucks fare, so you know what you're getting. You can pay and earn rewards with the app. Since we're traveling in the time of 'rona, indoor dining is closed, but you can go inside to place your order or go to the bathroom. I'm surprised at the low reviews. This Starbucks is new and the only one in this area, so be patient and give the employees some grace. The other option is to wait another hour until you reach Florence for your fix, as this area lacks other coffee shops. If you're traveling northbound, Starbucks is on the right as soon as you exit the interstate. I'll happily stop here instead of a truck stop, rest stop, or sketchy gas station. read more

Great location If you're just passing through as we were. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and it was made to perfection! With how expensive it's gotten, it's such a let down when it doesn't taste good and this one was spot on. The store was clean and the employees were friendly. read more

Horrible service. Rude employees . One bathroom that doesn't lock and other bathroom that locked is marked for employee use only... should not be allowed to do this. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually deserve your busy. read more

I am an avid Starbucks drinker and this location is awful. My drink never comes out right and I mean EVER. I always order extra ice - they barely give me any. Whenever I order vanilla sweet cream cold foam, it tastes like nothing. No flavor. Whenever I order 3/4' of almond milk - they fill the entire cup with almond milk. Might as well just give me almond milk in a cup. I mean there's tickets on the cup for a reason. I just don't understand how it could be that bad. I've asked them to remake my drink once before and it still came out wrong. It's not even that I'm picky. The directions are literally all on the ticket. I've always been super nice but I'm over it. read more

I live in this area and get coffee often. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru. If you come here and the line goes past the ordering box, you will ALWAYS wait 20 - 30 minutes guaranteed. The employees don't really care. One time I waited at the window after I paid for my drink. The person working at the window was just talking to their coworkers in the store. After 5 more minutes of waiting (on top of the 30 minutes already), I got fed up and asked where my drink was. It was sitting on the counter behind the them the whole time. read more

I have gone to this Starbucks since it opened. Until a few months ago I would have rated it a "3 star" but in the last three months or so it's gotten much better! The employees are much nicer, and much faster than in the past. Also my orders are right on the money an my dachshund loves the pup cups, so we're good. Kudos! read more

We were traveling south on I95, brought up this Starbucks location. We stopped to top off & get a refreshing beverage. I did the Mobile app option. There were a lot of vehicles in the parking lot, with more people sitting & standing. There were 7- employees behind the counter. They were not meshing and flowing like most Starbucks. One of the other patrons said they'd only been open a week. The employees were overwhelmed , but appeared to be doing their best. The manager finally verified my order & made my drinks. She apologized and thanked me for my patience. I'll try them again in the future. read more

Had my worst experience ever at a Starbucks here EVER. Staff was very disorganized and after a 30 minute wait, I tried to get a refund. I became the problem several minutes later they finally gave me my order. When traveling long distance, the last thing you want to do is wait over 35 minutes for a lousy cup of coffee. Customer service is through the floor. This has certainly tainted my desire to stop at a Starbucks while traveling. read more

Big news for Santee, Starbucks opened. Thought it wasn't supposed to be until Nov. So service isn't yet up to their typical assembly line. We did get what we ordered but it took a while. I'll check back in soon to see if they've improved. read more

It's pretty on the inside but they clearly make the drive thru a priority and if you actually walk into the store you aren't made to feel as important. Been in many Starbucks. This by far was the dirtiest ever. Filthy outside with spilled drinks, overflowing trash cans, and wads of paper and napkins. Inside ... Not any better. Bathroom filthy with papers, wet floors, nasty toilets, etc. Ended up leaving a and not ordering as I didn't trust anything from there for consumption. Go again? Absolutely NOT! read more

If I could give this store a 0 I would. I went through the drive thru and I ordered a grande Carmel frap. When I got to the window, the male employee gave me a grande Carmel crunch frap. I told him that's not what I ordered and he kindly said pull forward and I will bring it out to your car. I parked in the parking lot. A female employee brought my drink out to the car, and this is where I didn't appreciate her customer service. She stated that the drinks were similar to one another. I told her I tried the Carmel crunch frap and did not like it. She again, proceeded to tell me they were the same and gave me an attitude and gave me dirty looks as she went back into the store. Honestly, I don't care if the drinks are similar. I ordered a specific drink, paid for it and that is the drink I should receive. Not a drink that is similar. I hope the manager can review my note and help his employees to have better customer service manners and to pay attention to detail. read more

Clean and well staffed. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Definitely saving this one for our next road trip!

It's surprising to see a Starbucks that isn't well run. This location needs to train and supervise their baristas. Some of their baristas work; some stand around behind the counter on their cell phones, or get rowdy with friends on the other side of the counter. The good employees seemed almost intimidated by the teen drama queen who was causing most of the problems. The manager probably needs to show up on Saturday mornings and sort things out. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes plus an additional 10 minutes at the window. Once we received our order I was handed a hot beverage when I ordered an iced.
