Ribs and Rib-Eye were cooked perfectly. Our bartender Coby was very attentive and made excellent drinks.

Was here for a party in the banquet room. Our server was quick to take drink & food orders, but for some reason my order, which among the 1st to be taken, did not come, and the server had to be reminded. The food was good, but having to wait so long was very frustrating. I was given a discount. read more

Took a long time to get my food, the wait was not the issue....The biscuit was doughy and the gravy like water. My eggs came out runny and raw scrambled. The sausage links had the most horrible taste. The whole meal was horrible. I am not one to complain, but this was awful. read more

Great food, excellent service, no complaints whatsoever. I wish I could remember the name of the young lady that served us, but she was absolutely fantastic and sweet as she could be. read more

We made our reservation for 6:00, was seated quickly. Our waiter was excellent with great service and interactive conversation! I had the all you can eat crab legs with potatoes, sausage and corn and some Old Bay on the side they were Delicious! Hubby had the fried whole flounder with the fixings! Delicious! Son had the steak, he said it was cooked to perfection! The sweet potatoes casserole was delicious he said. I also had the shrimp scampi, house salad and the fried oyster for an appetizer!!! Delicious! Drinks were great. Price was slightly higher than I expected for the crab legs, but I understood the local and the market. Will go back again!! Awesome food, and Awesome Staff read more

We are staying at the KOA near this restaurant, just a short drive down the interstate!! We both had a ribeye, the steak n sides were very good. Wood grilled, and had a great taste!! Crowded, cause it was a Friday night!! There was a country singer that was really amazing. Great service and everyone was very friendly!! We really enjoyed our dinner n unexpected entertainment!!! Very nice place with a full bar!! read more

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. There was nothing good or even fair about the experience. When we arrived we weren't even greeted for more than 5 minutes. Once seated, we didn't see a waitress for another 15 minutes, then it took another 40 minutes to get our food. Now to the food...it was terrible. The jambalaya was inedible. Salty, a weird tasting gravy, hard sausage and chicken that was so tough it was hard to cut. My husband got the New York strip which was nothing but fat and the sweet potato he ordered came out as a plain baked potato. The one star I gave them was for the waitress who was very sweet but inefficient at best. Worst meal we've ever had in Santee! read more

Ok. I ordered burger and fries. Both were just warm when served. Fries were home cut but greasy and limp. Husband got wings which he said were average. He also got s.all pepperoni mushroom pizza. He said sauce was great. Not much cheese and crust was like preformed store bought. Our waitress was average too. Nothing to really make me want to come back here again anytime soon. read more

Friendly southern service! Live music was excellent! Generous portions and great drinks.

Probably a 3.5 but it is certainly a value. Ribs and burgers are good. Budweiser at $2.50 a bottle Entertainment was good. I would go again. read more

The food was solid. We enjoyed the homemade sourdough and the filet was perfect. My companions enjoyed their salmon. The price point is much closer to Mt Pleasant than Santee. Service was excellent and we felt very safe with their protocols, distancing of tables, etc. nice patio when the weather cooperates as well. The waiter assured us that the menu is being expanded and will cover more price points and offer more seafood. For example, the owner also operates a fresh seafood market and serves fried oysters, shrimp and other items food truck and deli style from the back of the restaurant (separate entrance) Monday- Saturdays. read more

This place is just excellent. It seems to get better every time we go. Drinks, food, service, all on point. Consistent. Great bartender.

This is a very good place to eat but just wish they would bring pizza back. The jambalaya is very good and shrimp basket is a lot.

Prices were high for the quality of food. Our food - meat was received raw and we had to return it. When paying the bill they didn't tell us there a service charge for using a credit card instead of cash. Other customers around us were complaint about the food. The servers were good but even they were frustrated. Will not be returning read more

We stopped in Santee, SC for the night and were able to walk to this conveniently located restaurant. It was crowded, but we got seats at the bar (which we prefer). Not only did our bartender, Savannah, make drinks for the entire restaurant and bar, she served food to everyone at the bar and was still able to engage in conversation with all of us at the bar. A+ Savannah!! We had the fried oysters which were good but one did have some shell in it. The ribs and coleslaw were excellent. We highly recommend the Key Lime Pie Martini for dessert! read more

This was our first visit. Was a Sunday evening. Was seated promptly. Greeted by a very nice server who provided good service and checked on us often. Menu had a good variety. We were looking for a light meal. We ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and a grilled scallop basket with coleslaw. Both were excellent. The dinning room is very large. Looks like an old steak house like Ryan's or Golden Corral. We sat at a corner table which made it feel more private. There's a bar in the other corner. If you like ice cream, there's a parlor on the other side of the fireplace. We will definitely be back. read more

Well they had no grill cook so half the menu was gone, no catfish, so I ordered flounder, blackened. Not much seasoning. So mushy. First Time there . Probably the last. The good .... Didn't have to wait. I'd rather wait 15-30 for great food experience. Didn't get it here. read more

My wife and I enjoyed Santee Steak & Seafood. My wife had the NY Strip and I had the Jambalaya. Everything was cooked to our liking, delicious! The service was great as the waitress took the time to learn our names. She even ran out after me when I left my credit card on the table. The ambiance was warm and cozy. You should stop in if you are in the area, you'll love it. read more

We have tried SSS several times. Something always misses. We so much want to have a nice place to eat in this town, we gave it another shot. We went on a Friday night, early. It wasn't crowded, no wait. Our server was Dwayne whom we have had several times. He's a great server, does the best he can with what he had to deal with. The good - the food is excellent. Never had a bad meal here. There was live music, Soul Candy. She was fabulous. Maybe a little loud but such great music, it was fine. As mentioned earlier, Dwayne is a good server. The bad - the owner is always creepily sitting at the bar, with some sort of sketchy looking folks. Tonight, his friend had on no shoes. Owner is always drinking and hanging out, some times with other staff who aren't working (??). Not a good look, IMO. The staff always has some issue for which you will get to hear about. Some drama, some chaos that they are chatting about amongst themselves. Not something I wanna know about. Our food was served at least 15 mins apart. Husbands food out first, my came significantly later. Really does ruin an experience. Especially a $100 dinner for 2. Would probably rather rate this 3.5 stars so gave them the 4 because it was overall better than worse. This time. read more

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary. And that I'm breast cancer free, the food was delicious and we had a beautiful table setting all of our own. We felt so special on our special day. I had the oyster basket. Perfectly cooked and husband had the rack of melt in your mouth ribs. Our waitress was actually the bar tender but went the extra mile because it was so busy. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

The greeter is amazing. My food has been on par and hot when it comes out. The taste is really good. I've enjoyed going there.

Well, staff is phenomenal, I had the carnivore pizza and it was a delicious! We went for the Tuesday night trivia and it was a lot of fun. I went there early on and it wasn't impressed but it's been a while and I came back and it seems to be much better. read more

Ordered NY Strip & Chicken Alfredo. Both chicken and steak had a strong wood fire grill flavor, which was ok, but wore off quickly. Could have been seasoned better. Pasta was ok, but not excellent... could have used more flavor. Hushpuppies were good. read more

Wife and I visited a Friday night, got seated immediately, and that's were any service ended. Sat 15 minutes with no one checking on us . No drink order or anything. Stopped a busboy asked who our server is, he notified her we were waiting, couple behind us got seated and drink orders made, tried to flag down our server, she made great pains to avoid eye contact. Waited another 15 minutes. Still no service. Waitress took order for dinner from couple behind us. Again walked around us and avoided eye contact. We left complained to hostess. Never again. read more

What a way to welcome customers who have never been here before. We arrived at 4:10 on a Sunday. Went to the bar, with only 1 other person at it, and were told "you can't sit there, those are reserved for regulars, I need you to move". So we got up and left. I asked how we become regulars if you never let us sit down in the first place? She told me to just leave! First and last time here. It's a shame that you bank all your money on regulars and don't care about new patrons. read more

Wonderful dinner service. Staff is wonderful and I enjoyed talking to them. Love the local feel.

First time staying in Santee. Read several reviews and looked at menus for several local places. This was a great choice. Server was polite a courteous, place is neat and clean. We chose a variety of things on the menu. Everything was excellent. The shrimp and grits is unlike any I've ever had, and was very tasty. I'd recommend this place. read more

Food and service was terrible, skip this place. We had the T-bones and they had some artificial smoke flavoring that was absolutely disgusting and they were 1/2 inch thick. read more

Jada was the whole reason for a good time. She's beautiful and a great conversationalist behind the bar. The fried appetizers were great. Catfish, gator tail, and oysters. The wedge salad was awesome. The red snapper was a lil overcooked, but the ribs and fried catfish basket were on point. The she crab soup was excellent. It was very busy on a Saturday night and it did take a bit to get the food out. But great service can save late food. Lucy was a cutie. I hope she calls me! read more
