One of my favorite Starbucks, ever! We stop in or go through the drive-thru when we go through Sandy. Everyone is so nice and friendly. In the middle of the pandemic your barista (assistant manger) not wearing a mask (the funny part that she is literally yelling aggressively with agitation at the customers to mask up while she is not , till I left the store) when I asked why she is violating Oregon COVID restrictions, the reply (because she is on the phone) Horrible customer service very bad attitude, very bad representation!!!!! This has probably routinely been one of the poorest customer service experiences I have had the misfortune to endure at a Starbucks. I would even say that this location surpasses what you get at most airport locations and that is not good. Long wait times, staff with unfortunate lackadaisical attitudes- seemingly not caring if you are a customer or not. Long wait times where you watch those in front of you getting frustrated over not receiving an expected level of service or product. Went by today and was having a craving for a chai latte. Ordered a grande extra hot. The girl at the window was very nice and polite. Unfortunately after I drove off and tasted my drink it was just a Cafe latte, not chai tea. I went back and they promptly replaced my drink. This is the level of customer service you get from Starbucks. My drink wasn't made properly, I went to ask to replace it, the assistant manager gave me a suspicious look and asked if I drank any of it. I was upset of that but decided to let it go. She was rude all the way, so I decided to ask another associate for her name. She was furious and asked me why. At the beginning I refused to talk to her, but after she asked several times, I decided to tell her that she humiliated me by asking if I drank from it. The other batista understood, but she didn't accept a complain and asked me to leave. When I complained and asked for other people's names to witness, she called the cops on me. It was another way of humiliation. I was so embarrassed in front of my wife and my kids. It was a horrible experience. read more

There are small family owned coffee shops in sandy that are so good they will make you never want starbucks again. Then again, this starbucks location is crappy enough all on its own to make you never want starbucks again. The staff is great. They're doing the best they can, but the management at this place is terrible. These poor baristas are so understaffed, you can feel the stress oozing out of this location. If you go here I ask that you have patience with the staff. They're working in a hostile environment and they're trying their best. I've never been disappointed by the service or quality of product by this particular Starbucks. That being said, you're going to receive the kind of attitude that you give your barista. They're people too, and want to be treated kindly even if they're the ones being paid to do so. Yes, there is a wait time some days but every item is crafted by hand, so that's to be expected. This is one of the more laid back, small town Starbucks with employees that seem to know everyone that comes in their store. It has a hometown cafe shop feel and less of a Seattle coffee chain vibe. Went and paid for 2 same type drinks. Both smelled and tasted horrible. We ended up dumping them and not drinking. Too bad since most things are way more expensive now and to waste money just doesn't set well. Sure they say they will remake a bad drink but what guarantee they can do it right the 2nd time? This is not the first time it has happened at this location. (following applies to most all Starbucks)...I don't know what happened to consistent quality but is has sorely disappeared from Starbucks in general. The Caramel Macciato especially is rarely appetizing anymore and maybe one time years ago it looked similar to the photo(s) of it and tasted quite good. We started going with the Caramel ribbon crunch which started out great as well but over time the consistency quality is not there. Sometimes you get more coffee, sometimes rarely a drop. Sometimes the appearance is an even brown color and other times more white signifying more milk and whip than anything. People in this Starbucks are very friendly, however, it is quite slow. There were only 5 people in the lobby today. The music was loud and the first song was Highway from Hell. Once it was over, the music was no better. It was way to loud to be able to converse. Two songs later, it was Highway to Hell again. Are they trying to keep us from coming in. I went to this Starbucks yesterday, Sunday June 29th. Since the drive through line was long I parked and went inside. I was able to place my order quickly however waiting for my drinks took forever, I watched as the drive through line drinks were made and the lobby drinks were ignored. Pretty much a Starbucks fan, and this is one of the nicest Starbucks facilities around. That said, there is room for improvement at this location. More than once, the garbage cans have been overflowing. Not appealing. The napkin, creamer area has also been messy more than once. I realize that when things are busy, it can be hard to take care of these things, but these kinds of oversights can really degrade the experience and the reputation of Starbucks. The restrooms seem often in need of cleaning and picking up -- the women's included. Sometimes, one or the other seems to get locked even though no one seems to be in them. Finally, have had some of cashiers seem abrupt or just unfriendly -- and it wasn't just me. I like this Starbucks and hope that they will tighten the ship here. read more

This is a brand new location, located on the same strip mall as the new Panda Express in Sandy. The decor is open and modern, with a large butcher block table in the middle of the room with maybe six stools on each side. There are several small, two person tables scattered around the place, and a nice, cozy area around the fireplace. Most tables have access to an electric outlet and of course, WiFi is free. There's also a nice outdoor area, with patio furniture and umbrellas. As a bonus, the previously mentioned fireplace is double sided, so one side faces indoors, the other side is on the patio. Great place for a hot chocolate! The food is standard Starbucks fare, but always fresh and properly prepared. Coffee and tea right on the money. The place is staffed with mostly college age kids and they do make an effort to keep the place clean and orderly. One last tip: The free WiFi runs the entire night, even after closing hours. So if you need emergency access, just head to their parking lot! read more

I want to say thank you to the very kind barista that gave me my coffee for free this morning. I went through the drive thru and left with my venti mocha. Just down the road I knocked my coffee over and it spilled all over my car. The whole entire thing. I went back through the drive thru again and she remembered me just being there.
