I can't understand why this place has such a low review. I popped over while having my car serviced down the road. It was crazy busy with mobile orders and the drive through line. It took a few minutes to get my drink, but there were six employees working their butts off without missing a beat. I admired how hard and fast they were working, which reminded me of my times in fast food. They alone deserve the 5-star rating and they were friendly. The ambiance was nice- very busy but plenty of room to sit and work, or hangout. I noticed a lot of regulars popping in, which the staff knew by name. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The tables could've been wiped off as a lot of them had sticky residue, but I don't quite see when the employees would've had the time. read more

I order an extra hot vanilla latte through the drive through. I'm leaving Starbucks and realize the coffee is warm and no vanilla. 6.22$ for a grande coffee that was made incorrectly. I decide to go inside to see if they can fix it. The lady inside says 'oh let me get you a cup of vanilla so you can mix it in.' I first came in to have a drink and the person at the counter was ok not overly friendly but not rude. I think the a/c must have been lit because it was very warm inside. I also noticed that the trash can inside was very full. This was around 6pm. Then I went through the drive through about an hour later and the person at here barely said a word. I believe this person at the drive through's name started with an A. "A" didn't even say anything when they handed me my drink, or say have a nice evening, just a blank stare. Terrible customer service in the drive through! Drinks were made fine but friendly staff makes customers return. I don't plan to return to this location. read more

Drive Thru Didn't make the drinks as ordered. Cups were overflowing without stoppers. 1 was so overfilled that the outside of the cup was stained with coffee and there was coffee in the crevices of the lid. I went inside to just get another lid 10 employees behind the counter not helping anyone that walked up. We met some friends here for coffee at about 9:00 PM. It was surprising to see so few cars in the parking lot, but it didn't take long to figure out. As we were walking up toward the entrance, we noticed all inside chairs were turned upside down on the tables. Then, when we got to the front door, a large trash can was placed in the middle of the door. We started to leave as it looked like they were closed. However, a customer from inside told us they were open. We went up to order, and I asked the help if they were closing. She said "no, why do you ask"? We placed our orders, went and took some chairs off the tables, and waited. Orders came out in about the usual time and tasted like typical Starbucks. Attitude is the problem -I ordered 5 drinks - and I got 4 ------(order : dirty chai cold, green tea, capuchino, vanilla bean frap and dirty chai warm) And when I told her I was missing a drink - she insisted she had given us - ALL the drinks!!!!! she insisted, - so we held up all our drinks - which she could clearly see it was only 4 cups and not 5! PANDEMIC UPDATE: For the last three weeks I've pretty much become a hermit. But I had to make a run outside yesterday and decided to stop and get a Starbucks. It was my one crave. I downloaded the App so I wouldn't have to interact to pay them (highly recommended) and drove through. They were hugely nice and enthusiastic. Poor customer service. Made a mobile order that turned out to be at the wrong store. After waiting 20 minutes I went up to counter to ask for the status, was told I just had to wait. Went back up to the desk and ask about my order said they were backed up. I asked if she could tell me how many more ppl were in front of me since I had already waited 45 minutes. Barista very obviously annoyed went to check and said she didn't see my name. I showed her my order and she looked at it and was like that's not our store and left me standing there. I waited for her to come back and I asked again ok so what's my options since we've already been waiting so long. She looked at the order and was like I don't want to make those drinks unless you re order and wait which said it would be another 30 minutes, then I said well I've already paid for these and waited forever and she very abruptly told me to go talk to the cashier because she didn't want to deal with it. I went to talk to them and three of the employees went and talked a bit away from the counter and said all we can do is try and give you your money back or you can wait again. So I took the refund but it was made very clear that they did not care to make my drinks and wanted to force me to wait again. Which I would have done, if I had found out at the 20 minute mark about the mistake. But at that point I had been standing at the store for almost an hour and wasn't about to waste more time there. I felt very much unwelcome at the store and no one took anytime to help when we first went up to the counter and very begrudgingly help after I insisted at the 45 minute mark. Desperate for a latte to fuel my drive to South Texas from Austin, I pulled off at a familiar Starbucks sign. I've been here before on other road trips and knew it was a quick stop, easy on and off I35. Horror of horrors! The line wound around the parking lot, down the driveway and into the street! But, not that many cars were parked so I decided to play one of favorite games, "Can I make it out before...(whatever car was ahead of me) makes it through the drivethru." Five stars for the batista who enthusiastically greeted me as I walked inside with a seemingly heartfelt "Welcome to Starbucks!" The team behind the counter bantered back and forth and all seemed to enjoy their work and each other. They made my wait inside pleasant. My drink was out in a jiff and I was indeed the winner this time; Mr. Red Truck was still a car back from the window! Every now and then, SB will give you excellent customer service, yet this was not that time. Usually when I drive through San Marvelous, I hit up the drive-thru window. Typically, service is quick and uneventful. This time, my hubby and I decided to make a pit stop and use the facilities. I decided to order a grande Iced Caramel Macchiato. Shortly after, my husband found a bag of Kenya blend to take home. Despite having four people there, between the drive-thru and store, they were slammed!!! Orders were messed up, mixed up, forgotten, and duplicated. Mine was forgotten. I saw a few people walk in after me and leave before me, with their drink in hand. Once I finally received my drink, it was the worst Iced Caramel Macchiato I ever received. The drink was already mixed, and it tasted like 1/4 of it was pure caramel and not as chilled as it should have been. I may need to relocate to another SB on my way home from Austin if I need a restroom break to avoid another crappy drink. read more
