Need to improve the employee's attitudes. I tend to avoid this location because I always get a snarky remark. Especially when, god forbid, I place a mobile order and arrive before the 7 minute mark. Even today when the store was completely empty and there was no one else in line, I got scolded. The employee verbatim said "*sigh* well Lauren, since you ordered this 2 minutes ago, I can't promise it's ready. So we may have you pull around and sit in the front." Would it have been easier for them if I ordered at that very moment instead of mobile? Went through the drive thru on feb 22 at 2:31 ordered our drinks and when we were at the window to pay decided to add a cake pop, mind you there was no one behind us or in line the barista told us we had to get back in line if we wanted to order more items. I make my coffee at home but we're moving, coffee maker is at the new place and no one was in the mood to use the French press on our way back from a long morning.. I wanna say I hate coffee chains bc I'd rather support local, but I wont ;) anyway, that's why I don't have a lot of Starbucks to compare this to and I cant speak on the space or service inside since I use the drive-thru. Been here a couple times, there's usually a line but they're always fast! The lady that took my order/payment helped me use the app and was very pleasant.. (didnt get her name but blonde lol) definitely what you want first thing in the morning before you have your coffee. Just keep in mind other ratings.. a lot of people that frequent places like this do have something to say about the length of their straw, temp of their ice, the difference between 1.5-2 minutes it takes to get their drinks, even the price they're paying that they know beforehand is excessive, etc. Hey.. be realistic. This is a cramped drive thru as they share the space with a restaurant I think . I bet you can get a nice curb rash on your rims if you're not careful turning into the drive thru alley . I have only been to this location once, in the middle of the day. The people working here were all very pleasant, so 4 or 5 stars for that. It is a bit smaller inside than most Starbucks. The main reason I rated just OK is the coffee. Starbucks are everywhere and you know what to expect but my thing is straight espresso (no cream or syrup for me, just caffeine) and their shots are *small*. I got a double espresso and it was maybe half what I get from Black Rock on E Vista Way. read more

I finally went into this location after bribing my kids to come to the gym with me very early this past Saturday. Hey, do what you gotta do! The line was moving slowly- I'm not sure who was to blame, the person at the register or the cashier, but another employee started taking orders so you just had to pay when it was your turn. By the time you paid, your drink was ready. I ordered two cake pops, one kids hot chocolate, and one large iced water. It was ready lickety-split. The inside is nice- some seating, comfy chairs, clean. The outside is a lovely shaded patio area. There's some construction going on next to it- not sure if it's more seating or another retail venue. The one thing that separates Starbucks from all the other coffee places is that one truly can have a totally custom, handcrafted drink. For those of you that don't realize this, everything that says Starbucks is not created equal. What i mean by this, is that there are corporate stores and licensed stores. Those Starbucks that are in a grocery store, a Target, etc., these are licensed stores and have similar, but different policies. Their employees are those of the store that they work for. They have certain policies that differ from Starbucks Coffee Company. When you purchase your drinks from a corporate store, you will find that when you are disappointed with your beverage- it will be remade for you. Corporate stores will often honor an unhappy customer from another store no questions asked. This location is awesome - always there to please - always on their game. I've order this drink multiple times (Venti Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso) at the Rancho Santa Fe location but today by far was the worst order I've received. This has happened a couple times already where 1. The venti drink isn't filled up all the way. 2. They put so much ice that I am getting a grande when paying for a venti. 3. The coffee is very bitter, even with the 3 pumps of vanilla syrup on one of them like I've done before it still does not make the coffee taste anymore bitter. I've been here numerous times where I ask for a venti cup of water every time they say I can do a tall I'm low on venti cups! Been going to this Starbucks a few times and the people there just don't care, crazy how a Starbucks can be so different from one another. Ordered a sandwich with my coffee and shame on me for not checking my order (as I went through the drive through). They gave me the wrong item and when I called (since I was charged more sandwich vs the egg bites) to get the difference and I was already at home 3 miles away. Their attitude was literally "oh well...I don't know what I can do about it". And just stayed on the phone in silence. Just sad read more

Work was extra stressful and my plans canceled on me and I ended up at the end of this day at this particular Starbucks. My barista asked how my day had been... This Starbucks is our favorite one! There is a long table with chairs at both sides which is ideal for an engineer like me who needs to stop in open up a Mac Book and go to work while having some delicious pastry and choice of so many nice coffees. I'm pretty traditional when it comes to coffee as I just get the bold Venti but I will always get a chocolate chip cookie warmed up alongside it. Onny (my wife) enjoys the green tea latte. We also get the chicken Santa Fe warmed up quite a tasty lunch or snack. There are several reasons why we love the Starbucks over others. First the lighting is fantastic, the pictures and decorations are very nice. Their is also an outside seating area with various tables to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful both for inside service or for the pick up window. But mostly we favor this Starbucks is because previously they were located at the opposite corner in the Albertsons shopping center at suite #100. This now is the home to where my wife Onny and I started our dream business taking all that we had saved and embarking on a dream for a new Thai restaurant we've named Onnys Thai . It's been 1 year now since we opened. Thanks to Starbucks the ambiance inside our restaurant has a very warm, welcoming and unique style that captivates our customers. Tried to return a card but manager is too dumb to know how to do 2 days before Christmas really now day after this occurred and on the phone AGAIN with corporate starbucks. Day before christmas. The "manager" put through a credit to my account (debit account ie CASH) and it has not appeared on my bank statement - why? according to bank "the staff has to do their batch process in order for it to work" ie they didnt close out the register or the transactions so on 12/24 I do not have my money.
