I visited Starbucks in Sacramento, CA [8231 Timberlake Way] on Saturday, 09/05/26, around 3:15 PM. Since it was a hot day outside, I was craving a cool drink to quench my thirst. I proceeded to order the Trenta (30 fl oz) Mango Strawberry Refresher, prepared with water, and a Venti (24 fl oz) water with ice. The refresher was a fruity and delightful sip. The water was also much needed to hydrate. Whereas the Venti water was complimentary, the refresher was priced at $6.45. I had 60 stars available on the Starbucks app, and I was able to utilize the $2.00 off discount. Having a rewards account is such a great perk! The inside of the coffee shop was tidy and welcoming. There were a decent number of tables and chairs available for guests. A/C was functioning nicely to provide relief for yourself from the heat outdoors. The staff members were courteous. Lots of easy-to-find parking, which was a plus. I'd return to this Starbucks location. read more

Just want to shoutout Connor (I think). I forgot to state that I wanted my drink to be Hot instead of iced and when I pulled up to the pickup window, he was about to hand me an iced drink and I apologetically said I totally forgot to mention I wanted it hot. He was very nice about it and went to make the hot drink with no problem. He even handed me the iced drink as well with no charge. Turning in a third place from home. Coming here more often as I am in town. Vexing on of my favorite places. The store has nice seating options inside and out. Close to a number of stores. Good size parking lot with shad trees so car doesn't get too hot when I visit for a while. Also clean and welcoming. I have seen the staff have an off day serving customers in store or walking in. I was in the drive thru line when I was tood that they could only accept cash. They told me I could come in and pay card if I wanted to but when I asked if they could take my order and then I would pay inside, they declined me. I told them that I am in the middle of a big line and the employee responded "there is also a line inside". I find it very odd how they couldnt just take my order and I could pay inside. This location is great! They have a very friendly and genuine staff. The drinks are well made. The matcha lattes actually taste like matcha (unlike some other locations/cafes that use too much milk). They do use a lot of ice in their lattes. This location unfortunately doesn't get many of the limited editions cups/merch/tumblers. Bathrooms are locked, requiring a code to open, which changes often. This cafe has a drive through. They have a big parking lot, sharing it with many other stores. read more

This location, in the Target parking lot off Consumes Blvd, is hidden in the north end of the lot. It may have a drive thru, but i couldn't find it. I ordered my usual white chocolate mocha with oat milk, and it's one of the better ones that I've had. Only a couple of workers I saw, but the two gentlemen were very efficient, and I loved the drink. Cold and rainy day, so I came to treat myself to a gingerbread latte and grabbed a polar bear cake pop for my son. The service was fast with no wait at all today! Ordered a venti , was given a grande . Informed staff it was wrong they gave me a venti and asked I pay the difference. That's fine and fair , I asked for a venti , expected a venti and obviously I'm going to pay the 30 cent difference. My problem tho lands on the manner in which the staff handled things . Incredibly rude treating me as if I was asking for freebies. I wasn't . again, I was more than ok paying the difference . I didn't enjoy getting treated like crap. Memorable experience at the Timberlake location. As soon as I walked inside, the tables to the left and right were fully occupied by what appeared to be retired men who frequented the coffee shop. I was greeted by Cayla (manager), who happily took my order. I commented on the gentlemen to which Cayla replied, the gentlemen meet for coffee once a week, same day, same time...how sweet! I was preparing to leave and Cayla apparently noticed my birthday drink on my account (how nice of her!). The barista quickly whipped up a Medicine Ball and I was on my way. Erase everything negative you have read in Yelp, I am a proud frequent flyer here and to be honest this location not only has the absolute best staff, they are obviously the most well trained. I can say that as a former employee of this enterprise, most locations recently are not consistent, rush and compromise quality and hire based on what seems like diversity (in no way meaning to be offensive but it's true) versus a prospective partner that can and will learn the role and have pride in the position. Young and fun means nothing when you can't make a drink someone is paying $7-9 for. Starbucks, please learn from this location or continue to lose business to Dutch. Just saying. read more

They always get my orders wrong here and they aren't even complicated orders. I hate coming here but it's the closest to my house. I usually order the iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso and it's always more bitter and darker than that the other Starbucks, I've asked why they make it like that and they say that's the recipe but at several other Starbucks it's lighter and tastes a lot better. read more

This is probably the fastest Starbucks drive thru I've ever been to! Usually these drive thrus take so long so I prefer to mobile order, but we decided to get coffee last minute after being in the shopping center already so we got in the drive thru line. Drinks were ready as soon as we drove up to the window, I was amazed at how fast it was! We even had a warmed pastry and it was ready to go too! The staff is always nice and even though they are super busy, they take the time to be polite. The drive thru line is always long so I usually spend an extra 10-15 minutes in the drive-thru line. The inside is nice and clean and inside pick up service is a lot quicker than drive-thru pickup. Food is always warm and delicious. read more

The slowest Starbucks I have ever experienced! Not sure why the app says your order will be ready within 3-6 minutes but you end up in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. At this point, my food is cold and the ice has melted quite a bit. If I could have left the drive thru line, taken my sleeping daughter out of the car, went inside the store to get my order, wrestled to put my daughter back into her car seat & driven home, I still would have been able to do ALL of that in less than the time I had to sit in the drive thru line. Also, it seems as if whenever I order drinks here, they do not taste the same as other locations. So having to wait all of that time just to not have your drink turn out right, it is very disappointed. Ridiculous! read more

I was shopping at Target and decided to drop by this Starbucks to get a drink. I was craving an iced Carmel Macchiato so I ordered this drink. Whoever made my drink did an amazing job. The drink wasn't watery and wasn't too sweet. I will be back to try this drink another try, and if it taste the same than this would be my new to go spot for Starbucks. I want a store that remain consistent of their drinks. I ran into a few safety issues about this location though, not really the safest area. But if you just go through the drive through than it's fine. read more
