Love this whole group! My home store and I accidentally left my tips from work yesterday, when I came in today they had them for me Barista Baddies Most are greeted by First name and a smile even at 6am. Menu is great and always bringing out seasonal items. Well also teach their own barista choice of the week which is great because all of them taste delicious.

Now that the weather is good and the seating inside is open, this was a nice place to hang out. There is not a lot of outside seating and it's more on the sidewalk of the building with no greenery around. So the overall experience is not the best but it was good the other day, I ordered the Mango Dragonfruit drink was good, as expected. I like the tartness (not overalls sweet like some of the other drinks). It is good to have a variety of offerings The Fruit & Cheese box is a favorite for a meal or snack. The one I got was fresh, chilled properly, and enjoyable. Parking is not hard as this store is in a small outdoor "strip" mall area. It is not far from a bowling center, which I was waiting to open. Spent the time enjoying the air conditioning, drink, reading, and pleasant staff.

My best Starbucks ever

This is the closest one I go to so i always go there. Employees are very kind and cheerful. Today was my birthday and went in for my free drink, they were so kind and told me happy birthday multiple times. The drink was amazing (Carmel frap with extra Carmel). The two lady's who we're working were so kind and generous! Absolutely made my day. Definitely recommended drink and place

There's a Starbucks everywhere but it's the closest Starbucks to me. Great location with outdoor seating and great size for a Starbucks. The baristas are friendly and efficient. Your drink will be served exactly the way you like it, fast and with a smile.

You have to buy something to get a water. I am definitely not one of the homeless people walking the area. Terrible service!

I was a little skeptical, seeing how many locations there are for Temple, but the long line was a promising sign that did not disappoint. POUR OVER: 5/5. One of the better pour overs we've had, high praise from my partner who used to roast his own beans and has historically disappointed with a great many pour overs, even from highly rated places all over the West Coast. MATCHA LATTE: 5/5. As an OC girly with no shortage of incredible matcha spots at my disposal, I was pleasantly surprised. Matcha forward, not too sweet, with a velvety mouthfeel. VANILLA LATTE: 5/5. Reminds me of Blue Bottle lattes on a good day. Perfectly balanced. PRETZEL BACON PASTRY: 4/5. 3 for me, but 5 for my partner who is still talking about it even a week later. Those were just the things I tried first hand, but everyone was raving about their drinks and pastries too.

The drink was very milk-heavy with only a faint matcha flavor, so I couldn't really tell what quality matcha was being used. At $8.50, I was pretty sticker shocked -- especially for Sacramento. Even a lot of cafés in Los Angeles don't charge that much for a standard iced matcha latte. That said, I did work up the courage to bring the drink back and ask if they could add more matcha, and the barista was incredibly kind and accommodating about it. It still did not have a strong matcha flavor, but the customer service genuinely turned the experience around for me. No shade to the business overall -- Temple has been around for a long time and is clearly well-loved for their coffee program and lattes. I just personally wish the matcha flavor had been stronger from the start, especially at that price point.

Hidden gem energy with a sandwich that almost spiritually attacked me…read more I genuinely was not expecting one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in a doctor's office building, but here we are. Roast & Grinds is tucked inside one of those professional medical office suites near the IVF facilities, and honestly? It's such a clean, cute setup that it immediately caught me off guard in the best way. The location feels polished, calm, and super professional without feeling cold or sterile. My husband actually found this place after specifically hunting for a good sandwich spot, and thank God he did because this sandwich changed the trajectory of my afternoon. The two girls working there were incredibly nice from the moment we walked in. I asked for a sample of the pastrami before committing, and instead of acting annoyed like some places do, they happily gave me one. The second I tasted it, I already knew I was done for. Then they heated the sandwich up fresh and absolutely put their foot in it. Now let's discuss the real plot twist here: the pepperoncinis. WHAT are they feeding those things?! Those were the hottest pepperoncinis I have ever had in my life, and somehow it made the sandwich even better. It was the kind of spicy where you pause mid-bite and reconsider your decisions... and then immediately go back for another bite anyway. "Hurts so good" is honestly the only way to describe it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread held up perfectly, and the whole experience felt surprisingly elevated for a tucked-away little café inside a business suite. Also, small detail that I personally appreciated: being connected near medical and wellness offices while still serving genuinely fresh, satisfying food just makes sense. It feels intentional instead of greasy or slapped together. Parking was easy, the entrance was simple to find right on the corner, and the whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. Only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to try more of the menu before I fully marry myself to this place emotionally. But trust me: I will absolutely be back for that pastrami sandwich and those violently delicious pepperoncinis.

I've been coming to Estelle's Bakery & Patisserie for years since I used to live only a block away,…read moreso it became one of my favorite places to walk to for tea and desserts. I've since moved out of state, but during my last visit in January this year, the treats and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. This was always one of my favorite spots to spend a few hours catching up with girlfriends over tea and pastries. The ambience is lovely and gives off fancy tea party vibes, making it perfect for casual conversations, book discussions, or just relaxing with something sweet. My personal favorites are the rose macaron and the mont blanc desserts. If I'm feeling hungry, I usually order the ratatouille, and the vanilla bean French toast is amazing when I want something sweet but filling. Matcha is always my go-to drink here too (though it's on the sweet side, so I don't think it's ceremonial grade). I remember my first visit; It was when I stopped by later in the day looking for a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday about five years ago. I ended up choosing their chocolate mousse cake on a whim since it was one of the cakes they still had on display, and it turned out to be a good decision. My son loved it, but it was too chocolatey for me so he ended up having most of the cake. Still one of the memories I remember most from here. It was something I kept in mind that if I wanted more options and variety, I should arrive earlier in the day. There are a few downsides that keep this from being a full 5 stars for me though. The parking lot is very small and street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. The place gets crowded very easily, which is why I usually preferred walking there when I lived nearby. There's often a guard stationed at the front kindly holding the door open, though I imagine that's also due to the neighborhood. Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, but honestly that's fairly expected with a patisserie. My biggest issue is that service can noticeably decline when they're overwhelmed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get absurdly long (almost out the front door), and I've experienced slower service and even had my drink mixed up with another customer's order once. Since I order oat milk due to lactose intolerance, getting the order correct is pretty important. Thankfully, when the bakery isn't overly busy and adequately staffed, the employees are attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the ordering process if you have questions. It is still one of the Sacramento bakeries I miss after moving away. It was so lovely to have a bakery down the street from home.
