I never leave negative reviews but I've been to this location 5+ times and I think this past time was the last. I'd rather drive further to go to a different location. The girl working the drive thru this afternoon 5/22/26 at 3:30 was extremely rude. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years in management positions, I understand customer service better than most. It is sooo incredibly easy to be kind, and when you work in the service industry, you know what it's like when you experience a horrible customer. There will be customers that will come into your place of work, and will yell, scream, and even cuss at you. My sweet, little elderly mom would never do this. She's one of the nicest people, especially to service workers. What I'm saying is, whenever you have a nice customer, take advantage of that and be nice back. Service workers get so few nice customers. There's no reason to be mean. My mom very politely let the drive thru worker know we placed a mobile order. The young girl in the drive thru, with a horrible attitude almost yelling, said "spell the name." After spelling a very simple name might I add (it was clear she was being sarcastic), the worker yells again "the one you literally placed two minutes ago?!?" this logic is so ridiculous to me, if I had placed my order driving up to the window, like everyone else, wouldn't I have just placed it? Why does that matter? Anyway, my mom, still kind, told her "yes I'm sorry. The app wasn't letting me place it until a moment ago." The worker continued with her attitude and borderline yelled "yeah, next time place it ahead of time. You're going to have to come inside to get it." Let me also add there is about four cars in front of us, and having been to this Starbucks multiple times already, I knew that it was going to take at least 20 minutes in the line because they're so incredibly slow. So they definitely had enough time to make our order. Well, anyway, we went inside to pick it up as soon as we got there, the order was already sitting on the counter. This girl was clearly in a bad mood/just had a bad personality and the only issue was she didn't want to service another customer. I didn't mind having to go inside as much, it was just the way my mother was spoken to I couldn't believe. Again, it is so so easy to just be kind. That was so unnecessary. To the girl in the drive thru, if you don't like people or servicing them, that's fine. But don't work in customer service if that's the case, which it clearly is for you. If I was in management at that establishment, she would not be employed for much longer. We are just two customers you're losing, but when that attitude continues with customer after customer, it will start to add up. Do better! read more

The guy with the shaggy hair thinks that he is helping people by putting two ice cubes in everyone's coffee but in reality it's making my iced coffee, super hot and unenjoyable. Literally zero ice in this coffee. I just paid eight dollars for and I have to go to work. Why does he do that? read more

Great location. Staff is always quick and friendly. Shelby is an amazing barista. During my last visit, my mobile order mistakenly went through to a different location. She was still happy to make the drinks for us we'd ordered, despite my mistake, all with her usual smile and conversation! Baristas like her are the reason I keep coming back to Starbucks. So, this is kind of a half review because I haven't been inside, only through the drive thru. This is a newer store and they did really good with the outside building design. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. They have two large menu boards and a large ordering screen. The staff always is quick to answer no matter how busy the drive thru is. Everyone I have come in contact with has been really nice and very friendly. I usually will get a flavored iced tea and sometimes food. The orders are always completed quickly and to my satisfaction. I have the mobile app and always pay that way. One of these days I need to go an experience just staying at the store. They have a good sized outside patio area at the front of the building. It is covered and appears to contain a lot of seating areas. There have always been groups of people sitting out there most mornings and afternoons that i go by. Its in a great area that is easy to access and leave. Really nice store and staff!!!!! read more

I really like the way they designed this place. The service is always great because it is Starbucks, but the drive in path and outdoor seating area are great too. They have a long drive for busy days and the outdoor seating area is on the south side of the building, which is great for winter months. Think about that. This is literally the slowest Starbucks to go to, and it's almost impossible to get out back on to Dalrock. If you really wanna coffee I would just go to the Tom Thumb they have a Starbucks inside or you could try scooters which is by the McDonald's. They are both quicker and way easier to get out of. read more

I come here and when I am ordering coffee and other drinks I get good service but ever so often I crave just water and I love Starbucks filtered water. If I order just water I get rude service, they get mad at me. I even try to pay for the water so they would not treat me like crap. This time a guy makes the water and looks at me, gives me a dirty look and just sets it on a table and walks away and goes to check his phone and there is a girl taking the orders for the drive thru and she's a little busy and he is not. I wait a few minutes and she comes to me and I tell her I ordered the water so she hands it to me and I ask her if I can pay for it she says they don't charge for it and I tell her that I get treated poorly when I just order water she tells me she does see some of the coworkers get mad at customers for just ordering water and she does not know why they get mad and she apologizes to me. Then another day a lady made my water she seems mad and just hands it to me appears to be mad and just walks away doesn't say anything to me at all. I feel uncomfortable to ask for just water now and it is not right that they treat you differently when I order the coffee and always spend lots of money at Starbucks. They need to do better. The WiFi was down for like weeks here and is now finally up. When it was down the poor worker didn't want to tell the manager because they were in a meeting for next three hours in the back and she couldn't disturb them. But 3 hours was like 3 weeks, so... strange??? The air conditioning is WEIRD. It goes from hot to cold and cycles annoyingly. Jacket on. Jacket off. Jacket on. Jacket off. I doubt the individual stores can help this, I'm sure it's controlled by someone who doesn't live in Texas. The workers aren't friendly and usually don't tell me to have a good day or respond much at all. They seem unorganized or disoriented at times. Starbucks environment is just different than used to be, it's more a social place than a study place. People don't respect one another by talking and laughing LOUD and just being annoying. I know Starbucks can't control this, but maybe stop making Starbucks so echoey. I miss the way it used to be before EVERYONE would just sit in Starbucks and talk SO LOUD. read more

I'm not usually one who does a Starbucks/coffee review because I'm in and out, or using the drive through. This time, however, I had time to kill before a meeting so I stopped by around 9am. By then the morning rush had passed and I was the only one ordering. After placing my order I found a place to sit and catch up on emails etc. I was expecting to hear my name called out like they usually do. They much have paid attention to me sitting down because they brought me my coffee and scone right to the table. All the staff I interacted with were so friendly and nice. The place itself is spacious and a great place to work alone or as a group (ie: study group etc.). Definitely one of the best Starbucks experiences I've had. They were out of the first few things I wanted, which was a bummer. read more

Ok its all the same Coffees, Teas and pastries. What i do like is the layout. Very roomy amd spread out, not the cramped spaces as some of the other locations. They have outside seating and a nice patio front area to. The chairs are very comfortable and spaced out. You could actually hold a nice company meeting here if you wanted. My idea Starbucks Rowlett, just give me credit for it. The coffee area is long so the staff does not look bunched up together. The 2 restrooms are not designated Men or Women, but both have all the necessities for either and handicap plus baby changing table. read more

this isn't my first choice starbucks, i usually just go to the one next to chick fil a on lakeview pkwy, but i went to this one for convenience today and i definitely won't be back. the barista in the drive thru named Alex, was SO obnoxious. She left her headset on after i had ordered and was saying something so loudly about voice cracking and making weird sounds. even after that, i pulled up to the window and she is loudly chatting about the customer behind me who ordered saying that "i don't even know what she said, i'll double check cause her accent was THICK!!" and i'm not sure how that is even in the slightest appropriate. it's so ridiculous and unprofessional to say things like that, let alone say them while you are serving another customer. who knows what this girl is saying about all the other customers.. read more

Been going here since I was a little kid, I used to walk from my house to get here. The baristas are always very nice, and drinks come out in a timely manner.
