I was in need of something to drink and because it's easter Sunday, the coffee shop that's across the street was closed. I realized that this Starbucks had finally opened, so I went in and checked it out.
Walking in, the place is nicely decorated and more of a long and narrow setup. Shelving was well stocked, two gals were working and there was ample places to sit.
I was able to order a shaken iced tea (essentially an Arnold Palmer. Half iced tea, half lemonade) and it went really super quick. The Barista's had mentioned that they were out of green tea and had to make some more and it would just be a few minutes.
While I waited I sat at the table and realized they had a drive thru! I mean, I saw it from the street but how neat. Good to know that I don't have to get out of my car for this one if I wanted too.
I was surprised when the Barista upgraded me because of the wait, and I got a Venti instead of a grande. How nice! I also enjoyed that the place wasn't super jammed, so it was quieter than a typical Starbucks. I assume that's because it's Easter Sunday and people are out doing dinner and church. Plus, it's new and maybe people haven't realized it's open yet? I'm not 100%, but nice to be able to hear myself think once in a blue moon.
Overall, a fabulous place to grab a coffee without a line a mile long. I'm sure the traffic will eventually pick up here, but for now, I'm loving it! read more
