Really enjoy coming to this specific Starbucks because they always get my order right and the taste is always consistent. I find that other locations make my coffee taste watered down or way too milky. The staff here is always friendly and willing to accommodate any needs you have. I like this location. It's conveniently on route 17 south. It is a small location doesn't seem like a place to spend hours at. Drinks came out pretty good. I like on the counter they have a picture and message from the manager of the location. Much the same as many Starbucks locations. Free wifi, outlets to power up your laptops/phones, and friendly counter staff. Layout is kind of a runway, with lots of seating on either side but main entrance and walkway is straight down the middle. Really just dropped in here to make a deposit in the bathroom while on a biz trip, but decided to stay for a few minutes and have a peppermint hot mocha. Good stuff. read more

I do agree with the previous reviewer about it being cold inside, but it's pretty much a part of the Starbucks global brand at this point. I'm pretty sure that the temperature for chain stores such as Starbucks are set by HQ, and can't really be controlled too much. Plus it's much hotter behind the counter, as their machines tend to create a lot of heat. I like the cold, but I'm also empty on the inside. **Other notes: Be careful driving in at night or during bad weather, since the entrance is easy to miss, and Route 17 is always crazy. Is there a zero star option? Been here a couple of times. Never crowded but always disorganized. Today is my last visit. Found a wallet, asked customers if they had lost theirs. While attempting to locate its owner, was treated like a criminal by the staff. Wait? You're going to use that tone with me? Wait? You're giving me the side eye? I enjoy coming to this Starbucks to study and prepare my final notes when I'm teaching my bible classes at Maranatha. It's not one of the warmest atmospheres as Starbucks goes. My fav in Hasbrouck Heights is the warmest. Music tends to be a little too loud here, but the servers are usually very nice and helpful. It does get very busy and hurried at times. I usually hate any New Jersey Starbucks that doesn't have a drive thru. Seriously, it's New Jersey! Why are there only like 2 drive thru Starbucks!? Anyway, this place is pretty good. Perfect location to get a coffee to fuel your shopping spree at West Elm, The Container Store and what ever other stores is in the strip mall. Very clean, ample seating and good coffee. But, it does get pretty crowded and you can expect to wait in line for 15 min. Like all other Starbucks, looks the same but that is how franchises are these days. Brand new, clean and nice sized for the queue. I was here early on a Saturday morning so there were no lines, no waiting and service was friendly and prompt. By far my favorite Starbucks. The staff always greets me even though I go there once or twice a week. My husband is regular in the morning during rush hour and they do the same. This Starbucks is located in a strip of stores near the intersection of Route 17 North and Midland Avenue in Paramus. Its next to The Container STore and West Elm. This location is not my favorite b/c its small, and there's not a lot of seating. It can get pretty cramped near the register when you're lining up to pay. Across the highway on Route 17 South, there's another Starbucks location that is much better - bigger, more seating, generally nicer atmosphere. I'd recommend that one. read more

As a Starbucks gold card holder, I've been to quite a few locations many times. I always try to hit a new one if I'm in an area that I'm not usually in. I don't like the lay out of this Starbucks. While it has more seating than some others, it's all filled with foot traffic. The main walkway to get to the counter is right up the middle. There's no ambiance here, not even a tiny bit of privacy for you to break out your laptop and blog. It also seemed exceptionally loud. The noise came from the customers and the staff. None of the staff was overly friendly. Glad I don't live in the area because I would be disappointed to have this as my go to Starbucks. read more

And the staff are amazing, not only do you have fun loving and hillarious stuff like the shift manager Michael... However the ey candy there is an absolute bonus!! This Starbucks is BIZZY. It's packed but they get their orders done quickly. The Baristas are helpful and kind. A woman spilled her tea and one of the Baristas practically leaped over the counter with a towel to help this poor sopping mess. I usually get a Vente iced black tea(unsweetened) with one or two Splenda. I sit down, relax, use the wifi or even walk around to the Container store or West elm. Window shopping is always fun, plus I like to see their new line-up. Btw, these two stores are within two minutes of this Starbucks (and that's walking distance). After my walk, I get a refill of my Tea and I go on my way. If you pay with your starbucks app, the refill is free (as long as you're a gold member...or maybe green...I forget). I have been to this particular Starbucks many times. It is one of the larger coffee shops in the area and has a good flow of people. It is a great area to study at because it has lot of outlets for your electronic devices. The coffee is the same as any other Starbucks and the service is ok. The bathrooms are generally clean. The only two downsides are that there is limited parking and it can get crowded due to its popularity. My friend was in the route 17 south, Ridgewood NJ Starbucks, paid for two drinks and waited forever to get his drinks. In the meantime, other people who came in after him received their drinks and left before him. A worker went around asking everyone what they were waiting for and ignored my friend. I feel the reason for this was because he has a darker complexion being of Mexican decent and all the other patrons who happened to be white were asked about their wait. When my friend explained this to the worker he apologized but it was so late already my friend left without his two drinks that he paid for. I think this episode was a bit of profiling ignoring people of color!!! He will never go back again to that one!!! read more

This is a really nice Starbucks. Super convenient in a brand new strip mall just before the Stop aand Shop. The store is really clean and large. It's extremely inviting with seats inside and outside. This particular Starbucks location is on my route into work and I frequent it the most. Well, it's not the best Starbucks and certainly not the worst. There are days I can move swiftly through the lines and get awesome service. Then there are days where it takes what seems forever and the service is not so good. Attention to detail and appearance are both important when it comes to food. With that being said, I find it disturbing that Starbucks has not found a better way to store food in a more suitable and safer manner within their stores. One issue that irks me the most are the cookies and cake pops. When I order either, the Barista grabs the item from the enclosed glass shelf, where nets and flies are visible. Open one up down the street from work? Sure, why not?! I finally decided to give Starbucks another try after having been enslaved by them for seven years of my life. I guess I was getting tired of the other coffee place down the highway I frequent. Walking in is pretty much as depressing as I remember when I was on the other side. Nice, fast, and friendly service. There are 2 or 3 couches that seat 4 people at each couch and roughly 7 tables that seat two people per table. This Starbucks is much smaller than the one on the other side of 17 and there is no drive thru. read more
