This Starbucks is located within Kroger. There is a sign out front to let you know it's inside. Since this Starbucks is located within another store it is small. But large enough to get the job of filling coffee and tea cups done! The Starbucks itself looks a little cramped due to the many cases they have filled with items to buy. It does not make the area look very neat. But they have taken COVID precautions. This I always appreciate! I ordered a venti iced green tea with no water(if you order no water then they do not add extra water to your tea), light ice, 2 pumps of liquid cane, and light peach juice. This is my regular order at any Starbucks I go to. The barista who took my order was very friendly. She listened and wrote my order correctly on my cup. I made sure to pay attention since this was my first time at this particular Starbucks. The male barista who made my order did not pay attention to what was written on my cup. I did not watch him make my drink. I was talking to my friend while he was. When he handed me my drink I asked him if it was no water, light peach juice, & 2 pumps liquid cane only. He confirmed that. So I took my tea and thanked him. He thanked me for coming to Starbucks too. Starbucks has a policy that if you taste your drink and you don't like it they will remake your drink. No questions asked. But due to COVID I didn't want to take off my mask to try it in store. Once I got to the car and tried my drink I was disappointed. There was a lot of peach juice & definitely more than 2 pumps of liquid cane syrup. And water had clearly been added. But this was my first experience at this Starbucks. I'm hoping that maybe this barista was just having a moment and was distracted. I like to give everyone the benefit of doubt the first time. I would suggest paying attention to when your drink is being made when ordering at this particular Starbucks. And taste your drink before leaving the store. read more

This location was so relaxing and not super busy as downtown venues. The baristas are personable and you feel at home here. Despite the music I see myself sitting and indulging in a good book. The time I spent in this place I met wonderful people and I must say the friendliest people around. read more

We were in need a little caffeine on the way to Jacksonville. The service wasn't good--there were three people working and none of them seemed too excited about being there. It was also slow--I felt like I waited forever for two drinks even though there was only one person ahead of us. If we had noticed the stand alone location across the street, we probably would've stopped there instead. read more

So Glad I informed Yelp of this Very Convenient Location of a Starbucks. Right off the I 95 North or South. I was on my way to Savannah,GA. For a short day trip. Savannah is only 2 hrs away from Jax Bch,Fl. Starbucks is at the Front Entrance of Kroger's Supermarket. Can't miss it. Friendly, greeted with smiles. They have adequate amount of Staff to move things quickly and efficiently. Best part is. If you have any questions about All "The New Specialty Brews" Ask away. I've always had the Frapuccino w a chocolate drizzle. But, I saw a customer with A Vanilla Frapuccino that looked delicious. I'm not big into Vanilla. The nice young lady at the counter was terrific. Best of all perfect Vanilla Frapuccino. All the usual Starbucks Goodies are Here. And a few tables. Grab a Cup on the Go. Or shop for anything you may need for the road. I have been here more times than I've checked in. Although I prefer stand alone Starbucks so I can redeem my rewards, for this being the only one in Richmond Hill, I can make it work. Thankfully I've never experienced them be "out" of anything. I normally get a frappucino or a few when I visit this particular location, and I have always been able to get exactly what I want. Midnight mocha or mango pineapple creme...whatever he latest flavor is, they have not disappointed me. Sometimes the line is long, as in there are 4 people in front of me, but it's never made for a terrible wait. I have been here at various times of the day and week and no experience has made me dread this place. read more

This starbucks inside Kroger is horrible! The morning staff is so rude! The lady with the short hair is a total -bad word. They are never polite. She will talk to all the men and be flirty but sees a woman and closed up. I got a coffee this morning and not even a good morning. Then the girl who made my drink just puts it down. I said thank you and she turned around and walked away. Every other Starbucks you go to everyone is so energetic and friendly ! This place must not hire through a normal process. If it weren't for the very kind employees, this place just wouldn't be open. I actually feel bad for them, that the store may say Starbucks and has to abide by Starbucks standards, but is owned by Kroger who couldn't care less about them. Every single time I go in (and it's kind of often since there are no Starbucks in the Hill) they're out of something. Sometimes it's minor, like long straws, sometimes is major like ICE! No ice at a Starbucks means no iced drinks, no iced tea, no frappuccinos, no refreshers. It's more than half of their menu! All I wanted was an iced tea, and couldn't even get that. It's annoying. And it's not the employees' fault. The poor baristas get stuck explaining to everyone why they're not allowed to get a bag of ice from the grocery store (it's not triple filtered like Starbucks requires) or why they can't get a canister of soy milk from the store, again, not Starbucks quality controlled. It's really sad that Kroger can't keep this Starbucks stocked properly to be a 'real' Starbucks. read more

I come here sporadically. Whoever manages this place is lacking in organizational skills. This Starbucks is often out of Venti cups. I've been here when they have actually ran out of milk. It's the only Starbucks around here so they have no competition and no motivation to improve. read more
