While visiting Savannah we found Midtown Deli and Bagel Shop. It was located across the street…read morefrom our hotel. We went there twice. Once for lunch and once to pick up breakfast before our trip home. Their bagels are delicious. The first day I had a bagel with "lox" and cream cheese and my husband had chicken salad. He loved the sandwich. I quoted the lox, because it has become a generic name people give to smoked salmon. The truth is it was nova. Lox is very salty and when I saw that was the only option, I was confident it wouldn't be salty. It wasn't. The sandwich was perfect. They have 2 options, platter or just the opened face sandwich. The open faced sandwich was a little less money and it was nice to see an option without paying platter price. They didn't skimp on the salmon. I ended up taking the other 1/2 back to hotel any my husband and I shared the next morning. I call the portion enough for 2 or for just my kid who loves smoked salmon. The morning we left Savannah we got a bagel with "lox" for my daughter and one for me to share with my husband. He got a bagel with lox spread and then took 1/2 my salmon and we both had plenty. Service was friendly and it's quick serve. The size is small but was very clean. It's definitely not the delis I am used to, but the bagels were great and the prices are reasonable. The will definitely return on our next trip.

That's my…read morefaaaave and Chatime is the only place that I have been to in this area that packages the teas properly, the traditional way, where they seal the top with a plastic film with a special machine. - Parking - Located in the food court of the Oglethorpe Mall, it's on the right hand side, when you walk in from the food court entrance. - Vibe - It's very franchise looking. I'm assuming it is one, but owned by a local family. Bright purple is their theme. They've got an efficient system. You order in the middle of the counter, they give you a buzz when it's ready and you pick it up to the left of the counter. They prepare all the drinks to the right and prep hot food in the back. Pretty simple. - TLC - They always have staff eager to take your order and they have been very efficient at each of my visits. - Eats / Refreshments - I've only ever had the Milk Tea with a dash of bubbles, sometimes no bubbles at all and it's consistent every time. They've got their formula down and it's apparent that they've put the proper training in the staff, no matter who makes it. They also offer Fried Chicken, of all things at a Bubble Tea shop, but it is the South and they are in a mall. I'm sure rent is high and they needed to find something else to sell to go along with their drinks. It seems to be made to order so the next time I find myself hungry at the mall, I'll definitely consider Chatime as my one stop shop.

The older man got very angry with us, the employees looked SO uncomfortable. He scolded us and chased us away, "no no no"! Wow, worst service we've ever had, not to mention the disrepect. People, you deserve more for $8 and proper respect!

There are two screens that you order on, it was a little slow because only one person was working. I really loved the quality boba, and jasmine green tea with 50% sweetness was just what I needed for this insane Georgia heat. Their mochi is made fresh daily. Since moving from Hawaii, I haven't had good mochi since, and this blew me away. It was incredibly fresh and chewy - lots of filling inside, sweet mango, and constructed perfectly! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Eat Tea is on the side with Jersey Mike's. There is a small amount of parking on that side. The service is excellent! You can order on one of the iPads if you are in a hurry or in general. But the staff are happy to take your order as well. The menu is vast. There are many types of teas, bubbles, add ins, foams and more. I tend to try a new tea when I go in. You never know what you like until you try something new! I love the fresh fruit teas. Yes, they do use actual fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of very sweet teas. Generally I will get mine half sweet or unsweetened. It depends on the tea. Just ask the staff about the level of sweetness if you want to know. They also have fresh mochi and crepe cakes. I have not tried the mochi. But the crepe cakes I have tried were delicious. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. It is not meant to seat a lot of people. But it definitely can fit a few comfortably. There is a bathroom in the back down the hall. I continue to go back to Eat Tea. They have great teas in a convenient location!

Our first visit here, but we'll be back next time we're in Savannah. We went there for breakfast,…read moreand there were so many things to try that it was hard to make up our minds. We finally did, but with just the two of us we barely scratched the surface and we really enjoyed everything we ate (and drank)! Not the most fancy place to have breakfast (has that school cafeteria look) and there's a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area, but the menu is VERY extensive and creative, and the food was very good. I got the three large breakfast sausages rolled in pancakes, which came with an orange marmalade syrup with real orange bits in it it. Husband had the pancake sampler, which came with his choice of three different pancakes from their extensive selection and three syrups/toppings. One was a delicious maple syrup which was great with his bacon pancakes, another was a blueberry compote with real blueberries (real blueberries in the blueberry pancakes as well), and he also go the orange marmalade syrup/topping that I got with my sausage & pancakes. We both had iced coffee, which came with vanilla creamers (a favorite of ours). Our meals came out pretty quickly even through there were quite a few other customers. This is not your typical pancake restaurant, and the menu went well beyond that of a typical breakfast joint. Not just the usual your egg combos and pancakes, but a very wide selection of pancakes and waffles with different ingredients mixed in (fruits, chocolate chips, bacon, etc.) and various toppings. They have a variety of omelets, all the usual breakfast meats and then some, several of them in different styles, including bacon, ham, sausage, corned beef hash, steak, shrimp, and crab, and a few types of eggs benedict. Also, several styles of crepes from different countries, some southern favorites such as shrimp and grits, and some international breakfast specialties as well (German pancakes, potato pancakes. Lunch options are also available, but we were there for breakfast and didn't really spend time looking at that part of the menu. Looking forward to going back on our next trip to Savannah (we're usually there at least a couple times a year) and trying some more of their breakfast items! Sorry, we didn't have much to eat the previous day and so we were hungry and forgot to take pics before we started chowing down. Pics next time, I promise!
