This Starbucks has horrid customer service. I would never get greeted when I walk in. If it matters, I'm an African American. I've never seen someone outside of my race not get greeted it's by the same person too. All I've done here is order drinks. This Starbucks location is definitely improving. Perhaps it's pressure from its competing Harris Teeter in store shop across the street? In any case I'm very happy for them and me since it's a convenient location. There are some new additions to the staff and it seems they are more engaged and feel good about being here. That does so much for customer experience! My coffee is nice and hot walk in or drive thru. I also like that my iced drinks are very cold - no "luke warm, melted iced latte" after 3 minutes. The majority of this location's employees more often than not seemingly appear to think it's acceptable to come across as arrogant and/or rude during my in-store visits here, all the while regularly displaying an inconsiderate attitude to most of the new or 'non-daily' customers unfortunately visiting this particular location. The one upside worth mentioning is the drive-thru here, because for some inexplicable reason, the usual personnel and overall window experience are usually on point which creates an odd contrast to be sure. OK, so I don't usually frequent Starbucks. I'm more of a Caribou Coffee girl when I get the urge to drop $4 for a caffeine lightning bolt to my system. However, on a recent very hot and humid July day while tooling around town with my convertible top down, I needed something cold to drink to cool my body temperature back down to 98.6 degrees. And I'd just popped out of another store in the same strip mall where the cash register person didn't make me feel appreciated, so I was rather bummed when I walked into Starbucks. I quickly forgot that when I stepped in front of the counter for some ice cold sustenance. The guys here were super friendly and made me feel like a million bucks when they remembered and used my name. It may be hard to find, but these guys are very cool if you're in the area. read more

I'm a big fan of Starbucks, but I try to avoid this one as much as possible. Slowest Starbucks ever. Don't listen to the "it's busy" reviews. I've been to busier locations that didn't take this long. It doesn't matter the time of day or the amount of customers in line, you're going to wait a while. Plan on it. I was 2 cars behind the speaker, I read all 11 reviews, wrote this one, and I'm now 2 cars behind the window. At 2:40 in the afternoon. This is MY STARBUCKS, meaning it is the closest one to my house. I avoided it for a while because I didn't want to go into the movie theatre parking lot to get to it in the mornings, plus it is a super busy one, but now have found that my car turns right off of Capital into it so I really don't have a choice. The staff is always accomodating and gets it right everytime! The coffee is always hot and despite the prices, which I know is out of the staff's control, I am a huge fan! I wish they could do something about the parking lot and drive-thru- when it gets crowded it sort of becomes a mess as people are trying to get in and out of Bruegger's too, but oh well... This past week, I was told that the car in front of me paid for my coffee as a "pay it forward" gesture of kindness. Staff is always very friendly and tries to go out of their way to ensure everyone is happy! I am not a coffee drinker. However, I love the Frappacinno's that taste like shakes on steroids. The only downfalls I see are that they are always changing where people sit, displays, etc. Also, it is generally COLD. REALLY COLD. ARTIC COLD. CONDENSATION ON THE WINDOWS COLD. I usually go thru the drive thru at this location because it means I've been out of my house in a hurry and haven't had my morning cup of coffee. I got on line and there were quite a few cars in front of me, but the line was moving quickly and I hear a happy voice asking for my coffee order. Don't try to get a special order done right. This is the closest Starbucks to me, and seem to have to have them remake it ALL THE TIME. And some times twice, and I get attitude. No foam, means NO FOAM, not the top 1 1/2 inches of foam. And removing it and handing me back a less than full cup is just unbelievable. $5.00 for a cup of green tea flavored milk means I should be able to get it done right. And I'm ok if there's a little foam, as long as I can push it aside and see my drink. And don't think your mobile order will be ready... read more

This is an update to my prior review/visit. The employee was a bit rude and seemed to be rushing everyone. The store was not that packed compared to what I've seen before. Not only did he seem to rush people as they were ordering or looking over the menu, but once my pastry was ready he slid it across the counter instead of handing it to me. Smh Not sure if he was tired, having a bad day or had a previous irritable customer but that doesn't excuse this type of behavior. Hopefully he had a better day and was able to take a breather. Luckily for him his behavior won't deter me from getting my Java fix in the future. Lol read more

My mom ordered a decaf vanilla latte about a month or two ago. We were back in the car on the road when she first tasted it and it tasted like water. When we got home, we called the manager and he said we could come back anytime and get a free decaf vanilla latte. But when we did, the latte tasted the same. Really icky. So my mom has given up ordering vanilla lattes at this Starbucks. When I went to this location a week or so ago and ordered a decaf americano it was watery too. Have been to this location many other times for decaf cappuccinos which have all been good. Relative to Starbucks in general, just had reduced fat turkey cheddar and cage free egg white wheat muffin and it was really tasteless. McDonalds does a better job of egg white sandwich for the same calories. Also relative to Starbucks in general, it would be nice if they had some lower calorie sweets. 340 calories for a croissant with a little bit of dark chocolate seems way high. read more

Ok I a giving this location a 4 because of their speedy drive-thru and their coffee. I also love the bacon, egg, and gouda breakfast sandwich, it is SO yummy. Starbucks coffee really is one of my favorites as well and it is by far the best cup of coffee in WF. Coffee is one of my vices so I really am critical of the taste of the coffee which is why I am more critical about the other coffee shop in WF. It does have this Starbucks beat in atmosphere though. I do like making my Friday pit stop here on my way to work. The inside really needs some work. This is not a place I would go and sit and relax as there are so many flies. Seriously, eek. Outside is a bit better when there is a breeze, but not by much. The staff is great and friendly though. Hopefully they will do something about the fly issue though. read more

I was disgusted at the fact that there was a dog allowed inside the coffee shop that was not a service dog. That dog ate whip cream from a cup spilled it on the floor and lapped it up. The dog started barking at a patron and came up to me and scared me 1/2 to death and still no one did anything about it. The employees just looked over and continued to work. I was terrified for that one moment. So was the patron that the dog barked at! We are frequent customers ever since this place opened and we are definitely disappointed! This was probably the worst cup of coffee I've ever had, Sheetz gas station coffee has tasted better. Total waste of $3. Venti cup of coffee w/ sugar free vanilla and room for steamed soy milk. I added a couple packets of Splenda like I always do, but when I took a sip it was SUPER bitter and there was no taste of SF vanilla. When I opened it up there was little to no steamed soy milk on top. It is suppose to be very thick and frothy. read more

All summer long you can't sit outside and enjoy a coffee without being bothered by aggressive wasps. Nobody seems to care. There are at least 5 or 6 of them flying around at any given time. You wonder how many times customers ran away from their tables or somebody have been stung by one of these wasps. read more
