They charge about 25% more than other Starbucks because they're in a casino. Horrible service, left me standing at the cash rap to have a conversation amongst each other without acknowledging me. ( Emily )? Tried reading the name tag ... over all bad experience. Didn't have Bananas .. I stepped aside & ordered with Crystal. She was sweet & my drink that she made tasted great. I am usually pretty tolerant about Starbucks and having to wait. But 30 mins for our drinks is crazy!! There were three Employees: One was closing out her register, one was taking orders and one barista. The barista kept having help the lady closing out her register. One of the customers had to point out that she needed to wash her hands after handling the money. She'd already made a few more drinks. But was very gracious, apologized and did so. There had to be 30+ people in line and waiting for drinks. Way to understaff a holiday week. And they were getting drinks wrong left and right. People just took what they were given cause they'd waited so long. Be prepared for a long stop if you go to this Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks location is smaller and slower than other locations. I would attribute the slow service to the smaller shop and them having only 2 workers per shift (Warning to the bright eyed and bushy tailed: workers here tend to be grumpy, be prepared!). This Starbucks also gets a lot of foot traffic since it's close to Vegas and is connected to a gas station (busy, busy, busy!) The line is also long and juts out into the main entrance in a very awkward and inconvenient fashion (no me gusta)! I would recommend parties to have one person stand and wait in line while the others use the restroom/shop in the stores then they can switch (i.e., others stand in Starbucks line while previous person who stood in line uses the bathroom). I've been here a couple of times and the line has been a 15 minute-30 minute wait each time. On the bright side Starbucks is ALWAYS good, which is why I gave them 3 stars. read more

This is a franchise location!!!! What does that mean? It means they won't let you your rewards or your Starbucks app to pay. You must have the actual Starbucks gift card. The line to order was pretty long and moved slowly. People thought they could use pay with their app, but ended up with an unpleasant surprise. I wish they would have signs warning people about this. They'll charge you for a water cup too so no free water here unless you make a purchase. read more

Ok I know it's in a gas station but it has the name "Starbucks". I could not redeem my points but I can deal with that. What is unacceptable is that they charge double the price (over $4.00) for a cup of coffee and whatever lukewarm liquid was in the cup was nauseating. Worst Starbucks experience ever. There was a drunk/high? guy working behind the counter who preceded to harass customers. No drinks were made correctly and he consistently under filled each drink while mumbling racist remarks. The guy was GONE. He was having trouble getting lids on drinks. Took forever. Also Christmas Blend coffee was reported to have a chemical nasty taste. The one saving grace was the lady working with him. She was excellent with customers and kept a cheery attitude. She tried to cover for him and correct him. Felt sorry for her. She was kind and the drink she made was fine. Go to another Starbucks. read more

Firstly, let's clear this up: 1. You CAN pay via Starbucks app 2. You CANNOT use any promotional codes or rewards 3. Prices ARE slightly more expensive ($5.35 for grande flavored latte) You kinda gotta know what to expect going here. It's a store within a gas station, that alone should set expectations. I think the crew at this Starbucks got tired of people asking for cups of water/ice (in the desert? I wonder why!) because they have a sign on the front of their cash register saying that it will cost $1 for a tall, $1.50 for a grande cup, etc..of water. In that case you're better off walking 20 feet to the convenience store inside the same rest area and grabbing a large bottle for the same price. Bonus, your water will not smell faintly like steamed milk. Anyway, yes it's pricier than a regular Starbucks, and no, they don't allow app users to redeem their rewards. I'm not surprised but at the same time it's really annoying, of course. And their service and drinks are mediocre. My regular drink is an iced coffee. There was barely any actual coffee in my cup, it was just packed with ice. Rude. My friend's coffee lid was punctured or something, because whenever she took a sip it'd dribble down on her. If you absolutely MUST have your Starbucks beverage, go ahead. If you can stomach different kinds of caffeine, the convenience store is a better bet. The only reason I'm giving the place 2 stars instead of 1 is that we were able to take some napkins and straws for later.. which are both things that will soon be on lockdown too, I'm sure. read more

Like most people this was a pit stop for us on our way back from Vegas. I decided to run in while my friends got gas and was going to buy chips but got excited when I saw a Starbucks inside. I LOVE their spinach feta wrap, so I thought it'd be the perfect snack. First off the boys that work there kept joking around with me. Being really sarcastic etc. but I didn't care. Then they gave me my wrap and I noticed the middle was SO soggy that the wrap wouldnt even stay together if I took it out of the sleeve, it started to tear so I ate it inside the sleeve. I was nibbling on it really slowly over the next few hours when uh oh- some of the most PAINFUL food poisoning I have ever had in my life. Its a day later and im still having hot flashes, tingling feet, nausea etc and I cant stomach solids. I'm SO angry as that made the already miserable drive back 10x more miserable as I was writhing around in the front seat trying to breathe and not throw up anymore. TERRIBLE. The service was friendly enough, but you are definitely going to pay "casino" prices here. A venti black iced tea and a tall coffee was just south of eight bucks. If you are traveling, and a coffee snob like me, you won't have much choice. Either Vegas to the north or Barstow to the south, as the Starbucks in Baker is just a distant memory. There are gas pumps and restrooms nearby, along with your standard convenience store faire. I will return, as I have to have my SB fix while traveling up or down the 15. read more

This Starbucks is inside of the Chevron gas station off of the Primm exit, right before the Buffalo Casino. Not sure why everyone had such a terrible experience here but I was thankful to get my coffee fix heading north on the way to Vegas. I ordered a cold brew and had no problem with it. Christopher the cashier literally put his hand to his head and said something under his breath after he prompted us to tip before we entered our pin and we put zero. I ordered a passion tea lemonade at 9:20 AM on 3/24/2016. The pregnant cashier lady with glasses was very rude. She left my drink out of the line up so I never got my drink until 15 minutes later. I had to remind them about it. This location is under staffed. The pregnant cashier is rude. Customer service is poor and they intentionally work slow. You are better off buying the prepackaged Starbucks drinks in the liquor store next door. Avoid this Starbucks in the morning hours. read more

I was surprised to see that a venti iced green tea latte was over $7 with no add-ons -but by the time I ordered I was already craving it and went on with the order. Right as we got in line (with 4 ahead of us) and soon after another 5 after us I noted there were 5 bodies but only one on register and she and and another making drinks. None of the others walking in and out of back were acknowledging anyone. When I received my drink I noticed that the tip inch or more of the drink was foam. I wanted to ask for someone to make the drink a full venti but no one would acknowledge or attend to me waiting at the pickup window and the only cashier was clearly busy. What a janky excuse for a Starbucks! A venti caramel macchiato was $5.75! Are they crazy? Our two drinks, one with soy, came up to $13 when it's normally about $9.95. After the hefty markup, the five chola-esque girls behind the counter were crazy rude! They were all gossiping in Spanish when we approached the counter and continued to chat before finally acknowledging us. So we live in Henderson NV, so on our way to Los Angeles we stop at Primm to purchase Starbucks, first we stop at the Whiskey Peek one on a Friday around 7:45pm n they are already cleaning up n closed!!! Slow service and inflated prices. Why am I not surprised to see so many negative reviews of this place? On the road between Las Vegas and Los Angeles (like a million other people on this particular evening, it would seem) a stop for gas and coffee was needed. The people in charge of this store must know damn well that they're the only halfway decent coffee shop for miles around, so they've jacked up the prices because they can. After waiting in line for twenty minutes or so, I got to the counter and ordered a medium coffee. When it rang up at $3.73, I thought I had been charged for two! Nope, they're just bastards. I am struggling with how to rate this place. Here's why: 1) This place is super clean and even though it a high traffic Starbucks they are on top of their location. 2) They made my drink perfect. I am one of those people who orders a drink different than the menu but they nailed it. 3) The baristas were awesome. They were super on top of ordering, very kind and conversational. So why am I struggling? Ok so the price is inflated. But, think about where you are. You are in the middle of no where getting a commodity in a place where thousands of other people travel to a week. It's called supply and demand. I fully realize that getting my coffee at the only stop on the highway for 200 or so miles means I'm paying $1-$2 more. With all that said, I think giving them a 4 star review is perfect. Wish I could give this place a less than one star rate. Stopped here on our way both to and from Vegas. Do yourself a favor and keep driving. I just paid 4.95 for a Trenta ice coffee black. It's not even about the price. The coffee is extremely weak. There was one other patron in line before me. It took them longer to make his tea and my coffee than it did for my hubby to go to mc.d order and come back for me with food. I tried to order a ice water and was told that a tall ice water price starts at a dollar. I will be contacting corprate about this bucks. Considering that people are just here as a stop to and from Vegas, it is very clean and the workers are very nice. There are long lines, but you can't blame them because there are limited options in the ghost town. There bathroom are very clean. You can unleash all of that urine and feces you have been holding for the last hour with the confidence that the bathroom has been cleaned at least once that day. If that's not your thing, you can always go across the street to the McDonald's for a toilet seat and a side of crabs. Also, they probably planned according to the high traffic, because there bathroom actually has two urinals and a toilet. This is the first time I have seen a Starbucks that accommodates more than one person at a time. I applaud whoever was responsible for this decision, because if not you would have a separate 15 person line out the door just to pee. The workers are very friendly despite the fact that they probably see every hobo, crack head, prostitute and random girl selling men's cologne in the parking lot come through here. They also have no problem giving you a venti water and don't give you a hassle when you ask for it. I can't get over how friendly they are here, when every other store here seems like I walked onto the set of Deliverance. The only thing this back from a 5 star review was the drip coffee. This is Starbucks and I know this is in the middle of no where, but the coffee was burnt and had a weird chalky after taste that stayed on your tongue and teeth. One can usually go anywhere and get a consistent quality coffee from Starbucks, so I can not honestly give a coffee shop a perfect rating with bad coffee. This place is clean and courteous. I will definitely be dropping by on my next Vegas road trip, especially if I have to drop off the kids at the pool. read more

The worst starbucks ive ever been to. I ordered a venti iced americano and grande iced Americano. First of all, they were poorly stocked. There was no one in line when we arrived. I asked for the grilled cheese which was on display with no labels; they didn't have it. Then i asked for the oatmeal, she then said that shed check in the back. She only found the raisins and brown sugar packets and asked me if id want those packets. Uh... No. I dont want brown sugar and raisins without the oatmeal. So we just ordered the iced drinks. We waited for our drinks but when we received them we saw that our iced venti americano had no ice and was extremely watered down. We first asked why the drink didn't have any ice. The lady said that the ice melted when she poured the hot espresso. Uh, hello lady, then youre clearly making the drink the wrong way. Starbucks is known for their motto "Love your beverage or let us know. We'll always make it right." We didn't love our beverage. We didnt like it at all. So we let them know. We asked if she could make the drink for us again - the americano was so lukewarm and we've paid over $6 for the venti americano. The lady said even if shed make it again it would be the same and offered us more ice (which would make the drink cool but would water down the drink even more. Not.good.no.like. More than the overly priced watered down lukewarm drink, we were not a fan of rude attitude. I asked how i could leave customer service feedback. They said theyre not starbucks corporate so we dont have a way to leave one. So I requested the manager and the staff's name. I will call the manager Eric and the corporate. I guess this starbucks gets a lot of road tripers and travelers. This may make it difficult for the baristas and may perhaps justify poorly made drinks. But this cant justify rude attitude.
