My review is literally just for the price markup at this location. It's my fault for getting Starbucks off the freeway, I guess. $9 for a grande matcha is highway robbery. $8 or whatever they were charging for egg bites also seemed ridiculous (I didn't order them). If I wasn't in the drive thru already, I would've gotten my coffee literally anywhere else. This price markup is actually absurd, especially since it's just a Starbucks. In the middle of nowhere. You've been warned. My drink was fine. The service was fine. I used my app rewards on a ham & cheese croissant to feel less angry about the price tag. Coffee and tea in Primm, Nevada... Psyching myself for the four-hour drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, I thought that a refreshing iced tea would be a good idea - plus - I would be able to fulfill one part of the six-day Starbucks challenge for Bonus Stars. We saw this Starbucks at the Primm Center. There's a convenience store attached to a clean restroom in the same building. I ordered with the cashier who informed me that they don't participate in the Personal Cup (25 Bonus Stars and 10 cents off) promotion. Wow. Disappointment. To make matters worse, the bill came out to about $5.00 for a tall, Black Iced Tea with two packets of Stevia. I normally pay about $3.30. Ouch. Luckily, I took a sip before leaving the shop. Prim, Nevada Starbucks at the Travel Center They charge twice as much for their products, when I asked why my bill was so high they said the casino owns this Starbucks and they charge twice as much. Lesson learned, when I am going to our coming back from Las Vegas where we have family and friends we will make sure to get our coffee before leaving Vegas. This is our usual stop to grab coffee after Vegas, but it's so pricey. The workers have always been nice and helpful and we usually walk in to stretch our legs before the long drive back to LA county. But travelers beware, a grande Carmel macchiato with soy will cost you over $10 :-( read more

MAJOR rip-off Starbucks right over the state line! 25 bucks for a cold brew, iced Americano, and a Frappuccino. The staff was very nice and we got our order quickly, despite it being busy, they were efficient. Yes, you want a Starbucks after long drives, but it's not right to overcharge people like this. On my way home from Las Vegas and decided to get Starbucks for the family. Went into Whiskey Pete's casino because I thought the Starbucks was inside for some reason. Found out it was inside the Chevron gas station right behind the casino. This Starbucks is really small and it's on the left as soon as you go inside the Chevron. The staff was friendly and nice but like other reviews mention, they do seem to need some good Starbucks training. I had ordered a pretty complicated drink and the only two Baristas that were there sounded like they were arguing about trying to figure out my order. Didn't mean to cause it but it's definitely something that can be fixed with more training and communication. The prices are ridiculously high but it was something I expected considering it's next to a casino and it's pretty much the only Starbucks within a 30 mile radius. One thing that I didn't like however was the fact that I had to pay $2 for a trenta water. They charge for the cup and not the water but $2 for a cup is not cool. I guess since it gets hot they lose money with people getting waters all the time. Overall it's not the best Starbucks around, but it is a convenience one that's for sure. read more

I paid $9 for this half ass rushed coffee. Not even filled up, taste like old coffee and not even hot. I get it you guys close at 6 but I ordered my drink at 5:30 and it took a while for me to get my drink, so the second I walked out to check my drink I open to see this. I tried to go back in and try to fix it but you guys were already locking up the doors at 5:45. The guy who took our order was a jerk and never once looked at me. I ordered a cookie and all he said was 'out'. Amazingly enough the 2 people behind me ordered and low and behold they got theirs. Visited this location since there wasn't a drive through nearby. They didn't even have my hook line sinker for my faithful return visits at Starbucks, Tomato Mazzerella Panini. What went wrong: - couldn't place an order using the Mobile app - found out sandwiches right by the oven ten minutes after placing the order INSIDE of the store...! I had to point out the fact that we've been waiting for the sandwiches. - not sure but she warned up one sandwich at a time which prolonged our visit even longer. The oven looked big enough to hold several! - Turkey Basil sandwich (inlieu of my favorite panini) tasted fishy...?? - Egg & Cheese protein box: Super old & rancid fruit! What's good about this Starbucks location: - Friendly staff (just need to communicate with each other more) - drinks We were on a road trip back from Las Vegas and didn't discovered the food quality problems until well back on the road. It wasn't worth the return trip back ti that store. Perhaps some of the 'What went wrong" may just have been a system issue, but regardless, we will not be returning to this location. read more
