I've been a loyal Starbucks girlie since I was 16--so we're talking almost 20 years of regular visits multiple times a week. You could say I'm a bit of a Starbs snob at this point and THIS location seriously blew me away. We stopped in as a family of four (with two little ones in tow) and ordered drinks + pastries for everyone. Even with a long line, our entire order was ready incredibly fast--like fastest I've ever experienced in all my years of going to Starbucks. The adorable Bavarian exterior totally charmed me and gave me all the nostalgic feels from when I used to live in Germany. Loved the unique vibe--it made this visit feel extra special. Staff could've been a little more friendly, but to be fair, they were clearly slammed and still managed to keep things moving like a well-oiled machine. Honestly, I left impressed and grateful. We stopped in here as we were leaving the area after staying the night at a hotel across the street. We had visited this location 6 years ago, the last time we were in PF. It was crowded! It was a Saturday morning at about 11 and it was packed. However, the line moved quickly and we placed our order at the counter with an employee who was very nice. The line may have been long and it may have been packed but there was space to wait comfortably and our order was completed in less than 20 minutes and all our drinks were correct and yummy! read more

Jennifer stood out as an absolute star. She remained calm under pressure, kept the line flowing even when they were running behind. It's not easy to keep good spirits in such a hectic environment, but they made it look effortless. To anyone stopping by during the busy season, remember, these baristas are doing their best to serve you amidst the chaos. A little kindness and patience goes a long way. Arrived to cars spilling out of the drive thru and onto the highway. No biggie, I mobile ordered! We park in the lot and get to the entrance to see a sign posted stating drive thru only. Wtf? I mobile ordered and it specifically instructed me to pick up in store. The door was locked. The one worker graciously let me and 4 other people in go pick up. Quite possibly the worst customer service of any Starbucks I have been to. We are in town visiting and stopped by the drive thru to grab some drinks today. The staff member working the drive thru around 12 pm, seems like she hates her job. She sounded annoyed with everything we asked for. They were out of the hot tea I ordered and she sounded annoyed with my question of what other teas they may have. It just seemed like everything was annoying her. We ordered three drinks and three food items. We got to the window and she was less than pleasant about everything. No napkins, no smile, no just decent interaction, no basic politeness to be found at all with this staff member. No receipt was given so unsure of her name. Heavier blonde female that was on the younger side, around early 20's. I've worked in the service industry for years so I get that we all have bad days but her attitude was ridiculous. read more

The hours for this Starbucks are incorrect...? Maybe? We've been sitting outside since 7:00am (it should open at 5:30am?), and there have been numerous signs added to the glass door. First sign on the door was that they were opened 8am - 2pm (6/7, which is yesterday). When an employee showed up a new sign was added that said the new hours for the day (6/8) are 8am - 12pm. Well, they've since updated the sign to say "CLOSED TODAY." and why, you might ask, because they're cleaning today. The strange thing is...this location is drive through only, so I'm not sure what needs to be cleaned since no one has been inside this location for months. That being said, the trash outside is so full that there's trash on the outdoor tables. And I've seen about 10 cars come to this location in the past hour. read more

Each of the two times I have visited this Starbucks (on my way out of visiting the National Park) the line has been incredibly long and all the way out into the road. It is by a highway so I don't want to just blame the workers but the line was ridiculously slow and whenever I think of my slowest food wait I think of this place. Do not come here if you are in a time crunch or don't want to get extremely bored. The line was messy, there were cars cutting each other coming from different directions even though there are cones. They put us on hold when at the speaker. The only other Starbucks I saw that was close is in a Kroger up the street and it would be worth it just to go inside, probably would save you half an hour. Continual price hikes make this The impossible option except for the rare happy hour - which happened during my Smokies trip, got two venti fruit drinks, Violet and Guava. Super tasty and easy to drink however wish for reduced sweet options so I don't induce a diabetic coma before finishing one off. Staff here was a breath of fresh air from the nonsense of busy tourists outside, super friendly and happy to bring my mobile order right to me as I walked up to the counter. Now I understand it's a tourist town and things get busy. However, we went here as a walk in order. We weren't in the drive through nor did we use the mobile app. After we ordered we then found out the crowd of people inside, I'd estimate 30-35 people, had been waiting for their drinks for almost an hour. And we informed by customers not the staff. No one inside was getting their drinks made. The only people getting their orders were the drive through customers and the mobile pickup customers. Hey! I've been a Starbucks partner for two years so I know a thing or two about a store in a big rush. I understand how frustrating it can be to be backed up. I understand believe me, I work mornings in a tourist location. But we ordered ahead of time and waited a full hour after getting to the store, we were ab to make a 7 hour drive so this was a big push back. Majority of the workers were not helpful. One girl was in particular, she was on cold bar and was kind. The guy who switched onto hot bar (mobile) was quite rude to us. There was 0 urgency in any of the workers . They were not trying to catch up. The guy on hot bar was hot cycling his drinks therefore stalling more time. There was a large crowd, I get it, but management at this store, there are things you can do to improve this!!! Ppl cannot be waiting that long for a coffee. Even Dunkin is faster at this point. I saw drinks being made wrong, hair not tied up, employees out of dress code, shots dying, incorrect steaming measures, ect. I'm sure the employees were stressed but please teach them how to cycle their drinks, it will help them out in the long run. Staff more ppl if you can (I know that can be hard). Make sure to give breaks so your baristas don't get tired. Teach them urgency in a big rush like that. They are capable of doing it, I promise! read more

What can I say? This is my chain and I have been lucky to only find 2 locations I'm not too sure about. This place met my expectations and then some. It is always nice when you can get your coffee as fast as you order it. Therefore the search for another Starbucks continues. I ordered my usual white chocolate mocha and a cookie on the side. Drink was usual very good, very expensive frappachino that I did finally enjoy! It took over an hour even with mobile order and everyone else was at least that. Employees were very rude and making drinks sitting them on back counter not checking if people were there and then moving on to next drink there was over 2 dozen drinks sitting then they would just throw out older ones for the new ones due to lack of space. Only one person making drinks for walk in customers (not his fault). Took 25 min to get two drinks! A young lady asked me what my order was, looked at the drinks in line, told me that mine was in line and made the drink of the person who came in way after me. I walked into this one (I am from out of town) and no one greeted me. 7 employees stared at me and 3 other customer behind me for 5 minutes before they even took our order. Good evening Yelpers. It's been awhile. Well, I decided to take a trip to good ole TN. My family and I reacted a cabin for a week. BEAUTIFUL!! But enough about that. Let's talk about why I am yelping right now. This is a nice, big, and clean Starbucks. Customer service. I waited in line for 15 minuets before I even got to the cashier. There were a total of 4 workers. One at the Drive through, one at the front cash register, one doing pick up orders, and a manager who was stocking . Then when I got to the cashier, Michael, yawned in my face while taking my order. And then did not even ask me my name rather every customer after me was asked to give a name. He didn't even say thank you or would you like your receipt.
