I remember why I stopped coming to this one.... I always mobile order on the way and try to time it based on the estimate given. My order is a pretty simple iced almond milk latte. Easy peasy. I'm not sure what was happening but the order was accepted and drinks were being made and then everyone just sort of started doing other things like filling ice and washing things up. No one will look you in the eye so you wait patiently. It would be cool to have some sort of indication that they at least acknowledge you have an order in and they are aware it needs to be made. Creative ideas welcome. Eventually clean up stopped and they resumed making drinks. Drink was accurate and tasted good tho, so that's the 3 read more

I've ordered from this Starbucks many times through the app and never had issues. The drinks are prepared quickly and ready for me when I walk in to pick it up. Today, I ordered an iced coffee with vanilla cold foam and it is what great. I also stayed and worked for a while here. There are lots of good seating options and there are many outlets too which is very helpful! There's some nice artwork up on the walls and a selection of merchandise. read more

I really keep going to this location because of how close it is leaving home headed to work. But i also pass human bean which is where i have to fix the constant mistakes. Love to try the new drinks... but i did come for coffee so adding 4 shots and paying the 5 dollar up charge plus tipping two dollar makes for a 12 dollar coffee that really has no coffee at all! So beyoooond over this location !! wake up !! If' patrons are making this one of the first stops of the day and it's unpleasant we will eventually just stop coming all together. They literally just didn't add expresso. I've gotten it once a few days ago and it was layered the matcha expresso and then lavender crème and this time it was just left out probably because the baristas inexperience but the consumer drives all the way to work and i had began gathering my items to get out of my car before i realized. I never did order a drink She just stood there looking at me washing dishes and when I asked about the restroom she told me it was for customers. Only. Understandable. This place is such a nice experience especially compared to most Starbucks I visit around the country, unfortunately. First of all, it is clean! I've been to so many locations even right when they open and they are dirty and trash cans full, etc. This location even has a couple big comfy leather chairs still!! So many locations just have hard chairs or stools at tables. This location has a great lay out with the drive through drink making station separate from the one for in store drinks. Lastly, it's here where I consistently got a perfect flat white while I was in the area for a few days. This morning I went to Starbucks on 28th St & Indian School Rd. I ordered my $6.84 Chia Tea Latte, I ordered it with 1/2 Soy Milk and 1/2 Coconut Milk. 1. employee put Oatmilk in Lieu of Soymilk. 2. i informed the young man that it is suppose to be 1/2 Soy and 1/2 Coconut milk, just pour both in the tin steaming cup and heat, then just pour it in cup with the Chia. 3. Male employee proceeds to inform me he doesn't do it that way, WTF, I am the customer paying for a $6.84 drink and it is only going to get don't the way the employee wants to do it. UGH!!!! ***Hey you social media brain male employee , I want my Drink the way I get it "My Way"*** I threw the $6.84 drink into the trash and left, that was expensive. I drove to another Starbucks and ordered my $6.84 Chia Tea Latte and paid again...ugh! I usually stop at this Starbucks when I'm in the area. They have a drive thru. They also have a huge area to sit inside. They even have 3 personal sofas. They even have a room to have meetings in and you can close the door. I never saw this at any other Starbucks. They have different drinks from coffee to teas to frappacinos. My favorite is the caramel frappacino & the iced white chocolate mocha is good. Also my favorite is the cheese danish. You can download the app and get points when you buy from Starbucks. Once you get 125 points you get a free drink/food item. Also there's special offers when your a Starbucks member. You also get a free birthday drink or food. Also you can order on your phone and it will be ready by the time you get to the store to pick it up, it's called mobile order. I love this feature so I don't wait forever in line and I'm in a rush. read more

Generally speaking, I always have a pleasant experience with any Starbucks I go to. However, the one located on 28th St and Indian School might be my favorite location. It has the perfect setup for a work/study environment. They have areas with outlets that are perfect for laptop carriers such as myself and a large conference room for any group of people that require privacy. I quickly got my caramel iced coffee and got right back into work. Starbucks usually has a quiet surrounding and as such, I was able to work without any outside distractions. And being that I am a Starbucks Rewards member, I was able to get my refill and finish the rest of my work before I went home. Whether it be a quick drive-thru stop to grab coffee or a multi-hour stay to finish up on tasks, this Starbucks is perfect for a visit! read more

Twice at different days and times tried to order through the drive thru but had the sign blocking it saying sorry the drive thru is closed today! Now I'm here today sitting in lobby and it's packed but an employee comes around saying "sorry we are closing our lobby in 15 minutes". Seems like they make their own hours/rules than what is posted. Very inconvenient for those of us that have planned to do work/study for a few hours while enjoying coffee and snacks. Won't be coming to this location again due to the inconveniences. I was so disappointed with my service :( I walked in & was greeted by no one. However, when the next customers walked in behind me, everyone greeted them with excitement! They got my banana bread ready right away; however, my drink took about 10 minutes. They kept asking me if I had a mobile order (even though I had just placed my order at the counter). I felt very neglected and sad that no one seemed to care I was there. I'm not one to complain, but I am used to way more welcoming service from Starbucks. read more

The culture at this Starbucks is abysmal. The majority of the employees are exceptionally rude. I've gone to this location about three times a week for the past year because it's convenient and I tolerate the attitudes of the employees because of that convenience. Unfortunately for me, the benefits of convenience no longer outweigh the irritation of consistently being treated rudely. You can feel the tension and agitation from the employees when you simply ask for a straw. The employees frequently get behind and lose orders, which isn't a big deal, but the way they take out their stress and frustration on the guest is. I'm not one to complain. I've been in hospitality for the majority of my career and completely understand being busy/how stressful guest facing interactions can be. I would NEVER treat a guest the way that they treat you here. At this point, it's on the management team for cultivating this hostile environment and allowing it to continue every day. read more

We have been in a lot of Starbucks locations all over. This particular one has a very unique store layout as it is on a corner and is in an L inside. Last night when we were here we wondered what the building was prior to becoming a Starbucks. Today we are in again. It is a very comfortable environment with lots of parking. Her customer service is phenomenal, and you can tell she has pride in herself and knows her regulars! I usually don't go to Starbucks, but since I live near here I may as well stop In time to time hoping Sydney is working. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for nearly 20 years. I get a drink from a Starbucks on average six times a week so I understand, by number of visits alone, I am going to have bad service days. However, THIS location can not put two consecutive decent experiences together in a row. The amount of employees standing around NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING customers is unacceptable. My mobile order is nearly never ready on time. I use this location once a week out of geographic convenience. Due to lack of service I now go out of my way to find another location. Once I ordered (and paid for) a Venti drink and was given a grande. I went to the counter to show the employee the mistake and the manager asked me if I wanted them to remake one in a venti. Being that I paid for a venti, yes please... was that really your question? I had one good experience here and it was in the drive thru. I really like this Starbucks. Instead of the understaffing problem you find at some other Starbucks locations, this Starbucks is almost always fully staffed, at least whenever I go, likely the result of a higher than normal sales volume given its central location. No pun intended. This means a higher service delivery to customers and great response time to go with it. To give you an idea, only a mere few weeks after the "Toasted coconut cold brew" special was released for the summer, this location ran out, even of backstock volume for the entire season. THAT'S how busy this place is! (Fear not by the way, the baristas have fantastic recommendations for when they're out of stock on a flavor, again, they REALLY ensure customer satisfaction big time at this particular Starbucks). The drinks I order vary, but again, I've never been dissatisfied. The number of AC power outlets here, good god there's plenty go with! So it's great for those of us working professionals that need a place other than home and work to study or do other stuff. Not to mention the separate conference room that you can rent out or chill in when it's not reserved. Internet is fast. Central Phoenix is one of the few places that offers fiber internet, and while their wireless router doesn't support 1000 Mbps per connection, I'll take its existing 150-300 Mbps that I currently get there, it sure as hell beats the under-50 Mbps connections I've seen in other parts of metropolitan Phoenix (I'm looking at you, Scottsdale and Mesa...) For those of you that like to work outside but hate the heat, fear not! There are misters that mist the entire patio area of the Starbucks. Also, there is a drive thru at this location, so for those of you on the go, you have that option here :) Only negative I can give this place, and isn't really specifically for the business itself, is the shopping center it's in. The Starbucks shares the same parking lot as a very busy Sprouts store, so when double ad Wednesday strikes at the nearby Sprouts, parking gets slammed at Starbucks fast. Since the parking spots at Starbucks aren't labeled "Starbucks customer only", you end up having Sprouts customers parking nearby which vampire-drains the Starbucks. I would order my drink 15-20 MINUTES ahead so by the time i would get there it would be ready but it would never be ready and there would be a whole line of people in front of me waiting for their orders. This is my usual Starbucks and I fruequent it almost every day. I'll place a mobile order when I leave my workout class and then pull into the Starbucks a few minutes later. My order is always ready and waiting. They have plenty of seating including a large patio area. The drive thru line is always long in the morning but moves quickly. This is one of the few Starbucks to have a meeting room. It seats 8 and can be reserved. I love the staff at this location and I'm happy that it's my closest Starbucks! read more

I tried to surprise my hubby who serves for the Marine Corps for his 245th marine birthday and asked if they could put on the cup "happy 245th birthday Marine" & instead "I got "happy birthday Mari" & the 245 was on top of that? Then I asked for a sharpie so I can do it myself, no sharpies, fine. So I asked if they could fix the error and instead the girl just grabbed a piece of paper and wrote "Marine" on it. My "frap" had NO FLAVOR and I told the cashier that I wasn't satisfied with it. And she was like okay. and ? She had a rude attitude and didn't try anything to make the situation right.
