What can I say? Starbucks is Starbucks. If you've been to one, you've pretty much been to them all, right?
They did major renovations at this location about a year or two ago. They are still small, but they've used their space a lot better. There are some couch seats now. They have a mix of regular height tables and high tables. They also have some seating looking onto where they make the drinks (like bar seating). In the summer, they have outdoor seating, which is quite popular.
Staff at this location are really nice and competent. All locations tend to have nice friendly staff, but some locations seem to always be training someone and always have new staff who don't quite know what they are doing. This location is not like that.
I think Starbucks in general is way overpriced for everything except regular coffee. I mean $8 for a small pre-packaged sandwich? And $10 for a tiny pre-made salad? If I'm paying those prices, I expect it made fresh to order! I only get these things with the Starbucks Rewards, I wouldn't actually pay for them. Especially considering that the taste is just acceptable, nothing outstanding.
I do like their Frappucinos though and I love the fact that you can customize your drink.
There is a parking lot behind the Starbucks that is shared with the Pharmasave, it used to be free parking, but I think people abused it by parking there and then going shopping elsewhere, so it is now a paid parking lot. There is street parking in front and nearby though. read more
