I am a huge Starbucks fan. It is hard for me not to stop by a Starbucks whenever there is one near. The coffee is reliable, consistent, and what I consider fair priced. Unfortunately, there are a few issues with this location that can be worked out with a little extra attention from management. This location is located in the middle of Hwy 200 and receives several visitors and is regularly packed. I am excited that the location does well, but the layout of the drive-thru and parking lot make it difficult to access. If you want to swing through for a coffee before a meeting you better leave with ~30-45 minutes to spare. The staff turnover rate is unreal. Week to week you will see new team members working. They are all extremely nice, but there have been issues with the inconsistency of the product. I became a big fan of the Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew (I know it is a mouthful) when it released. I would order this drink on a regular basis (every other day) and I would receive a different tasting drink every time. I even received one with Whipped Cream in place of the Cold Foam! I have been a Starbucks customer for about 20 years now. I have bought my coffee on a regular basis in Miami and now Ocala and points in between and this is the very best Starbucks ever. The Staff at this Starbucks on College Road and 46th are the nicest staff I have ever encountered, and they get my order right every time. I cannot say enough good things about this store, and I felt it was about time I said so. The store is always clean if you want to go in. I usually drive through and yes there are long lines at times, but they move the line very well. This Starbucks gets a 5 start rating from me and if I could give them more I would. read more

THIS STARBUCKS SCAMS!! Only thing nice I can say is the worker I spoke with. I wanted a remake since the drink i ordered and had bought was 2 venti mocha cookie crumbles, but was given a small size. My girlfriend was the one that noticed this. They didn't give me a receipt either, and was rushed out of the drive thru line. Not sure of her name but she had lighter hair with glasses, maybe 22-24 y/o When i came back in to ask for the remake, the worker talked to the manager and she couldn't even bother looking at me or talking to me herself instead of her worker. Was told all they can do is give a card for the inconvienence, no remake or refund. Low priority on customer service from the manager, coming from one myself. I hate to give it a 2. They really are just overwhelmed at this location. We went there 3 times during our stay. The first time we did the drive through line and waited a long time to get up to the window and order (maybe 20 minutes or more?). The second time we tried drive through - the line was obstructing traffic and wasn't moving at all. We had to give up. There was no parking to go inside to order. The 3rd time - the line was just as bad but I was able to find parking. We went in and ordered. Again the wait was at least 20 or 30 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. They had 7 people working behind the counter, but the volume is just higher than they can handle, at least in a timely fashion. On the plus side though - the food was correct as were our drinks and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. Under so much pressure and orders, they were still smiling and doing a good job. I give the staff 5 stars! We were visiting from out of town and we frequent busy Starbucks near home regularly. This one just has a lot of volume for the drive through capacity and limited parking for the overflow. I would try again if I was in the area, depending on the lines. read more

I waited inside this Starbucks for 15 minutes, 10 minutes past when my order was ready. I ordered for in store pickup and they had my order in the drive through window. Only when I asked for my coffee did the employee say I should have asked because they had it at the drive up window. He was no very pleasant and my coffee was cold by this time and he didn't offer to make another. Terrible service for a waste of six dollars and 20 minutes of my time. Pretty much one of the nicest Starbucks locations I have been to. Not much going on here in Ocala, and I was on the way back from my parents house after dinner, so I dropped in for a cup of coffee. I was kind of impressed. This Starbucks has a drive through. The inside is very clean and organized. The whole place looks brand new. Even the bathroom was sparkling clean. The inside seating area has a very warm coffee house appeal to it with a mix of couches and chairs, pictures and mirrors on the walls, and subdued lamp lighting. Cool oldies and bluesy tunes play over the speakers. Lots of the usual Starbucks merchandise on hand to purchase. The one real nice thing they have going for this location is the outside seating on the large patio in front of it that houses about ten tables with plenty of chairs all around. It was really enjoyable to sit outside on a beautiful night with a sky full of stars overhead while sipping my iced coffee. Friendly baristas, quick service, and free wifi. Open until 11PM. What more could you ask for? read more

I know a lot of people have issues with chains, but the point of a chain is that you know what to expect. On a 10 hour drive home with the husband, I expected a decent latte and some delicious bacon and and gruyere egg bites, which are my new favorite thing on the Starbucks menu. However, when I asked for 3 orders of the bacon egg bites (to share with the husband), the cashier informed me that they were out. I asked what other kinds they had and ended up with 1 red pepper and egg white and 2 chicken chorizo. I also pointed out to the cashier that all 3 kinds were on display in their case and that they should probably remove the ones they were out of. Once we got our egg bites, I took one bite of the chorizo and realized that it was too spicy (yes, chorizo, but I'd hoped to be able to tolerate it), had something dried out on top (apparently tortilla strips, ew), and overall tasted mealy. I actually went back inside and returned the other order of chorizo, which they promptly refunded me cash for, but there went the breakfast I was so excited about. The red pepper and egg white ones were edible, but super boring, so I lived with those. Also, the women's restroom was out of toilet paper. I get that they were relatively busy, but the level of care was just not there. What I expected to be a ten minute stop to grab a quick breakfast to go turned into a real pain in the butt. Slowest Starbucks I've ever visited. Literally ordered a dark coffee with almond milk. Nothing fancy. One other customer. We were not greeted at the window as we pulled up. Yeah, I know...I review a lot of coffee shops, but wouldn't you like to know if the place you're about to walk into is worth your time and money?? When I was down visiting my parents recently I SOOOO needed some caffeine and I wasn't in the mood for Dunkin. Thankfully, we came upon this Starbucks. Even though they do have a drive through I ran inside (didn't know the place well and didn't want to drive away and have the wrong drink). Slow like hell, for all fairness it was 1/1/2020, so I'm sure they were short staffed but it's corporate responsibility to staff based on previous years crowds, the staff seemed stressed. The customer service from the employee's is wonderful even though they're so busy and trying so hard. The one star is due to the horrible Store Manager they have. I believe her name was Jamie. She was very rude to one of her employee's due to him apparently not getting drinks out fast enough even though they were so busy. They move the drive-thru line quickly and the drinks are consistent -- I never have to worry about ordering my usual go-to drink and having it taste different. They are so friendly. It's Christmas Day and there's 9 employees behind the counter. It seems chaotic because there about 12 people waiting on drinks and the employees are tripping all over each other and barely getting the drinks out. We waited 12 min for our drinks and one was wrong. When it was pointed out, the girl behind the counter corrected it but didn't leave out her attitude. This has got to be one of the dirtiest Starbucks we have ever been to. Almost every time we go inside (vs. using the drive thru) the personal prep table (where you get napkins, etc) is filthy & in disarray. You don't want to look at the floor and countertops behind the counters. read more

I was not impressed with this visit this time... The reason I was not impressed was because the people at the window do not give you any attention or greets you at all whatsoever. As a matter fact the only time that they reach you is when they go to give you your coffee at the very end and when they expect to get a tip. I find that a little rude. They leave the window open and when you have employees that are having a bad day you can hear everything going on and I really don't need to hear everything going on. read more

A fine coffee shop, indeed. I patronized this Starbucks while in the area, and my experience couldn't have been better. The staff I interacted with were friendly, and fast with my drink. Likewise, the restaurant itself was comfy and enjoyable, both on the sunny patio and in the spacious dining room (loved the comfy leather chairs, particularly). I broke out a packed lunch, and sipped good beverages while reading a good book and watching the world go by -- wonderful! I had no problems at this Starbucks, and would gladly return. 2 stars only bc the baristas were nice and my daughter's cake pop was good. We ordered two easy beverages...blonde americano w/cream and a skinny vanilla latte. They both are awful. The americano is not hot and the latte is just gross. It doesn't even smell like a normal latte. read more

Convenient location to traveling up and down I 75. They have coffee pastries etc. The parking lot is a little crowded, but usually you can find a parking space. There's also some outdoor seating at this location. read more

Awful service! Waited 30 minutes in the drive-through. Once I got to the window, the barista only cared about conversation with her coworker rather than paying attention to us and exemplifying great customer service. It's disappointing to go to Starbucks and wait that long only to get crappy service. She was very aggressive about handing over the coffee for no reason. Several of the drinks which were simple Americano and espresso's were awful to taste. They ended up getting thrown away immediately. The drinks were only filled up halfway with half of the other cup being foam. I would highly not recommend the Starbucks. I do believe that the staffing should be changed. It seems like a bunch of college students who do not care about providing good service and doing their job. They seem much more interested in their conversation with each other and moving so slow rather than living up to the standards and expectations in which Starbucks usually delivers in other locations.
