No seating available - just a register to order, counter, pick-up area, and merchandise section. They only operate as a grab-and-go. I can see it being cramped during rush hours in the morning... luckily I came by on a weekday afternoon and was the only one there. Rook prides itself on having a small and simple menu. They only sell hot pour-over single origin coffee and cold brew. They picked a few things to perfect and do really well. So for espresso lovers, you're out of luck. BUT don't let that steer you away because their drinks are phenomenal. They use high quality, premium beans. The employee was extremely helpful with guiding me through the menu and giving me recommendations. I love that milks and sweeteners are available at no additional charge! They also have decaf and half caf options. I ordered a Vanilla Cold Brew (regular size $5.50) with milk and sugar. And let me tell you... it was love at first sip! It was probably the best cold brew I've ever had. Super smooth, rich, and creamy. The vanilla flavor wasn't overpowering and added just the right amount of sweetness. I definitely understand why so many people love their coffee. I wish there were more locations closer to North Jersey because I can see myself becoming a regular. The food options are pretty varied and menu has everything you could want: savory, sweet, healthy, or chocolatey. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Depending on your timing, there can be long lines, but you can text your order in ahead of time and just pickup to pay when you arrive. They also have a loyalty account system which allows you to pre-load an account and not worry about bringing your wallet every time. The strawberries were beautiful and delicious! Today we returned to purchase a tsunami cake. Ours was vanilla cake (like a tres leche) with pineapple, strawberry, and dulce de leche. It has an acetate wrapper and the top is filled with milk chocolate and sweetened condensed milk icing that pours down the cake when you life off the acetate. The cake was an absolute show stopper. So much fun and decadent! We all crowded around to watch the chocolate pour down the sides. So not only does Kelly's have beautiful, delicious food, but the shop is clean and cute. The lady working at the counter when we've been in is sweet and friendly and is able to multitask very well. I hope Kelly's sticks around for a while so we can continue to stop in!
