I stopped by this Starbucks on a snowy morning. The staff was bright and cheery, which was much appreciated. Lately, I've been getting the holiday menu Peppermint Mocha. It's not on their regular menu, but they will make it year round. This location's version was every bit as delicious as I've come to expect. 3 strikes your out. They canceled one of my online orders and I still paid for it. I waited 30minutes for a coffee and the employees were just talking. Only one person there knows what their doing. And the third I ordered in person and they lost my tag so they didn't make my drink. I had to ask them for my drink and they had to reason me What I ordered. Everyone at Starbucks is always so nice. Girl with glasses working register was not. July 30th around 11:20 am. I pulled up and I had to say hi to her first which is odd. This Starbucks is ridiculous. Last week they gave me the wrong size drink and I payed for the larger drink. Then this week I go today at 10am and they are closed. Every time I go it gets worse. A week or two ago as I was drinking my Carmel macchiato I found a string in my cup (maybe from a tea bag or clothing)? Today I mobile ordered a mocha and they gave me a latte. So not only am I getting the wrong drink half the time, I'm getting fun surprises in them as well. I won't be back anymore I'll take the extra 15 minute drive to beck road cause these drinks aren't cheap I only get them as a treat every once in a while and they keep messing up and I'm tired of it. I'm afraid to drink anything now cause I have to get oat milk or almond milk and I can't trust that they can read a label cause obviously they don't to begin with. read more

15 Aug- this location is closed and has been for weeks with nothing posted indicating any hours or when it's expected to be open. It's not the most convenient location so pulling in only to find it closed is very annoying. read more

Of course I love Starbucks but this one is always SO busy in the morning; it's also not as convenient to get to being tucked away in the shopping center which makes online ordering/pick-up more of a headache than at other locations. My other #firstworldproblem is that they don't put a stopper in the online order coffee; it just seems like something that would be done by default since they don't know how long it'd be until the person go there to pick it up. I wish there was a way to request one through the app if it's not standard practice. read more

Update: 7/20/2018 In the past two months, the coffee quality/consistency has improved dramatically. This particular location has made its way back up to second on my list of favorite Starbucks locations. In certain drinks like the salted caramel Coldform cascara cold brew, this location ranks number one. I hope they keep it up because it's the easiest location for me to visit! The Starbucks has been a long time favorite of mine over the past eight years. The people that work there have always been incredibly friendly in the coffee has always been one of the best out of all the Starbucks I have been to. However, over the past six months or so there is been a dramatic decline in quality of beverage. Occasionally I will go there and my drink will be really good and when I looked behind the bar I noticed that it's one of the old baristas that made that coffee. I'm not sure how the new guys are being trained but there is a very obvious difference between the abilities of the people I have gotten great coffee from over the past eight years in the people who have been trained in the past year or so. It's tough to continue wanting to go back to this Starbucks when there's a 50-50 chance I will enjoy the beverage. I hope I will get to amend this review in the up-and-coming months because the Starbucks has so many great memories for me. read more

Ordered a large very berry hibiscus as per usual and instead of the typical handful of blackberries in the drink and a deep reddish-purple tint the drink I received was pinkish as if it had been watered down halfway, and had the reminisce of no more than 2 blackberries. And furthermore the store was out of both their nitro cold brew and regular cold brew at 3pm (both staples at the franchise nationwide) which has seemed to become a pattern at this location. read more

The food​ display case is swarming with flies. Multiple visits. Staff thinks is normal because they clean it every day and the sugar attracts them. Panera and Dunkin have similar sugary pastries​ and I never see flies on their display food? "We're doing everything we can." Perhaps you need some tips from the Michigan Health Department, I'll see if can arrange a visit. If the front of the shop is this bad, imagine​ the back of the ​shop. Despite being weirdly dark inside, this is probably my favorite strip-mall Starbucks. And that's not just because they replaced my dropped drink for free (despite several offers to pay for a replacement). The interior is a bit more unique than I'm used to seeing in different locations in the region, and they always seem well-staffed. By and large the employees seem happy to be there, which is a plus. Since moving to the area about 9 months ago, I've been to this Starbucks plenty of times (usually 1-2 times per week), and I've yet to have a bad experience. All of the baristas are so friendly and helpful. My order has always been correct and they move quickly in the drive thru and in the store. We just moved to Milford, and on my quest for a Starbucks by way of new route to work, I accidentally sent my phone/online order to the wrong Starbucks (yahoo for having two in my new town). The people SUPER early in the morning at Lyon Center location could not have been cooler. They even let me have my drink for free since my account was already charged at other location. For the prices Starbucks charges you'd think they could afford a sign to let customers know they are closed for renovation. Not even a sign on their drive through sign. I was in the store one week prior and there was no signage or communication announcing the store would be closed.
