EE is such a cute tiny coffee shop that offers plenty of seating (inside and out). This might be the smallest coffee shop I've been in but the staff and flavors of the drinks are so memorable! Since it was later in the day, I decided to get the island Matcha, which was full of flavor, yet so light. I would highly recommend this drink if you want a non coffee option. The parking lot is small, but there is street parking if you can't find a spot. This is a great place to start your day or walk over after doing some shopping/grabbing lunch. read more

I was visiting the Plymouth area and popped in for a caffeine fix. The vanilla lavender latte was delicious! The cafe had a cute ambiance with a couple of seating options but it can be a bit cramped. All the seats were full when I ordered so it resulted in a bit of an awkward not knowing to stand so I wasn't in everyone's way while waiting for my order. I stopped in here for a coffee before a visit to the spa down the street. Though I had been here many times when I lived in Plymouth, it was fun seeing this with outsider eyes. They've added online ordering and self-service pick up. They had a steady stream of regulars (knowing their orders) and others who had to peruse their menu. I enjoyed a creative and surprisingly good coconut-lemongrass latte. Yes, a coconut-lemongrass latte. I ordered it for the sheer novelty, and it was delicious. I had a hot and the flavors softened the steamed milk without making it too sweet. I'm curious how it would have been iced. They have a few covered tables outside, and a few more inside, but not a lot of seating space. It's a tiny yet mighty community hub with great service (I saw one of their staff tell a customer she made a mistake on his order and that it would be a few more minutes). The staff seems to work together well, each with assigned tasks, but supporting one another depending on who was busiest. They did a lot of throughput in the 20 or so minutes I sat inside, and they did it in a friendly, graceful way. read more

So glad my friend and I swung through this cute little coffee shop! I had the most amazing light roast Colombia iced pour over. The roaster was on register and he kindly explained a little of the process and I was so intrigued. It was a fun fruit-forward flavor that I absolutely loved! The baked goods were great too from their little bakery case by the register - I tried a chocolate chip cookie and a rosemary white chocolate scone. The cafe is small so not ideal for large groups looking to hang out for long but there are a number of two top tables for catch ups. They sell their beans and have a small merch table as well. For years I have loved this coffee shop and although I don't frequent it as much as I would like, it's the place that tells me I'm home. Even if I try a new coffee drink. Rarely does it disappoint. Very cute coffee shop in downtown Plymouth! The selection and coffee was okay. I liked the Creamsicle Mocha but the buttery latte was so-so. The cookies & cream scone was delicious. Everyone was very nice. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy coffee. It's a lovely place but with limited ability to customize, especially for sugar free. They only have Stevia/Monkfruit vanilla syrup, and the only suggestion they had for how to use it was a Vanilla Latte, that was it. The Vanilla Latte was okay, but I would have liked more options. Calling to talk to the manager and making suggestions for sugar-free options made her defensive, especially when I said "they can do that no problem at Starbucks." I tried to say it gently, but there is no way to sugarcoat that. Her reply, "we need to run our business how we see fit and you get to choose where you take your business" was a bit rude, but I imagine they get a lot of people making the Starbucks comparison and that is probably annoying. It's sad because I would much rather give my business to Espresso Elevado, but unfortunately they don't have the ability to make my two favorites sugar free [Chai latte and London Fog tea latte], whereas Starbucks does. They also do not have any other sugar-free options that appeal to me, unfortunately. I need to reduce my sugar intake for health reasons, as do a whole lot of others. Today, I tried the a Winter Warmer coffee drink called Buttery Sea Salt. It advertised salted butterscotch syrup and steamed milk. I ordered it as a cappuccino, and over all, I was pleased with the drink. The butterscotch flavor came through, without being overly sweet the way a Starbucks drink would be. Cons--one size only. My partner said the artisanal cold brew was ok but he prefers regular iced coffee. Cons--one size only. COVID-- couldn't go in the store, so we had to wait for the order in the heat and not all of their tables are covered, so we had to wait until a shaded table became available. Just moved into the neighborhood and this adorable place is just a 5 minute walk away so I was excited to try it! Walking by it smells amazing. I loved that I could browse their menu online, order, then walk over to pick it up. My order was ready fairly quickly and ahead of schedule. I picked up the Campfire latte which came with a little roasted marshmallow and the chai spice biscotti. The biscotti was a good size, slightly soft and crumbly, and delicious! My latte was nice and hot and had a yummy marshmallow flavor to it. I enjoyed the chocolate milk with the latte but I'll be looking forward to trying out some other flavors soon! read more

I was meeting someone for a chat session in Plymouth and had never been here but had book marked it so I knew exactly where to go when they suggested Plymouth, Thanks Yelp app!! I parked a block or so away in the public parking area which is 8 hours of free parking, a nice feature anytime you're visiting a downtown. This place is small and charming, they have one large community table a few cushioned chairs, two small tables and two or three small high legged tables (all tables other than the community one are two seaters). It's not a place you can come with a large group but if it's just you or you plus one it's nice and cozy. I ordered the small caramelo, it was lite and yet flavorful. I come to this coffee shop quite often and on my recent visit I asked the young lady working there if she could add honey into my tea. The girl did not answer but turned around and rolled her eyes. so I asked another young lady working there if she could and she did it with no problem. As I was leaving the coffee shop the girl began to talk about me to the other workers there. I would have to say in all this young lady is always very rude not friendly and talks about customers to workers every time I am in. This little gem has been on my bucket list to try... it did not disappoint! With Covid restrictions, its best to order online and then walk/drive over there. As a first timer, I didn't know that was an option until we got there. My hubs and I wanted over and learned the process on the fly. We scanned the QR code and voila! I was surprised by the 20 mins wait, which is noted when you order (wait can be up to 45 mins on the weekend). That was the only downside for me since we walked over and it was super cold out. I do love that after paying it will give you an estimated time on when your order will be ready. It's estimated, so remember how busy they get! Our took a bit longer. We ordered the cinnamon honey latte and the chocolate latte both hot. I was taken back at the flavors and how yummy both drinks were. For a coffee snob like myself, I could really taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. However the last time I was there I asked for whip cream (as I usually do everywhere I go) however when I got my coffee I did not get whip cream... I told them that I asked for whip and they told me they don't put whip cream because they don't come w it and they don't have lids for it ...... which is the first time I heard that, past time they just add some whip cream that way I can just use the flat lid. I wish I still drank coffee but I gave it up. Still I was cold and just felt like a hot chocolate so I can only speak to that. As hot chocolate goes, it was delicious! There's always the hot chocolate trap of too sweet- you can feel yourself creeping closer to diabetes with every sip. Not so here. It was a tasty treat, and I didn't feel overwhelmed when I finished it. I would definitely come back here again. Stopped in here on a Saturday morning after my haircut. Having heard thing but great things from many people, I wasn't surprised to see the line was out the door. However, it didn't take more than a few minutes to place my order. I was told it'd take about 10 mins which was accurate. (I don't mind waiting if I know how long and it's worth it!) I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the coconut lemongrass which is tasty (~$6). Bonus-While I waited I found the only empty table tucked in the corner and was joined by another lady waiting for her coffee. Had a nice 10 min conversation with her and went on my way with my warm coffee on a cool fall morning. Only downside-space is tight & limited seating. As somebody who is always trying to find the cheap route and usually brews coffee at home instead of buying it on the run, believe me when I say this place is worth going to. It's a tiny bit pricy ($10 for two drinks for us most days) and there's usually a wait, but that's because of the time it takes to expertly brew your favorite beverage, which is always the ideal temperature. Absolutely perfect way to start a lazy weekend day before you run errands or do housework. Probably before work during the week, too, but for me it is a slowly-sip-and-savor type of place. I always look forward to coming here, such a simple pleasure. What initially drove me in to visit this quirky yet sophisticated spot was the variety of drink flavors offered. I get something different every time and have never been disappointed. Lavender, gardenia, curried coconut, and other regulars stay on the menu, and there are always specials too (clove, cayenne, raspberry chocolate have been past flavors). Some are subtle backnotes and others are very bold. There are also many types of brewing available; it's fun to watch the baristas. Not your run of the mill coffee shop. Happened upon this gem while in town for Plymouth festival and another errand. Corner lot location and snug accommodations give way to warm intriguing atmosphere with just enough seating to keep it intimate. Well worth the wait..they roast their own beans AND deliver an artisan rendition of some classic favorites. I tried special version of Cappucino...the Campfire cap comes complete with a toasted marshmallow. I felt like royalty when they delivered a second cup gratis - this time with a beautiful floral image imprinted with cream on the top (see photo). The ginger cookie is a must do if you like ginger snaps. We ordered 2! They were made in house. Chewy with just enough crisp to keep it nice. Lovely ladies gave great service.
