I didn't wan't a big breakfast prior to lunch so I decided to stop by PJ's for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I last visited a PJ's when I was in NOLA last year. This morning I ordered a Turkey sausage with egg and cheese sandwich, on an English Muffin. It was surprisingly good! It's actually better than Starbucks sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. What I loved about it is that the English Muffin was soft and not over baked. Coffee was great. I took it with me and finished it later. I also ordered a cinnamon walnut coffee cake. The coffee cake was a great compliment to the coffee. Staff was friendly here and it didn't take that long to receive my order. If you're looking for lighter breakfast and staying in or around Tillman's Corner, I recommend checking out PJ's. My bill of sale was reasonable priced as well. I'll definitely return here when in Mobile again.

The second experience, I was met with attitude when I asked a question about a menu item - maybe the barista was having a bad day. The final experience occurred when I asked the barista is there an up-charge for syrup on the walls (not all coffee shops charge for this, btw). The barista responds, "No problem I can do that do that for you," and proceeds to make my drink. I look at my receipt and see that there was in fact, a charge for the syrup walls. Now this is a matter of integrity and principle. If there is an up-charge, then be "up-front" about it, especially when asked. Being shady or evasive about pricing a good way to gain loyal customers. Needless to say, this was my final time patronizing this establishment. Poor customer service is not a good look, especially in times of economic posterity. I'll take my money/business elsewhere. If a manager/supervisor actually reads these reviews, I strongly suggest reviewing the importance of pricing transparency and soft skills with staff.

(I'm looking at you, Dauphins) Honestly the best part is ordering from the iPad and have a nice server bring it to your chair without missing the movie. Total for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 sodas, and one dessert was around $160. I'd rather Noja for that! If we came back, it would have to be for a special movie. Watched two very lazy, unmotivated, chatty to each other employees move with the speed of sloths about the kitchen - not really accomplishing anything. When we came in only one other person was in front of us. By the time we got our food easily 15 people were standing around frustrated. Substandard employees with no motivation your customers haven't got the time to tolerate. Hope their pay reflects their terrible job performance.
