Ordered 3 drinks from the app on my way to this Starbucks location. Walked in and waited for them to be done, drip coffee was slid across counter to me by the employee and they spilled very hot coffee everywhere on the counter and cup was soaked. The caramel macchiato and peppermint mocha were finished and not hot at all....not to mention I got to my destination and pulled out the peppermint mocha and it felt light, opened cup and it was HALF EMPTY. Apparently they should have closed this Mobile Starbucks location instead of the one in front of the mall. read more

While I was in Mobile for the weekend this was my go to for caffeine. Overall, it's a Starbucks. Not much really stood out either good or bad. Which is good, b/c that means it's consistent with the brand. They got my order correct each time I visited and that's what counts the most. I'd absolutely swing by again if I'm in the area and need some caffeine. read more

This was a very necessary last stop in Mobile. We had gone to a breakfast joint and the coffee was awful. When we arrived to this location, the drive-thru was packed, so we went inside. Turned out to be a good decision. It was empty in there and we were attended right away. Ordered a white chocolate mocha, tall I believe, and a brownie. As per usual, Starbucks worked out for us all. Helllllllo Egg Nog Latte! Yes, it's that time of year! Order a Grande latte today and get a free reusable cup. The Bux on Government and Catherine is usually very friendly and fast. My order is always on point. My new favorite is the London Fog Latte. So delicious! read more

This Starbucks is the best! Every time I go they satisfy me. Today is my birthday so asked for a inspirational message on my cup and they wrote the sweetest thing! It said "Happy Birthday! Hope all your wishes come true:)". Then to make things even better, they gave me my drink for free!!! How sweet are they! They were so nice to me and every employee in there wished me happy birthday! The drink was delicious! Thank you Starbucks for making this morning special! I highly recommend this Starbucks! I promise they will satisfy you in every category! read more

I had to wait almost 30min for my mobile order. It is absolutely ridiculous. I don't care how short staffed they are, their is no reason why it should take this long. People were coming in after my order picking up their drinks. Please do better!!! read more

I go through the drive-thru EVERY morning. I order the exact same thing. I tip the exact same thing. I get to work and my mocha is not sweet. I took it back and told the girl something was wrong with it. She made me another and gave it to me. I tasted it, and it was the same...terrible. I was very nice and told her that I had been drinking these for many years and I didn't know if it was the cream or mocha itself, but it wasn't sweet. The other girl (which I encountered last week as I had to go inside due to the drive-thru line) was so rude. She said it was made the right way and then I was ignored. I took the nasty 2nd mocha and started to leave. She said rudely...do you want another one and rolled her eyes. I knew I better leave as she would have been fired right there on the spot for treating a customer like that. I left and when I got back to work....I got the danish out of my purse...unfortunately...it was half gone. WTH...did someone half eat my danish? Was this a prank? I'm so angry and my starbucks every morning is now over. To the black girl that treated me like crap...I hope you find a job that makes you happy as you are truly miserable. You have no smile and just anger on your face. To the girl that re-made my drink...I don't know what was going on with you, but I hope you learn better customer service. I wasn't mad and didn't show anger at that point. You didn't seem to care about what I was saying. I know it's busy there, but each customer should be heard. I love this Starbucks and visit it frequently, the staff is amazing and super friendly, everything is delicious. However, it's always out of stock. They will have brand new ads on the board at the drive thru and not even have anything to make it. Very often I go and have to adjust my order to something different based on what they have. read more

For the most part, Starbucks is Starbucks. And most people either love it or hate it. I happen to enjoy it as an occasional treat. What makes a Starbucks special is the staff. This is the newest Starbucks in town. I don't know if they gave them the best staff because they are new, but the people there are so kind and friendly and helpful. Even for Starbucks! The dining room is also a little larger than some of the other local Starbucks, so it is a little more comfortable, if you like your personal space. read more

Why hello Starbucks on Government. I despise ye. I would be happy to be your first review. Normally, I try to avoid Starbucks, but when I am traveling, I know I can get a decent cup of coffee. NOT here, and I have give them several chances. Although not the first time that I have had crappy service, the last time (and I mean last), my interaction went like this: JG: I'll have a grande ice coffee with room and a bagel toasted with cream cheese, orange juice, etc. Barista: Sure thing. (money exchanged) JG: (waits at counter for 5 minutes with bagel) Excuse me, I had an ice coffee as well? Barista: Oh, ok. Ummm, I only have enough iced coffee for half a cup. (she holds the carafe up). JG: Really? Barista: Well, you didn't pay for it (snarky face included free of charge) JG: Yeah, no thanks. I had so many questions. At that total cost, I didn't pay for it? Does she hate me? Was it my northern accent? I ordered it with your special terms? What Starbucks on a Saturday morning only makes 64 ounces of iced coffee? Since then I have found other excellent local options! Try Cream and Sugar in the Garden District or Serda's Downtown. Live and learn. read more

This is the BEST Starbucks in town! Pam is AMAZING! As well as, ALL of her, fellow, friendly staff members! By far the longest I've ever waited on a tea. 10 minutes to be precise! Understaff unorganized and appears to have no consideration for customers as the other Starbucks.... My daughter was treated horribly by a worker at this Starbucks. She ordered and pulled up to get her drink. She goes there often, so she showed her rewards because her drink would be free. The lady in the drivethrough gave her a disgusted look and asked, "what do you want to use it for?" "What are you going to order?? "You didn't order!!" My daughter said I did order and it was on the screen. The lady said, "No you didn't you were too far away from the speaker and said nothing." My daughter said, "It showed up on the screen as a Tuxedo." The lady said, a frappacinio? My daughter said, "yes." The lady said, "oh." The lady then handed her the drink that was sitting right in front of her! Why do people think they can treat teenagers (she's 18) in such a rude manner??? My daughter was smiling and being kind. This woman totally disrespected her. My daughter left crying. Why would she ever want to go back there? I'm so upset!! How absolutely rude and disrespectful! I changed jobs six months ago and this Starbucks (McGowin Park) is the one I use now. However, today was my last. I order the same thing every time with an extra shot and NO FOAM. This same girl up there always adds the foam. When I ask her "no foam"? after she hands it to me, she always says "yes, no foam", yet it's always full of foam. Then, when I show her, she gets a very bad attitude and on remake leaves off the extra shot of espresso that I had to pay extra for in the first place. I called management and they simply say "come get another one". Yet, it continues to happen. If I do ever go back, I will look for her.....if she's there, I will leave. She's definitely in the wrong line of work. read more
