I would say this ranks as one of the better Starbucks as it's bright and sunny which helps make for a better environment. There are 3 tables to sit for 4+ people in addition to many bar seatings that are comfortable and facing the windows. It is SUPER clean here so that just makes it better than most corporate coffee spots. Drink wise, there was a bit of a mix up by the barista but they fixed it quickly and offered the wrong drink for free to try... much appreciated and I got to try the new seasonal Chestnut Praline Latte. Chestnut Praline Latte - This is the whipped cream confection pretending to be a coffee drink... this is dessert in a cup. It is SWEET. For those who like coffee with their sugar, this would be your drink. It does have a caramel flavour which I think is the praline note. The chesnut is pretty obscured. I will admit that the coffee note came through ... pretty good for a seasonal drink 3.5/5 Chestnut Praline Chai latte - This is my drink order and I will admit that this is an interesting take on the usual chai latte I get from Starbucks. It still has the ginger kick of a chai but with the addition of the chestnut praline syrup which is a caramel note. I would probably ask for only half a pump next time as I dont need it TOO sweet. I'm a coffee drinker. I enjoy light to medium roasts with various flavours. The neat thing about the Nespresso pods is many choices are offered; coffees from all over the world, ie. Colombia, Nicaragua, Buenos Aires, etc., plus Barista creations that can be turned into cappuccino and more. Right up my alley :) Every morning I used to start off with a coffee from McDonald's.. since having my own coffee maker, I pour myself a cup, sit back and relax. The aroma of the coffees are delicious. My favourite flavour was part of the limited edition winter collection that included Forest Almond (tastier with milk) and I was so sad to learn that they sold out! Other flavours I also really like are Chiaro, Cocoa Truffle, Caramel Creme Brulee, Vanilla Eclair, Volutto, Forest Black, Scuro, Colombia, Cosi, etc. Having consumed most of my original sleeves, went to the boutique to place an order. The service rep mentioned a gift with purchase on a first-time order of 10 sleeves. As such, I opted for the recycling bin since I go through a lot of pods and have no space left in my cupboard for more cups and saucers. Value wise, their glass drinkware are better. The boutique is quite small though well organised. There are a few counters as you enter with coffee pods on display and further in, the different types of coffee machines and accessories available for purchase. A lovely young lady served me. My order was quite large with the recycling bin added thus an item was missing from my order. Upon return home and making that discovery, I called the number listed and spoke to a representative that ensured the item would be available for collection or could be mailed over. Returned to the store and collected the missing item the following day. They were very apologetic.

They serve a nice selection of coffee which tastes delicious. I appreciate the tempting display of baked goods right by checkout but so far my will has remained intact. How long that will hold up against the idea of banana bread is yet to be seen. What keeps me coming back is the service; smiles all around from the friendly staff from order in to order out, they care about delivering a good cup. I especially like the inquiry whether I want chocolate powder or cinnamon for my order before handing me my coffee. I'll be back many a morning, maybe I'll get myself a treat.

Anyway, after you walk through the main doors of Foody World, you'll find CoCo in the far right corner. It is rare for me to visit a brand new CoCo store. This store is the first one that I have ever visited where it's a part of a grocery store. I got here just before noon. There are grand opening specials. I had a friendly woman help me out with my order. This place, like most CoCo locations, accepts Vicinity points. I entered my phone number and all was great. I ordered a large mango slush. I typically don't add toppings to a slush. There's enough goodness going on in it! It was $4.50 before taxes. I paid $5.10 in total and waited patiently. Since I was the only customer there, my drink was ready faster than my putting my wallet in my purse. I was delighted! The woman asked if I needed a bag. Nah, I was good. I was going to drink it driving back home. She gave me a straw. I thanked her and left. It was my first time having a mango slush from CoCo. It's yummy. How come I never thought about getting one before? Ah, I know why. My favourite drink is the strawberry black tea. I order it so much that I have ignored the rest of the menu! The mango flavour is cheerful and real. It's sunshine in a cup. It's not an overly sweet drink. It's nice on a gloomy, rainy day. I like this CoCo. I understand we can't hear each other clearly with masks and flexiglass so getting the orders wrong is okay. But seriously, rolling eyes and giving that annoyed b**face is not a good customer service. "URGH" is not a good attitude neither - by all means, do that behind but not when we can see you. And after all, she got my drink wrong. To make an accurate direction, it was a #97 order made today. Management should take its role to train their staff with proper service. There were no customers when I came. The place was small but clean and looked cozy. I saw a big variety of pastry and breads in the display case. I ordered "for here" a small coffee (Copenhagen drip blend) and a Danish butterhorn bread pudding. There were 2 baristas. I spoke to them briefly - they were polite. I asked barista about this pastry, she said that it was popular and not sweet - this is what I wanted. I took my order to the table and was sitting on a bar stool, but baristas paid no attention to me. Taste of coffee was OK, but served in a carton cup (they don't have ceramic mugs). My pastry was so cold that the taste was ruined. I left the place disappointed.
