I visited this Starbucks today, and unfortunately it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. The line wasn't even that long, yet I waited over 20 minutes just to order one drink. When I finally got to the speaker, I said, "Hello," and was told, "I'll be right with you." I waited another five minutes before saying "Hello" again, and the employee responded with an attitude, saying, "I said I'll be right with you." When they finally took my order, I mentioned the long wait. I was told the register had been having problems, which I could understand. However, when I got to the window, I politely said, "I apologize if I sounded frustrated, but waiting over 20 minutes for one drink is a little ridiculous." The employee said she understood and agreed, but every time I tried to explain my point, she cut me off. Then another employee said the delay was because a customer wouldn't leave the drive-thru line. While I understand that situations happen, that's not the customers' fault. If someone refuses to move, that situation should be handled without making everyone else wait over 20 minutes for a single drink. Instead of listening to my concerns, they kept repeating the same explanation. As I was still speaking, they closed the drive-thru window in my face, which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. To be clear, I have no complaints about Starbucks' drinks or food--I actually enjoy them. My complaint is entirely about the customer service at this location. The staff handled the situation poorly, communicated poorly, and treated a paying customer disrespectfully. Everyone can have a bad day, but professionalism and basic courtesy still matter. This is, without question, the worst-managed Starbucks I've visited. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers deserve better than this. read more

Came in the evening w/ my bf. I can have coffee anytime I want! Ordered a grande mocha cookie frappe(for my bf),a grande cinnamon dulce iced latte(light milk,extra cinnamon sugar in coffee & on whipped cream),& a warm brownie(for both us). Inside was empty b/c of the time of the day. It was clean,welcoming, & organized. Employee that took my order gave me a hot cinnamon dolce latte. She replaced it right away but forgot I wanted light milk & extra cinnamon sugar in my coffee. I was just over it b/c she had already made a mistake. It could have been the barista though. My drink still tasted good!! I always go to this location. This is the 1st time they messed up my order! I will be back (maybe it was just a bad day for them)! read more

Better. Not great. Just better. This Starbucks is nestled off Exit 39. I wouldn't have found it if the Starbucks on the outpad at the CT Post Mall hadn't closed. Friendly staff, cleaner bathrooms, more teamwork. Fewer sticky tables, water dripping from HVAC in ceiling onto table, trash area full. SBX needs a tune up, mostly. This location would need less of a tune up than others! read more

The girl on the speaker was super friendly and welcoming but when I got to the girl at the window she was very rude. When I asked for a knife she said they didn't have any so when I asked her to take the sandwich in the back to cut it in half for my son she magically found a plastic knife to give me- so much for quality customer service rather lazy workers.. By far the worst Starbucks I've ever visited and I visit from Michigan to Boston. I personally will never stop hear again I waited 27 minutes for small mocha and muffin as I watch patron after patron come in after me I asked and the very same person who took my order said it would be right up, mind you the muffin hadn't been placed on the counter after another 10 minutes I asked and finally the drink was placed on the counter I asked how long before I get my muffin and the very same person who took my order asked if I would like to order one......wtf.service at this location gets a -9 for all things bad and that's on a scale to 10 read more

I go to Starbucks almost every day of the week to various locations and this one has the friendliest staff and they always get your order right. Other locations rush too much and get orders wrong. Sometimes I go out of my way to go to this one. The drive through line moves fast and the inside is roomy, not cozy and modern and roomy. This is the only Starbucks that I will go to. The customer service is superior when compared to the other locations. My wife and I live closer to a different Starbucks, but we always go to this location. When we returned after the pandemic there was such a family feel when I said my wifes name at the drive thru and the employees welcomed us back. We tried a new Starbucks today because we were feeling adventurous. We were very disappointed on how we were treated by the lady taking our order. We asked to do separate orders but she said that it was "a bit much" and we were all paying differently. She then told us to go inside if we wanted to do that but we were already in the drive thru for 15 minutes. When we came up to the window she gave us all a nasty look and wouldn't work with us. I have been to MANY Starbucks hence I might have a little bit of a coffee addiction lol. But I've had many experiences where the staff is not friendly, my drink is not made correctly, or I am asked to LEAVE because I have a medical condition that sometimes enables me to wear the mask for long periods of time due to severe asthma. This is the only location that has ever offered to bring my to go drink outside while I wait instead of denying me service, which is technically illegal. when I am able to go inside, I have to give MELISSA so much credit. No matter how busy it can be, she is always a ray of sunshine and you can tell she loves her job and does it efficiently! Last week I had an awful day and was hoping she was working just because when you approach her you can't help but smile. She truly is an asset to your location. Love this Starbucks! Staff is always friendly, but do not go here if you're in a hurry. The morning drive thru is usually pretty quick since they have two people on at the window. This Starbucks in Milford CT on the post road right next to Shop Rite is usually well stocked and very friendly with the exception of one barista. Unfortunately despite her being there a long time she does struggle to hold back her tendency to have an attitude with customers when she is feeling overwhelmed in the mornings. If you are lucky enough to avoid her your morning will be off to great start! If not the Starbucks by the mall is fabulous just not well stocked. read more
