Venti Espresso Frappuccino
Jonna O.

They made my drink so fast and it was made perfectly. It's so nice to have a short wait time at a Target Starbucks!

So good!

I was unsure whether to give this Starbucks on the carlisle pike 2 or 3 stars, but I decided on 3 because of the quality of my drink, which trumps everything else I believe. My drink was made perfectly, and I loved it. Sometimes Starbucks doesn't make everything to perfection (for what reason I am unsure), but this location seems great with the process of making quality drinks. Why I gave this less than 5 stars is because the staff isn't exactly friendly. They aren't mean or offensive, but I got the feeling twice now that the staff doesn't want to be there, and they end up letting the customer see that. I hope this changes because this is the closest Starbucks to me.

One of my summer season favorite- Venti White chocolate mocha frappuccino with whipped cream!

They are really prompt & courteous - in the bistro or drive through. I just wish they maintain a good stock of chicken panini sandwiches - those seem to be very popular & vanish quickly!

New store still looking to find their rhythm. Orders come out s little too slowly and pastries are a little picked over in the afternoon.

Dalicia Ristorante and Bakery

This was my second visit to Dalicia -- my first was for dessert (which unfortunately didn't win me…read moreover), and this time my adventure buddy was set on giving their dinner menu a try. Menu unseen, expectations unclear...so off we went! Knowing from past experience that the restaurant can feel drafty, I arrived layered up and ready for a cozy-but-practical evening on a cold February night. We walked in around 6pm without a reservation and were seated without issue as we were the only two people inside other than folks working. We started with the flatbread appetizer (feta, spinach, artichoke, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, scallions, turkey pepperoni on flaky pastry - $8), and honestly -- this was the highlight of the night. The pastry was thin and crisp, piled generously with toppings, and finished with what tasted like a garlicky sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Light, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. In hindsight, I should have just ordered a second one and called it dinner while things were still making me do the happy food dance. For my entrée, I ordered the Turkey Pesto Crepe ($12.25), described as sliced turkey, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone mozzarella cheese, and sun-dried tomato pesto. On paper, this sounded fantastic -- a combination that should have delivered distinct flavors and textures. Unfortunately, everything blended together into one uniform consistency, and the individual ingredients didn't stand out the way I had hoped. It wasn't inedible -- I just lost interest after a few bites because nothing felt memorable. My adventure buddy ordered the Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage) ($18.95), described as cabbage stuffed with beef, onions, and rice, served with potatoes (his choice instead of rice). Again, the ingredients sounded promising, but the overall experience landed in the "fine" category -- nothing wrong, but nothing particularly exciting either. The potatoes fell into the same space: acceptable, but lacking seasoning or personality that might elevate the dish. We paired dinner with Pepsi Zero ($2.25 each -- note for fellow Diet Pepsi fans, they don't carry it here). Total for the evening came to about $55 including tip. It may simply not be my flavor style, but I'm always glad to support local and try something new.

All homemade and very good! Hubby had an eclair, which he enjoyed very much. The server was friendly and recommended other interesting places in the area. The seating was cozy and comfortable.

Looking to treat myself a little on a cold, gray Wednesday afternoon, I decided to finally stop…read moreinto Denim Coffee in Carlisle. I've walked and driven past it many times but had somehow never made it inside. Since Denim was also participating in the 2026 Cumberland Valley Coffee & Chocolate Trail, it felt like the perfect excuse to check it out and grab a quick late-afternoon pick-me-up. I walked in around 4pm and found a handful of people inside -- some chatting quietly, others working on laptops. The space was clean, calm, and welcoming, with soft music playing overhead. The woman at the counter was an absolute sunbeam on an otherwise dreary afternoon, greeting me warmly and happily taking my order. I went with an iced coffee with sugar-free vanilla syrup (extra sweet, please!) and oat milk. Total came to $5.25. While she prepared my drink, I took a moment to look around and realized what a great view Denim offers from their bar seating area. Full glass windows with stools looking out over the square in Carlisle make it a fantastic people-watching spot. That afternoon, the Farmers Market was set up across the square, and it was fun watching people dash between stands while dodging raindrops to grab their weekly goodies. It struck me as a perfect place to meet a friend, spend a few hours working on a laptop, or just decompress with a coffee and watch the world go by. Denim also had a small sweet treat case with snacks that would pair nicely with coffee. I stuck with just the drink this time, but everything looked tempting enough that I'd definitely consider adding a pastry next visit. A few minutes later my name was called and my drink was waiting at the end of the counter. One interesting touch: they placed the container of oat milk beside my coffee so I could add exactly as much as I wanted. It's a small detail, but not something you see at many coffee shops, and I appreciated the flexibility. The iced coffee itself was excellent. Unlike some places where iced coffee tastes like watered-down brown liquid, Denim's actually tasted like coffee -- strong, smooth, and delivering a solid caffeine boost. Overall: great service, really good coffee, reasonable prices, and a cozy spot right in the heart of town. The only real challenge is parking since it's so close to the square. Street parking is available nearby, but depending on the time of day you may need to circle a bit. All in all, a great little coffee stop and I'm glad I finally walked through the door.

We decided to share a flight which was $9. But really it wasn't like flights, they just let us sample a bunch. I am not sure how many we sampled but I am guessing we got our $9 worth although I wish they'd discount the flights/sampling if you purchase. We did get a bottle to go for a gift and the total came to around $32. Some of the flavors were really yummy and the ingredients are all fresh and some local I believe which I like. I also like that they do cocktails in house and they fresh squeeze lemons, limes, oranges, etc for whatever they're concocting. The atmosphere is cozy - like a cute coffee shop and decorated nice. Reminds me of my college days at the Allen in Annville...They don't serve food but they welcome you to bring your own food. Also they have live music often so it looks like a nice place to relax with friends and a drink or 2. As for me becoming a fan of mead? Not sure...I tried some that I didn't mind but really didn't have anything that I loved. There were some I was like oh no this is not for me. LOL I purchased a mule one which has fresh ginger and lime and I think that will be good over ice. That's another thing, we just tried them straight but I bet I'd enjoy them more over ice or however some of them are meant to be served. I'd still recommend this place based on overall experience. Next time I think I'll try a cocktail.

None of the breweries caught our eye, but I've heard about mead before so decided to stop in and see what all the fuss was about. The Larsen Meadworks is a nice cozy storefront right on Main Street with a small bar, high top tables, and some comfy couches and chairs. Not knowing the first thing about mead when walking in, i was particularly impressed by how the owner took the time to walk us through what it was all about - and to steer us towards some options that were similar to beer styles we liked. Was impressed by how many selections were available - and especially the collaboration they have with a local distillery - with rum from the distillery mixed with mead to create a cocktail. Gift alert! They sell bottles to go, I grabbed a few for Christmas gifts.
