Im not sure whats wrong with the employees here, but anytime I try to order their seasonal drinks they ask me to tell them how to make it. Im not a Starbucks employee so for them to ask me, the customer, is ridiculous. While in the drive thru, I tried to order their valentine's day cold brew with strawberry cold foam as it was being advertised on the app. They told me that was a "secret menu" and that they dont know how to make those items so I would have to instruct them. How bizarre. I let them know that it would be their responsibility to know how to make the beverages that are being advertised. After that frustration I ordered a coffee frapp only to be asked "which flavor though?. Um..coffee..thats the flavor lol anyways this place is slowwwwww and frustrating to deal with. They dont seem to be trained properly. Prepare to wait forever for your drinks and get blank stares. Id avoid this location if possible. read more

Everytime I go to this location, my drink is wrong. This holiday season I've ordered a pumpkin chai with extra foam like 4 times and everytime they fill the entire cup with ice. Yesterday I went and ordered a triple iced espresso with white chocolate, cream and pumpkin foam. I made a mobile order in hopes they would read the ticket. I show up and my drink is wrong and they forgot to give me my food. All is fine, it happens sometimes. I mention to the barista that it was supposed to be pumpkin foam (she gave me something else) and she was immediately irritated. I am also a barista, have been for years and this customer service if frowned upon no matter what location you're at. I called as soon as they opened. Needed to get a coffee trailer for work but didn't get to order in advance. The gal who took my call was friendly and extremely accommodating. When I asked how long it would take, she said 5-10 minutes. I got there not long after I called and it was ready within 5 minutes of paying. Easily a 4 star (or 5 on a great day) Starbucks- but Lynnwood's horrific traffic reduce it to 3. Hard to get in or out of- 196th traffic is similar to that tsunami a few years ago- it's a massive flow of rude, inconsiderate folks that won't let you in our out of this place. On top of that there is about 60% of the amount of parking that this place deserves. Plus side- drive through is efficient. Assuming you get a parking spot the store itself is standard Sbux, wood, eclectic music and folks with laptops and headphones on passing time. Staff are great, service is always solid. read more

Giving 2 stars as everyone is friendly, I'm a repeat morning customer, and out of every 3 orders, 1 is wrong, my order is not complicated, ask for unsweetened coffee, they will give me sweetened, ask for lowfat breakfast sandwich, will give me another kind, ask for light heavy cream, and comes out almost fully white. Now I check before I drive away, like today iced black coffee, no sweetner/no cream (as they can't figure out what light means at this location) now I take a sip and look in package before driving away, it was sweetened, each time I get, sorry they're in a hurry back there. My bad review is specifically about their parking. The whole lot is 30 min parking limit, and I talked to an employee and he said to park at panda express' parking lot and walk from there (which is the next complex over.) After purchasing my beverage I was told to leave because the store had to close down for snow. I came in there wit my 2 year old daughter in the snow to at least enjoy my drink for 5 minutes. I have been very upset with this incident and dissatisfied. The worker refused to share her name however I was able to take a picture. I expect professional behavior from staff and at least a sense of moral and ethical understanding. Holy crap this is a busy Sbucks. I've come here before but hadn't noticed that once the front lot is full, there's a back lot too. And a drive-through! This small shop is always packed and always really busy. On my most recent trip I parked in the back and came through a back door. It reversed me a little so when I came in I wasn't sure where to order from. I saw a long line of people and attempted to get in it. Fortunately someone helped me out and told me that was the 'already ordered' line and there was actually no line to place an order. Cool. I did get a funny look like I was a moron, but hey, maybe I was! haha. It was so busy in here that it got confusing for a second. I placed my order, got my tea and oatmeal and off I went. Pro-tip: If you have to park in the back lot, make sure you have time to get to your final destination. There were no spaces out front so I came back here to park thinking it'd be easy. If the drive-thru line is long, those cars block in anyone parking back here. I ended up stuck in my car for a few minutes. read more

The baristas were rude and unhelpful. One day - I had such a bad experience with a barista that I called corporate and complained about her. It's been years since I was a daily coffee drinker and Starbucks caramel macchiato was my drug of choice. Revamping an old habit I've frequented this location a handful of times in the last few weeks. Wether it was the drive thru or lobby experience I'm reminded of what I missed about Starbucks over the years. Indeed the crew here serves quality, innovative coffee drinks, light bites, and other unique, tasty beverages for a premium price but somehow I never leave feeling ripped off. Why? Because regardless of the grand total the experience here leaves me feeling charmed and full in a mysteriously intangible way. What I've observed is a confident and sound leadership embodied by the store manager (Meagan?) behind the bar and smart, content coffee pouring associates who swoon in harmony to perform their duties and serve their customers as if there's no where else they'd rather be. It's all good. Everyone seems to be doing their part to pull of the greatest Starbucks experience you've ever had once again but there's something about the sound of her voice. She must be or should be the manager. She's loud and clear but not over bearing. She doesn't suppress the pleasant kindness of someone who enjoys serving each and every one of her customers face to face every day. The simple sound of her voice and her chosen method of delivery could turn your spirit around faster than it would take one to notice. Perhaps it's how she uses not just volume but the pitch and flex with her tone to make me (and presumably everyone else) feel like they are the best thing that could have ever walked thru that door. I want to look around but no she's looking at me and happily taking my order. I'm being treated like a local celebrity who just decided to grace the store with their presence. No matter how down trodden I feel (or look) that day and regaurdles of the variety of insecurities I'm wearing that day this human being opposite the register consistently uses all aspects of her voice to make me feel no less than thrilled I've chosen to patronage this particular business on that day, in this moment. So thank you manager with the amazing voice that knows how to use it for making my day again, and again and again. I salute you! read more

Baristas, meh. I think they're typical starbucks baristas... some are nice and some are idiots. Coffee, inconsistent... but it's just okay. If I wanted to wait 15-20 minutes for a cup o' joe... The coffee and efficiency here is really good. The baked goods are tasty. The parking lot is a bit scary. As is the drive thru, like, it's really narrow. Sometimes it's a challenge getting back out onto 196th. Definitely something to take into consideration when choosing a coffee place that has a shop on every corner!. read more

I can't go back here anymore. I am always getting bad drinks, and then I have to drive to a different Starbucks to get it remade. Just bought my last one there today. There are like 6 or 7 people working in there you would think they could do the drinks better. Coffee tastes foul, flavorings not added or not enough. Sad because it is a convenient location. I do love that Starbucks has consistent products across locations. My drink was made exactly the way I like it. I had a La Boulange pastry for the first time, and it wasn't very good. (I should note that I am obsessed with the "real" La Boulange in San Francisco and might be judging unfairly.) Finally, it's a pain to turn into this Starbucks from the other side of the street. I came here for the first time, to meet my church's Youth Pastor. I was really looking forward to a long friendly conversation and was super happy to know that this location was quiet. I arrived around 4:30pm today. Everyone was spread out and working quietly and kept to themselves. Music wasn't too loud and it looked liked everyone was enjoying their time their. We definitely were, too! Coffee was also delicious, as per usual for my visits. :) I ordered an iced americano with soy and vanilla, simple and easy. Came out yummy with the right amount of vanilla. I think at times the vanilla lacks and I love flavor and sweet but this was very tasty and since I can't have milk or any trace of it, I have to do a syrup like vanilla that still is tasty enough. We got our orders quick. Tables were taken so we sat at the bar stools and it really was nice to enjoy a quiet convo without having to worry about talking too loud or not being able to hear ourselves. It's a really nice layout. I like this location and will keep it in mind for next time. Just a heads up if you are facing The Rock Woodfire and see Starbucks, don't turn at that light before the pizza restaurant as that driveway doesn't connect to Starbucks. This location has a very small driveway and you have to go in one of the two way turn lanes to get into the already packed parking lot. There is not much space but I've seen people park nearest the fence in the pizza parking lot and be fine. Just be aware. They also have a couple tables outside! My husband and I came here fir a post lunch drinks. The shop is very clean, the music is just loud enough to be enjoyed and pleasant and the baristas are smiley. These are all the things I've come to expect from a Starbucks. Our drinks were as delicious as we had hoped. I LOVE this Starbucks! I have been coming here for a long time now, and I love it. I work very close by so it is convenient. There are at least 3 Starbucks locations closer to my house, but I go out of my way to come to this one because of the service I get as well as the quality of the beverages that I get. CAT IS AMAZING!!! Whoever reads this needs to get her a raise ASAP. But she is not the only amazing barista there. Jessica, Kelsey and Bianca are amazing too! I have never had a bad experience with any of the baristas there. My day is not complete unless I get my Quad Espresso fix from this amazing location. If the drive thru is busy, I usually just do a mobile order from the parking lot and walk in to get my drink. No waiting in line!! Even if I do wait, it is 100% worth it!
