Starbucks is fairly consistent across most locations with the exception of their service. Every single time I come to this location, I'm wow's by the amazing staff. I don't know what's wrong with this location. They don't have a drive-thru, they have three people working. Customers were waiting and the staff couldn't keep up with the orders It wasn't Tuesday so they were not training. Standing around 20 minutes to wait for a drink is insane. The best Starbucks location in Monroe. I think not having a drive thru really helps pace the employees better allowing for none burnt and balanced flavored drinks. Also helps with the whole ambiance of the place by not making it feel like such a rushed environment. read more

I ordered two items this morning from this lovely location. I ordered an extra hot Venti White Chocolate Mocha and a warmed-up piece of banana bread. As the cashier was putting in order the barista yelled "DO YOU WANT TO MAKE IT THREE SHOTS THIS MORNING". Seeing as I was in the middle of ordering I was confused and said no. The cashier had to explain that the drink has two shots, and she was asking if I wanted another shot (oh, so trying up upsell). When I got the banana bread it was not warmed up. So, I will not be back to this location. As Michele G. mentioned if her review of this location, they have a very LOUD employee that needs to be quiet and stop bothering the customer and interrupting the cashier. read more

A few are nice; however some are a non-sincere nice. One person is extremely loud. Every time I'm in there, they constantly mess up on orders like it's the norm. I'm always hearing how loudly and in front of other customers they talk about customers when they leave in a negative way. From an HR perspective, very wrong and illegal for them to talk about a prior employee who just left out the store as a customer stating she's not eligible for re-hire; and, again, in front of other customers. These were two individuals who are members of management that started the conversation engaging the other staff. I work at Hairmasters in the corner by coastal and really needed a strong coffee so I went into Starbucks and asked one of the girls if they made anything that tasted like a Mocha Frappuccino with extra extra caffeine. She asked if I ever tried blonde expresso and I said no. She asked if I wanted to try it and I said sure. Best dissection I made that day!!! Yummmmm It tasted great and boy did I have the energy to work my 9 hr day. Even my manager noticed a difference in me because I was cleaning and stocking and rearranging the products when she was doing her haircut. Very friendly service. We ordered 5 drinks at once on one bill but the starbuck staff was willing to give 5 coupon for $2 grande frap to be used after 2pm. It just happens that because we paid everything on one receipt, we only get 1 coupon. But the staff knew there are people who doesn't want their coupon and it ended up with us. Guess we needed it most. Ordered the mango black tea lemonade. It was not bad but can't say it was great great. Wish I just ordered the frap instead. friendly service. Then this morning, I ordered my strawberry açaí and it tasted like complete Water. It was depressing... I visit this place almost every day for coffee during the week. Needless to say they are awesome! They are friendly, personable, & get to know their customers. It doesn't feel like your typical franchise coffee place because the employees make it feel like a small town cafe where a group of retirees come to sip coffee & talk about the news, or skiers stop in to warm up to & from Stevens Pass. As an outside sales rep, I spend a lot of time at various Starbucks across Seattle. I have to say this Starbucks by far has THE BEST STAFF and rapport with their customers. Wendy tried her best to greet every customer that walked through the door, and if she was pre occupied with other customers one of her friendly staff would. This Starbucks isn't too shabby; in fact it is pretty spacious even though it looks small from the outside. We got in line at the drive though which was quite slow, so we got out of line and parked and then went in. Parking was also troubled as they share it with big5 and lord knows what other stores. Put too much caramel in my macchiato, then when they remade it politely they simply forgot to give me money's worth (I payed for a double shot in my Tall) and gave me a single (maybe even decaf) shot in my remade drink. Not going back here. I specifically reminded them it was a double. read more

Starbucks is my favorite place to get coffee, but I don't like the customer service that I get there half of the time! There are a few people there who are SUPER nice, but others do not have a smile on their face and they are really NOT nice. I love to get Coffee Frappaccinos and they make them AWESOME (well, it depends on the person because sometimes I get huge chunks of non-blended ice), but other than that, I like this location. The poor customer service by some of the staff reallllllllly bothers me because I am 100% about delivering amazing customer service in MY workplace, so this is why this location is only getting 3 stars from me. By far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been too in my life. I've been to at least a hundred Starbucks locations. Every single time I've gone back, it's been the same slow service. Taking the order isn't the problem, it's getting my coffee (s) after waiting 20+ minutes for it. This is not an exaggeration, this is the truth. It should not take over 25-30 min. to wait in line, order a drink(s) to finally getting them in your hand. The shortest time they ever made my my coffee, was in 25 minutes total from the time i walked in. Reguardless, IT SHOULD NOT TAKE THAT LONG!!! I absolutely will never try this Starbucks again. I use to always say that, then a couple years go by, and i try again, then leave even more disapointed then the last bad experience. This time, I promised myself I would never step foot back there ever again. Just to double check, I'm only speaking for the one right next too the Big 5 in Monroe. The other 3 in Monroe, inside Fred Meyer, Safeway, and the other right next too GNC, are all excellent w/ their costumer service bace.
