I've been drinking coffee Frappuccino for at least 25 years . I recently ordered one at the Monroe location and their Frappuccino looks like milk . It is pale white . When I tasted it , it tasted like it's missing the main ingredient " coffee" ! So I went back and asked them to make another one and I was thinking that maybe someone made a mistake. Well, the second drink that was redone is exactly the same so I realize that they don't know how to make a Frappuccino. This is a big change from what it was a year or two ago when I used to order one here and they do it right. I don't know what happened. The picture attached to this review is what a Frappuccino should look like. It is brown, not white like a milkshake Store manager needs to check their recipe to find out what they're doing wrong. It is definitely not consistent with a standard Starbucks coffee Frappuccino. read more

Rounded up to 4 as I like most of the people working there. New renovation is done and it is a miss. The lights are too bright for those with photosensitivity and the new seats, all types, seem to be on the level of IKEA. Very uncomfortable seating that seems engineered to make people leave quick. And the fly problem seems to be gone. The small table top areas do have electric outlets under the seats and they include USB A outlets. Drive through seems a little more orderly however the screen is broken. Another miss. Starbucks corporate had the ability to deliver a better experience and they delivered one that missed the mark and delayed opening by 2 months. Their coffee is what is expected and the gals are nice but man, they are not fast. Multiple times I've needed to turn around because it can take 15 minutes to get a coffee. Always friendly & quick with orders. I like to switch up my drinks & the staff is always helpful with suggestions if they're out of specific flavors you request. Long lines for the drive through for the last two weeks. (It's been a problem for much longer than that). Waited 20mins to get my coffee on a Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday all at different times throughout the afternoon. (One day I waited so long, they gave me the coffee for free) To add to the pain, my orders have ALL been wrong. Grande instead of Venti, mocha instead of white chocolate, 2% instead of non-fat, pumpkin loaf instead of banana. (I've ordered the exact same thing for the last 15yrs, pretty sure it's not me). Last week they screwed the order up three consecutive times before I was fed up and just drove away (after the cars behind me were honking. Maybe it's time they actually fixed the order display outside... a whole other story. The drive through has looked like a landfill for the last three days... same exact garbage, took pictures. This is one of my favorite stops in Monroe. I often come here to get some studying done. There aren't too many places to do that in this town. I've tried the library but without soundproofing and a lot of kids it's actually a noisy disturbing place. This Starbucks is quite accessible and has a good drive-thru. The decor and atmosphere or typical Starbucks. The same goes for the coffee. There's nothing not to like here. The staff are and great and the customer service is awesome read more

I have been going to this location on my way to work pretty consistently for the last 6 months and the staff there is my favorite. The interactions are personable and warm my heart. They recently noticed I was driving a different car, and I let them know that my car was totaled in an accident. They didn't even hesitate to cover my coffee and bagel for the day and send me off to work feeling cared for. Would give 6/5 stars if possible! read more

We ended up with the worst caramel macchiato of my life and a pipping hot americano. Open late and is a drive thru. Otherwise, I avoid this one. It seems that there are two people with personality - one at the register and the other at the drive thru window. The rest are coffee robots who make drinks with the minimal effort, expression or enjoyment. They get my drink correct about 1/2 the time - and yes, I do ask them to make it again - just to remind them that the same accuracy at the register is expected in the cup. read more

As a service dog user, this place is not for you. A older couple with a small yorkie come in often. Obviously, not a service dog, lacking even the basics of training, it sits on the man's shoulder like a parrot while he sits on a chair, not to mention it yaps often. Also the people who work there do not have very good customer service. Bc of this slow service I have started making my own coffees at home or stopping at other coffe stands. Jenna, the Starbucks barista went above and beyond to provide Superior customer service. She excels above her peers above and beyond. When the sandwich that was provided by Starbucks was nearing expiration date she happily and without issue swapped out the sandwich. She rectified the situation and such a manner as to provide a superior customer experience. Move over Howard Schultz becuase Jenna the Barrista is about to rock the boat. read more

As with many, many espresso and coffee drinkers, I have been to quite a few Starbucks. The skinny latte was very good and was ready quickly. No comfortable chairs here. Bistro height tables and stools dominate. Miss that nice touch of comfort. While waiting I did notice people who ordered warm breakfast sandwiches were served quickly. I really don't know why this Starbucks has so many bad reviews. The only problem with this location is that the drive thru in the morning takes forever. But that's expected because it's the only drive thru Starbucks in town, and everyone wants coffee in the morning. I've had nothing but great coffee and service! They are always very accommodating. If you don't like your drink they will make a new one for you. We are humans and make mistakes. Give them a break :) read more
