This is a tiny starbucks. It has a drive through or you can go inside. We came in on a Sunday at 10am. The drive through was about 8 cars deep so we decided to go inside. The line inside was no better. From the time we walked in to the time we got our order it was about 25 minutes. This starbucks has a decent amount of snack options but not as many as the larger stores. The employees were decently friendly considering how in the weeds they were. The station where you add sugar or creamer to your coffee was lacking. There was no cinnamon, vanilla, or labeling on the cream/milk. My husband was looking for half and half or skim milk. The container they had wasnt marked. He put it in his coffee and it looked to be whole milk based off how thick it was. Overall an ok place if you are in dire need of coffee. Otherwise I would recommend finding another location that isnt as busy and has more options. read more

Starbucks is starbucks. Took the drive through to see what all the negative hype was about in the other reviews. That being said I will keep it 100. Coffee was consistent with every other place and I love me some starbucks. But it was kinda slow as far as drive through is concerned. There were about 5 cars in front of me which means they had a good bit of time to make my drink. Normally at any other starbucks by the time I get to the window it's ready to go. The line here took about 10min to get from ordering to the window and an addition 5 once I paid. That's a little too slow. Moral or the story: if you don't have time, pre-order using Starbucks mobile app. Don't count on a quick drive through experience here. read more

You better know how to place a mobile order. If you are an in person customer they don't care. Your order is placed behind all the mobile orders. The girl I asked about my order didn't even have enough brain cells to get my drink started when I asked why I was still waiting after 15 minutes and there were only 2 customers in the store. Another young women (manager maybe) did step in and make my order. Since when is the live in person customer just a number that gets in line behind 20 or more mobile orders? Technology is great and I know how to place a mobile order but a live in person customer should be treated better. read more

After a majorly rough day at work I stopped in and ordered the feature drink - an ICED CARAMEL ESPRESSO MACCHIATO. What a great pick-me-up! Fast service (there was no line in the drive thru on a Sunday). I always order a modified passion tea lemonade with 1/2 the pumps of sweetener. This Starbucks location made it just right! This is likely the smallest Starbucks in Lubbock. They do a lot of drive-up business, but they do have a couple of seats in the lobby. I have to say that I like this location the least. It is a nice design, but I had a bad customer service experience. I ordered a french press and it had too much coffee - and as such tasted bitter. I asked them to redo it, but felt that they were being defensive about it. I could have proved my point - but why bother? I have a very basic order that I've placed at several other locations in town, out of town and even out of state... the coffee I picked up this morning was AWFUL. We have been through the drive through three times in the last few days and have received the worst service. This is West Texas. We expect a certain level of cordiality. The first time, I was met with attitude and no smile. The second time, I tried to ask a question and the window was closed on me. The third time, my tea was sweet instead of unsweet as I ordered. I love Starbucks, and this one has never done me wrong except for today. I can't drink a lot of caffeine for one I'm pregnant and two it makes me lightheaded so I get decaf. I usually go here because it's on my way to work. They usually always mess up the coffee, either mine or my husbands. I forget and don't try before I leave. If you go here make sure you taste your coffee/latte before leaving because it's the most annoying thing when you get to you destination and the latte is either burnt espresso or isn't what I ordered. Also when you try to go sit inside on a slow day to get work done you get interrupted by the employees having loud conversations talking shit about customers who left and coworkers who are not there. The baristas all have great personalities and make this a fun Starbucks to go to. The place stays relatively clean, but in the summer there are ALWAYS flies everywhere. It gets gross and annoying. The place is also pretty small, there are only about 5 tables and since this place is so busy, the tables are always full. It makes it hard to go there if you want to study or stay very long.
