Brought our small dog in, we carried her the whole time and she is always calm and minds her own business. We asked barista Johnathon to stir our drink again as the lavender powder was not mixed in at all. He has an attitude and does not prioritize our remake. Then proceeds to ask if our dog is a service animal which is an illegal question and we feel very targeted from him asking it. Proceeded to get our drink again still not fully mixed how it normally would. Definitely will avoid this barista from now on. read more

I heard that they had been temporarily closed but are now fully reopened and revamped. The space feels larger and more inviting than before. Our drinks, muffins and customer experience were all great. Two of my coworkers and I met at this location to do a quick job training and the layout of the store allowed us to find a quiet place to enjoy a little coffee and do said training. BONUS: a few days go by and I realize I lost my purse (I drive an electric car so I don't need a car key, have a key house lock and use Apple Pay everywhere so I often don't touch my purse for days at a time). Today, my husband's boss from a brand new job tells him STARBUCKS CALLED!!! Mone you his boss is somewhere out west. Starbucks manager, Nel Juhic, did some serious digging trying to find me to return my bag. He called my previous job from cards I had in the bag, and was finally able to find a phone number for my husbands job! I'm so grateful. Value of bag and wallet aside, it would have been so difficult replacing all my cards and IDs. Total lifesaver!!! Service and integrity! 6/5 read more

A great location, always spot on, and if they make a mistake, even a minor one they give you a free drink to make up for it. The staff is professional, fast and friendly. And there are a lot of them working. I hope they pay them really well! Just be careful getting out of their location. I was very disappointed today when I ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. The Baristas were all very busy as it was very crowded with people standing in line. So it seems like they used my drink. They put the cream in to bottom instead of the top and they only put a few ice cubes in. The drink was like room temperature. I will go back because this is one of my favorite stores, but I will ask for the manager and discuss this. It's not a huge deal, but I know he/she will want to know. read more

I tried the new Strawberry Green Tea Infusion. It was very good sweetened! I like the pink color too. There was no line when I came on a Friday close to 3. It's summertime so I'm not sure if it's typically this dead. It's always busy early mornings before work and on Saturdays. Anyway, my drink came quick since they weren't making anyone else's before mine. A few others trickled in after I did as well. I saw a few college students studying in here. They must be taking summer classes. I also saw older women chatting and a few others here and there. It was nice and quiet. I love this Starbucks. They're always really nice. The family wanted to snag hot drinks before we drove around to look at Christmas lights. We'd eaten nearby and decided to stop at Starbucks. No drive thru is available so we stepped inside. I always forget how big this location is - the seating wraps around the building. More comfortable seating is located in the back but it's next to the bathrooms so not the most desired location. They also have several tables outside. Two baristas were behind the bar. When we walked in no one was at the counter so we placed our order quickly. However we did not get the order quickly. The line and other orders began to pile up after that, so no telling how long it took others to get their drinks. My kiddo got a blueberry muffin. It was the saddest muffin I'd ever seen presented by a Starbucks. He was pretty bummed and threw it away after we agreed it was stale and had sat too many days. Had the line not been so long and they'd had ample staff, I'd have asked for another item. The store was also dirty and needed a good wipe down and sweeping. It's obvious how things have worn down here, including outlets under the window seats. Maybe it's almost time for a renovation here? Store signage also seemed off for their holiday items. A sign touted up to 40% off food items but then rang up full price. The barista seemed confused but otherwise didn't have an explanation. Unless shopping at the Paddock Shops, I'd recommend driving to another location for the experience I've come to expect from Starbucks. read more

Nick who seems like the Manager and wears glasses basically lied. I ordered an Espresso Frap and asked to make sure the caramel is on the both and he says, "I got you." After 10 minutes wait, none on the bottom so I ask him, "I thought you said you would take care of it and I tipped you well. Should've never even tipped you." He does apologize and say he got busy but I can tell you that is not true as he was chatting and directing someone else to do something. Today was the last day of Homearama. I went to see the amazing housing displays in the summer heat. The houses were great, but when I left, I was so thirsty. This was the closest Starbucks to the location of Homearama, so I thought I would stop by. The Mango Black Tea Lemonade is now my favorite thing so I ordered that and a cake pop, cause why not? The drink was good, the cake pop was good, but the service left much to be desired. Yes, I know its Starbucks, but the cashier seemed really annoyed by my order of the cake pop and in general. So that just took away from this experience. The barista at the other end who made my drink was in much better spirits. Somehow - against everything I ever thought I stood for - a national coffee chain has become my local coffeehouse. It happened when I went back to school after several years of the corporate slave gig. I needed a place to study away from the blare of family members' TV watching. Off I hauled, textbooks in tow, to my closest Starbucks and paid more than I like to admit for something to keep me going while I read until my eyes were dry. The Summit Starbucks has won me over with their smiles, regular staff, and "just right" lattes each time I come through the line. And it's not just their day job; I ended up bumping into one of the employees where I was in school, and we regularly exchanged friendly conversation between classes and personal tidbits while I waited for my regular drink. Summit Starbucks is a great place to call your new regular spot, no matter what brings you up to the coffee shop. read more

Have you ever been to a place, which was different to you, maybe it was unfamiliar.... it's lovely when a place orients you, treats you kindly and "gets ya togethaaa". Quite possibly the worst Starbucks in our area. Do not go here unless you have plenty of time to wait and have the patience to deal with inadequate customer service. I'm an avid Starbucks drinker and use to the process and wait times during various parts of the day. Regardless of if its early in the morning or 7:30 at night, the only consistent thing I can count on is slow service along with a wrong order every time. My recent experience left me walking out with only my partial order because I gave one of my drinks to a boy who had been waiting for hot chocolate before we even ordered. After several people were served before me it was clear the barista had forgotten the boy's and his father's order. When my order came up I asked what they were waiting for and the dad said loudly "2 hot chocolates!!" The barista was confused and clearly didn't have his order. I gave the boy my daughters's hot chocolate. The barista quickly made the dad's order and I reminded her I still needed a grande hot chocolate. 10 minutes later I was still waiting. I spoke up and rudely got ignored. Drink after drink was served and still no grande hot chocolate!! We were there for a total of 25 minutes and I said "this is ridiculous! Can I get a refund and the cashier said "I don't know how to do that". I decided to leave and the girls behind the counter just laughed as my daughters and I walked out. There clearly needs to be more training in customer service and time management at this location. read more

I was rushing to get to Starbucks for their 2 for 1 special tonight I got to this particular Starbucks and to employees did not acknowledg me for a few minutes I let everything go and then the girl finally acknowledged me I asked her about the 2 for 1 and she said it's 706 and this ended at 7:00 p.m. so between traffic and the employees not acknowledging me I do not get to take a coffee into work. And us night shift workers at the hospital would have loved to have coffee so thank you for your kindness it was really appreciated. Did I mention I just decided to not get coffee I found it very rude that someone would make you wait that long and then try not to help you or barely talk to you. read more

I do love me some Starbucks! This location is great for picking up a coffee to sip (or frapuccino to guzzle in under 5 minutes, if you're like me) as you walk around the Summit (aka Paddock Shoppes- it will always be the Summit to me). It's also a great place to sit outside on a warm day, and catch up with friends. That being said, bring headphones if you're trying to work on anything during the day, as there are usually a lot of people coming and going and it can be loud. read more
