For as many time as I have been to this location I would write a separate review, but to sum it up, outdated on the inside and super slow on outside. Not taking Starbucks complimentary coupon and constantly out of things. Parking is a mess, where you can't see lines no more and because drive though is so congested if you take parking in front of the store you won't be able to back up for a good chunk of time. While surfing the web I noticed this woman across from me spilt her drink, within a minute, two baristas come out with rags & a bag to help with the mess. The two baristas helped with the mess in a caring way helping reassure that its okay, & that is not a big deal. I like this location because of the seating, and the drinks are normally made very well... but today was different; the drink was rushed and the place was really dirty. The floor had crumbs everywhere, and the drink was OK, but it could have been better (maybe take a little pride) especially when it's in a mug instead of a cup with a top. Presentation is half the battle. They also forgot the topping, I had to remind them. This is quite possibly the worst Starbucks in Denver. I worked for Starbucks for years at a high volume store so I know what I'm talking about. Let's start with the issues. 1 lack of any sort of order or leadership. You're typically busy store might have 7 baristas. I've seen this store with 12 and still barely able to handle a rush. Today there were 7. 4 of which were in the back or cleaning things while they left only one to make drinks. The kid was struggling to make drinks and no one jumped in to help him. I waited 20 minutes for an iced coffee. Lack of awareness. The first thing openers do is brew coffee. Yet half the time I come in 30 minutes after open, they have not make iced coffee yet. I've had multiple times where I mobile order 15 minutes in advance and come in and they haven't even grabbed the sticker since they were paying attention to the printer. Slow slow slow slow. They have 4 espresso bars. They should not be slow. They lack any sort of organization and this results in barely making drinks with any discernible speed. Be ready to wait a long time for your drink. I try to avoid this store like the plague. Sadly they open super early and my favorite store is closed for remodeling. I suggest visiting ken caryl and akire, Kipling and Belleview or Wadsworth and Chatfield. read more

What a great example of customer service! When I walked in I was greeted with such a friendly crew. I can tell they enjoy working with each other and love their jobs. I stayed and enjoyed my coffee and when I left, the staff said goodbye and called me by name. This was the first time I have been to this location. This is my neighborhood Sbux and I've been coming to this spot for years. Mostly for business meetings but also for mom's group meetups, a few coffee dates, the usu. Typically I avoid this location because of the drive-through crunch situation - on a regular day, there are usually no less than 15+ people in the drive through. And it's a long, skinny-ish awkward parking lot too, where you can get stuck simply by people backing out to just exit the parking lot. Why am I finally writing a review today, after all these years later? A few days ago I braved the drive through because it was cold and snowy and I wanted a coffee (which I don't drink anymore), I powered through the ridiculous drive through line, and got to the checkout only to find the person ahead of me paid for my drink. Thank you long-fingernailed lady in the black Jeep with the butterfly and turtle stickers. You were annoying the F out of me but then you turned out to be nice. Takeaway: the world would be a better place if we all paid it forward! Next time I go, I'm doing that. read more

I had the best made London Fog at this location the night before so I decided to return the next day... only to have the same drink with both of the entire tea strings still attached to the tea bags in my drink that had no vanilla or my add on with classic. Easily the worst experience I've had at a Starbucks. They are so lost all the time. Always messing up our orders. This last time I came through the drive through which was 1/19/18 at approx 12:30pm was awful. The girl at the window was so rude. She said the wrong thing when she gave me my order. So I told her that's not what I ordered. She gave me a dirty look, didn't say anything and turned to her computer. We waited about 5 min while in silence. She turns and asks us what's our order after another girl had to come over and see if she could help. We tell her what we ordered and she rudely says "well that's what I gave you." It's not our fault she said the wrong thing, we just wanted the right thing. She tried to refund the card without saying that she is and then makes me change payment. I tried to be cool about the situation but her customer service skills are god awful. Okay, so idk why I keep coming back to this one, maybe it's because it's easy on the way home? But I wish I could write a second review but it won't let me. LITERALLY THE WORST FRAP I HAVE EVER HAD. It tasted dead, like it didn't even taste like coffee. I'd rather have it melted, no whip cream and not sweet then to have it taste like I was drinking brown water. Uck! Worst part is, did I get contacted after this review? Of course not haha. We have been going to this location for a while. My kids go to school near by so it's always on our way. My wife really like the frappe they serve but man waiting in line is a hassle. It seems that every time we are here we at least wait 10 minutes for a drive through service and the taste always varies. I would recommend going to the Starbucks inside the target near by. So at most Starbucks, if the half and half is empty, you simply bring it over to the barista station and they will swap it out with a new steel pitcher. Nice little system. So at THIS Starbucks, I got the half and half pitcher to find it was empty. So I went to the barista station and placed it on the counter but to be polite, I waited to say anything as the barista was busy making drinks. Then his rush stopped and then I realized that the guy (Joe), was actually ignoring me. So I asked if I could get a replacement pitcher of half and half. So he grabbed a carton of creamer and slammed it on the counter and said nothing. Not the little brushed aluminum pitcher, but a carton, you know, like what you get at the grocery store. I felt a bit of an angry vibe, but decided "OK I'll just take this back to the cream station. doo dee doo dee doo....." and he shouted at me "DON'T TAKE THAT BACK THERE!". What??? Then he exclaimed, "Leave it here. We are done putting cream at the cream station!". Ummmmm that's weird. I asked why, and he said that it will just get wasted. OK Joe, you're a weirdo. Great, but busy, location. Plan to come either early or late in the day if you need to use one of the sparsely located electrical plugs (unless you are super tall because there seem to be plenty up by the ceiling). The staff here is friendly and drinks are made quickly, which is pretty typical of all Starbucks locations. Overall, this is a great place to hang out, finish some crunch-time studying, or just grab a coffee. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Littleton. I always get a jolly voice through the speaker, which puts me in a good mood. They get my drink correct each time. The flavor for their coffees are always consistent, which makes me a happy camper. A few of the other Starbucks around just don't match the taste quality like here! read more

Filthy inside. They just remodeled but they don't keep it clean. Came in early to get some coffee and work on my laptop. The floors looked like they had not been swept over night. The bar tables over looking the patio were sticky and filthy with flies everywhere. The window sills over looking the patio had food, paper etc all over them. For about ten years i visit each morning for my latte, something to eat, to read the NYT, and socialize with other like minded friends. It would be interesting to know what we collectively spend at this location but know is is significant. The four stars reflect my true enjoyment of the staff: always smiling and calling you by name. A great way to begin the day. Our beef started when they chose to remove the comfortable leather chairs by the fireplace replacing them with ridiculous chairs and silly foot stools that generally get bunched up and pushed aside. But of greater concern is the decision to remove the newspapers. It was well established protocol to read the paper and return it when finished. I have never seen one removed but the few times I wanted to keep one I purchased it on my way out. Been doing this for over ten years along with several others. Coffee shops have community papers-it is what most coffee shops do. I am certain that the decision is made and the local staff is on the cracking end of some higher power's whip but the common feeling is we simply don't matter. Weighing the cost of a few newspapers even spread over thousands of stores against the cost in goodwill doesn't play out in my mind.
