This was my worst experience in a Starbucks! The service was terrible. The ambiance was bad. The lobby was a mess and we were there before 8 am on Saturday and we were the only ones there The lobby seating was limited and they closed off sections as they had inventory boxes everywhere! Stacked high too. Kids could have been hurt if the knocked over those boxes. And it was dirty. Floor was dirt. Pick up counter dirty. The staff seems angry and they were rude. We ordered decaf coffee and they said it wouls take extra time which was ok. But they helped everyone who walked in after us instead of making our food and the cold drinks. We had to ask multiple times for our order. They made the sandwiches which were good but wrong had nothing to drink. Finally fave us our coffees but then they had no creamers out to make your coffee. The lady got mad when i asked for some creamer. Then after she gave me some in a paper cup i had to ask for a trash can for our sugar packs etc. that made her mad too. Then we asked for our cold brews and she rolled her eyes. It was my birthday so we went to Starbucks to redeem my birthday reward and the lady said I didnt have a reward. She argued with me about this. I finally said forget about the reward but i still want the iced pumpkin cream chai venti. When she finally gave me this drink (over 20 minutes later) it was the wrong size. And then she barely put any of the pumpkin cold foam in top as she put so much ice in the cup no room for the cold foam. And thats the best part and the only part that has the pumpkin flavor! When i asked she said thats the size you get with the birthday reward. I had to remind her she couldn't find the reward in my account so I didnt get to use a birthday reward so i ordered the venti. She didnt offer to make it right nor did she say happy birthday. She said call the 800 number. This was the worst experience i have had at a Starbucks. We were in town for the UK basketball game last night and thought we would have my birthday breakfast here. Big mistake. They had several employees too, Not like some restaurants who are short staffed. The lady who was rude about getting me some cream for my coffee was apparently in charge. Maybe she sets the tone about how this place treats customers? If this was my first experience at a Starbucks I wouldn't go back I definitely won't patronize this one again. read more

This is my Starbucks en route to work so I stop in frequently, usually with mobile pickup. I feel like they heavily prioritize the drive through, which makes sense since the layout of the parking lot is not idea. This seems to make in person orders and mobile orders suffer time wise, however. As a former Starbucks manager, it seems like there are commonly some sequencing issues on hot bar that force all drinks to come out super slowly. Got a sandwich and a latte at 6:30am this week and the sandwich was out by 6:35 but the drink took over 20min. Employees are generally kind but be wary of ordering anything but hot coffee if you're in any type of rush. read more

We ordered (2) White Chocolate Mocha Coffees and got (2) White Mocha Coffees. We called it to their attention and they made us another White Mocha, NOT a White Chocolate Mocha like we ordered twice. They gave us a $4.00 gift card which was much appreciated but we really just wanted our White Chocolate Mocha Coffees. We will not recommend this location to family or friends or return any time soon. We understand accidents and miscommunication but they simply did not listen to our order. So frustrating! read more

Stopped by for a quick morning pick-me-up and a snack. Decided to try the new Crystal Ball drink; a grande is a little over $5. Since I hadn't had it before, the cashier told me it had a peachy taste, which it did. Very Peaches 'N Cream. Unfortunately she forgot to note that I requested non-fat milk, so they had to remake it. Wasn't too busy inside, but drive-thru and mobile orders were hopping so it took a little more time than usual. It would have been a beautiful morning to sit outside, but all the chairs and tables were wet. I think they should've taken the time to dry them off. Overall, good experience. read more

I'm a little surprised by the mediocre reviews here, as this was one of the better Starbucks experiences I'd had in some time. I like the layout of the store, with a number of seating options, the coffee was good, and I found the service to be quite friendly and competent. That said, I was here on Christmas morning, when this was one of only a couple open locations in town, and I believe the staff was a mix of employees from various stores (sort of an all-star team of SB baristas), so maybe my experience doesn't generalize well... read more

The drive thru line moved quickly, our order was correct-- although we are simple coffee drinkers 1 Venti Pike and 1 Venti Vanilla Iced Coffee with Almond Milk. The employees were kind and courteous. This is one of the most inconsistent Starbucks I've ever been too. Actually, inconsistent may be an understatement. They are always running out of lid stoppers, various flavors of tea, and other menu items. I understand a shift in customer flow and demand, but it seems like every other time me or my wife stop by this Starbucks we can get something we want to order. I've tweeted at Starbucks and written them a couple email complaints before and they apologize and send me a gift card. Order placed at drive thru: Order repeated and confirmed. Courteous service at that point and paid for. Pulled away and noticed it was not right. Stopped and walked inside. Lyndsay the driver thru cashier and turns out to be shift supervisor was standing there: I asked NICELY,thinking that it could just be a misprinted label, cause it has happened before, "Is this nonfat like I ordered?" Lyndsay at that point looked at me and in a VERY demeaning sarcastic tone(as if I was a child) asks:"Well", "does it say non-fat?' I , at that point I was flabbergasted at the tone in front of three other employees and at least 8 other customers, said in a defensive and humiliated tone , "NO". Her response in a seemingly harsher and even more biting sarcastic tone was"THEN IT"S NOT". Guess we will have to make you another! At that point so humiliated: I sat the drink done(which I had paid close to $5 for) on the counter and said:" NO, obviously it was my fault" and proceeded to walk out. As if this was not an embarrassing enough situation, my several swift steps to the exit seemed to take forever, due to her continued efforts to humiliate me in front of all inside. In her LOUD voice, not saying yelling, but a very LOUD VOICE so that the WHOLE Store could hear: Says, "Thank YOU! Then still in the Loud sarcastic and demeaning TONE, "HAVE A GREAT DAY", and yet one more sarcastic and Humiliating Loud Tone , "BYE, THANK YOU!".All for everyone to hear and to single me out. Now, here is what I want to understand. Let's say That I was in the wrong, even though I distinctly remember placing my usual order that I have ordered from many locations and this one a multitude of times over the past 10 years and that SHE(Lyndsay) repeated to me. Why not, a so sorry Sir, we value you as a customer and we will make you a new one( at the beginning instead of "well is that what the label says?"? All would have been just fine and understandable. Instead your employee , a shift supervisor that I am sure mentors other employees, humiliates me and causes everyone to direct their attention to me as I walk out the door not saying a word. Why was it necessary for her to repeatedly in her loud demeaning voice for all to hear: Thank you, then Have a Great Day sarcastically stated and even louder BYE , THANK YOU yet again! What was the point of that? Why was that necessary? Why did she have to make a spectacle and a point to speak very loudly and to draw attention for all to hear? Why over and over? Why? I will tell you why? This was an attempt to embarrass me, humiliate me and to draw attention to me in front of all others around! I have never been so embarrassed before in my life! I do know, that if one of my employees ever spoke to one of my valued customers in this humiliating and repetitive attempt to embarrass , that person would be FIRED on the spot!!! I for one am asking for an apology and my money back along with at the very minimum a demotion from "Shift Supervisor". Is this the time of tactic that you want her to show as an example to other associates? I hope not! Every time that I come into Lexington, 2-3 times a week , I look forward to stopping at the Versailles Road Location( being that it is the closest one from the exit after an hour drive to get there. Slowest starbucks ever. If you plan to go thru drive thru, expect to sit there no less than 20 minutes. The employees are always playing grab-ass inside, flirting, chit chatting, and NOT preparing drinks. I called them out on their poor service after waiting nearly 30 minutes for my drink, and an old woman named Karen decided to give me lip and told me she didn't care about my inconvenience. She was extremely disrespectful even after I asked her to stop talking to me several times. It's now been at least a week since I last visited and now I prefer to support my local coffee shops being that Starbucks has picked the slowest and worst to employ at this spot. read more

I have to admit-I'm going to miss coming to this Starbucks! I came here on the weekends to the drive thru with my dog. They were great about greeting him and giving him a treat. There were a couple times though that my order was rushed, wrong, and felt like they just wanted to get on to the next person. When they got my order right and chatted with me while I waited for my coffee, that was much better. I really like the staff overall and how sweet they were to me and my dog. read more

I have consistently gotten poorly made drinks here. Weak chai tea, sour dolce, overtly bitter pumpkin spice.... It's like they are using old, cold espresso. The baristas and equipment should be trained and cleaned, respectively. However, saying that; the drive trough staff is usually very friendly and the service is quick. read more

I've always liked this location because it's in my area. Although I forgot his name you had one employee who was a senior and he was the NICEST barista who would go out of his way to make sure I had a nice experience. But I went in there one night with a friend about a month ago to study. We both ordered drinks and food then sat down on our computers. There were I think 2 girls and 1 guy working who looked distracted. We were there until around 9:30 when the music started playing LOUDER all of a sudden (it was "what does the fox say?") we were right in front of the speakers in the big table so I understand that it would be louder. But we were the only ones there along with 2 more people in the room and the volume was unbearable we had to leave. They see that we were deep in our school work, why disrespect and play it louder? I knew they had the option to change the music too and they had to close in 30 minutes but that was very very rude. We left mad and decided we'll go some place else next time. read more

It's a Starbucks. I come here when I have $ on my Sbux card. Otherwise I drink local because I don't like their drip coffee, and that's most often what I want. If you want a proper cappuccino, I suggest you order one when the guy with dark hair and glasses is manning the espresso machine. Some things are different than Sbux back home (E coast). When I order French press here, they ask what size and then give me only that amount. I'm used to ordering, paying for, and receiving the entire press and a mug so I can sip at my leisure. Also, this Sbux will make French press only with what they have open. Perhaps I was spoiled, but I could order any coffee in stock back home. Disappointingly, this Sbux never had (that I noticed) the delicious tiramisu latte that I had elsewhere over the Xmas holiday. read more
