Ordered crème but received caffeine.

Unacceptably slow service, bad attitude and incorrect drinks with refusal to admit/fix them have earned you a bad review and I will not return.

Iced Caramel Macchiato
Austin L.

got an iced caramel macchiato via drive thru and i was online in line for about 5 minutes. the staff was friendly and made my drink quickly. just be weary that their drive thru is quite tight so if you have a truck, which we did, it's a tight squeeze.

Loving the holiday cups! I rarely go to the Starbucks on Hillfield as I am always in Target and just grab coffee there but when I am not wanting to go to Target I'll take a drive to the Starbucks on Hillfield. I did a mobile order so my order was ready when I got there, a little disappointed as usually my Togo orders have stoppers in them and my drinks would be in a carrier, today was not the case, so I had to do it myself. I ordered for myself venti hot white chocolate mocha my go to! A cookies and cream cake pop and iced cinnamon dolce latte, I got home and realized the cake pop was chocolate and not cookies and cream and the Iced cinnamon dolce was more watered down and couldn't really taste the coffee. I usually never had issues at Starbucks, today was a first and semi. But definitely recommend

I love this location!! They are always so friendly and nice and the drive thru is FAST. This and the Farmington location are my favs. Also they gave me a sticker today on my drink!! How cute and fun is that!

I've been to this location many times. Some of the employees are friendlier than the others, but no one is rude or problematic. Some of the younger employees in the past have been screwing around when they should have been working, but that's par for the course. Seating at this location can be sparse during busier times. I've never had an issue with service or product; standard fare.

Hair in the drink

Service was decent and the workers were very friendly but was very disappointed because we found a wad of hair in my coffee

I am a fan of Starbucks when I can't make it to The Daily Rise. I always get a Venti Iced White Chocolate Mocha. It is not as good as the ghost I get from TDR but it is a 2nd favorite. I love this starbucks location. I never feel rushed like I do at other SBs. I like the frappacinos as well. For breakfast I get their sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin. YUM-O. I consider SB to be fast food. There are way too many of them per capita but hey at least I'm caffinated!

An afternoon oasis.

Very slow service. We sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes when there were only two cars ahead of us.

This place is the worst Starbucks I've ever gone to. They always take 15-30 minutes to get my order. Not very friendly service.

Just left this Starbucks and it took 15 minutes for an iced tea. There were so many people "working" but only one person getting drinks out.

Go to another location. These people can't get an order straight if you paid them. Poor service and always the wrong order.

There were a couple of things that made the experience a little challenging. The parking lot was PACKED, and getting in was honestly a bit of a nightmare, especially since we aren't familiar with the area. But honestly, that's a pretty good problem for a business to have! The other thing that confused me was the menu. I had a really hard time finding the actual drink menu, both online and when looking on Yelp. There was one picture of the menu on Yelp, but part of it was blocked, and I still wasn't really sure what all the drink options were. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right place, but it definitely wasn't obvious to me. Luckily, my daughter and her boyfriend knew exactly what they wanted, so we got their drinks, and Sean ordered the same thing as my daughter's boyfriend. I asked the woman working the counter what she recommended, went with her suggestion, and WOW...we were impressed! Once we actually got up to the window, I really loved the whole vibe. It's such a cute little drive-through setup with windows on both sides, and they moved through the line really quickly. The whole experience felt friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the ambience. Now that we know the routine and how everything works we will be back!! The coffee was SO good. Great flavor, and the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and my drink was definitely one I could have gone back for another one of. I seriously considered it, but it was about a 10-15 minute drive away, so I resisted. Even with the parking and menu frustrations, I'm still giving Daily Rise 5 stars because when the coffee is that good and the service is that great, I'm willing to overlook the little inconveniences. Would absolutely stop here again if we're in the area!

I've been a couple of times now, and they have not disappointed once. Today, I ordered a vanilla lavender cold brew with a pistachio soft top, and oh my gosh... it is officially the atta girl drink of the century! Absolutely incredible. Pro-Tip Before You Go: Do yourself a favor and look at their menu online before you pull up. The amount of possibilities they offer is endless, and it can be a little overwhelming if you aren't prepared. That being said, if you do get stuck, the baristas are incredibly nice and patient as you stroll through the many options. Go give them a shot. You won't be disappointed!

The second time was uncomfortable because Karen was loudly spouting some pretty hateful and discriminatory opinions of political and religious nature. BEANS is NOT this kind of environment. Sadly. It's like the owner is trying to out-Woke her own self. I'm lbgtq and disabled. What's happening here is not the kind of advocacy we need. We don't create safe spaces by hating on everyone who is not just exactly like us. Most of us just want to not have constant conflict, confrontation and political or social strife. Standing up for others rights is one thing. Intentionally creating discord is quite another. This experience is not great for anyone with anxiety, or needs peace and calm, with a sensory processing disorder or preference to avoid conflict. Hate doesn't need a seat at the table. Kind of done with that. I'm not coming back. The coffee is good though. So are the baked treats. Had a lot of potential.

It's brilliant than you can…read moreget a bag with the date it was roasted written on the bag by hand, and the bag I got from Harmon's yesterday was roasted about a week ago. That's about as good as you'll ever find for something on a Utah store shelf--especially valuable here where it can be hard to find quality roast in lots of Utah towns. The espresso roast has a rich full medium roast flavor, with some bite and with lots of nutty aftertaste. The beans don't have visible oil, even freshly roasted, so they are easy to weigh accurately for grams per volume in your your portafilter, and they go through your grinder smoothly. I like to try whatever local roasts I can find, but Daily Rise combines the freshness of the roast, the exceptional flavor that results, and the consistency for your machine. Probably I have found my new daily standard. Daily Rise espresso roast is called a medium roast and is roasted to the right level for Italian style espresso, even though most espresso roasts are called a dark roast. Daily Rise seems to reserve the dark roast label for their French roast, and French roast needs to be a way darker roast than an Italian espresso roast, so that makes sense.

It all starts with our San Franciscan 25 pound batch roaster. This machine is small enough to allow us to be a small coffee micro-roaster and hand pick out any defects post-roast, yet large enough to produce upwards of 500+ pounds of fresh coffee beans per day to keep up with demand. In addition to this machine, we found we needed a place to cup, taste and evaluate our coffee. This is the reason behind our custom designed cupping bar layout allowing us to invite the public to experience and enjoy the true, yet complex dynamics surrounding the coffee bean in its purest form. The difference between Daily Rise Roasting Company and other roasters can be experienced as well as tasted.
