Lately, Starbucks seem to be working on its customer service, they are becoming more customer focused. Walking in today, before I can get all the way in the store, the cashier was already greeting me, long distance. She was all smiles and very pleasant. She asked how she can help me. Her engagement felt so natural and it effected me in a way of wanting to engage her. So I ordered a ham and Swiss and I took advantage of the strawberry matcha, I am becoming addicted to the cake. The have a cup section and coffee section, standing near it, you get the sensation that you're at Starbucks and you need a mug. May I say, the mugs pair well with their drinks?lol! I did come in casual attire and I wanted a drink and I was going to buy a mug but I passed because I only had $20 on my gold card; did I mention that I've been a rewards member since forever. Very racist branch and staff. We were warned by a friend that works in the area, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt - I tend to have too much faith in people. My partner and I were genuinely disgusted by the treatment we received - and lack there of. Even the manager, who appeared to be Latina, was selective with her customer service and completely lacking the basic Starbucks warmth and professionalism. We sat and watched them treat literally everyone else with the same friendliness and courtesy, yet as the only two Black people there, simply minding our business and waiting for our drinks, we were clearly targeted with passive-aggressive behavior and dismissive energy. It was obvious, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. Y'all need prayer, accountability, and retraining. We will not be back, and I will absolutely be warning other Black people about this location. read more

However my wife orders the Matcha iced latte with strawberry foam and so many locations mess it up lol this place makes it the best every time! This is literally the best Starbucks on Planet Earth. I have been coming here for 20 years, since my wife and I moved from Brooklyn to Larchmont, and it never disappoints. With seating inside and out, it is the friendliest, fastest, and always has a full supply of tasty food and treats. Kris, who was the first person behind the counter greeting me in 2006 is still there, through thick or thin, always with a smile, a warm greeting, no matter how busy it is inside or how gray it is outside. Not a bad buckys in Larchmont and overall it's better then most I have visited when I need my Starbucks decaffeinated cappy and lemon iced pound cake . Good amount of seating, not crowded , order was correct and good variety of eats to munch on . They keep the place clean and the restrooms get high marks as well. I usually hate leaving bad reviews but this is warranted. So this USED to be my favorite Starbucks but I'm convinced that they have hired someone who hates their job and is purposely messing up orders and is always in a bad mood. Other day ordered an iced espresso NO MILK. Got it with milk. Didn't say anything threw it out. Today was ridiculous. I ordered 2 iced espressos and waited over 20 minutes and the way I received the coffee HAD to have been on purpose. I ordered a triple shot with a SPLASH of cream and got a VENTI that looked like it had ZERO coffee and was a venti cup with milk filled to the top and the cup had caramel lined in it. It's a shame that so many people need jobs and they hire people that hate their jobs and take it out on the customer. I returned the coffee and just asked for a refund to my card which I'm not even seeing. As someone who used to work at Starbucks I would NEVER take it out on a customer. Can't even say I was rude they didn't know who I was it was mobile order. Someone is just mad and is being purposely rude. read more

I think I've visited and reviewed enough Starbucks to differentiate the good ones from the bad. Most actually cut straight down the middle, and when it comes to a big chain that's (mostly) good enough for me - anything else is a nice surprise. I was in the area doing some offsite work things and missed my morning coffee. I was about ready to bite someone's head off when I arrived to order some life's blood. This bux isn't large, but it's in a great location right in the heart of Larchmont village. Even though it has size limitations, there are a few tables to sit and enjoy, though I will say it's a little dark inside and the traffic flow is a little confusing. I ordered my basic coffee which came out just fine, so a total win there. Service was good, and overall this is a solid bux. I don't know when I'll be back, but it's nice to know this one delivers the goods. read more

The most friendly/knowledgeable/smiley baristas in the history of baristas! Kudos to this location. Super clean and modern. Make sure to snag a seat by the windows. I can get a little drafty but the lovely amount of sunshine will surely keep you warm. Also, their new oatmeal with fresh blueberries and nuts is phenom! Normally not a fan of chains/conglomerates but this location is one of the many reasons I will forever be loyal to Sbux. read more

There are a few places to visit in the surrounding area but I find the atmosphere and customer service at this location to of high standards. This location is very good, but if I need to give one important tip, it will be to avoid the rush hours, it can last half an hour to get a coffee. The staff here are nice and professional, so I can't really blame them that they sometime keep me for long time during rush hours, and they always try to do their best. I have never saw them chatting when there are customers waiting for service (As I did in other Starbucks locations). It is a Starbucks, I don't expect them to make magic with the coffee, just to make it quickly, like they always did. Stop here, take coffee, and relax. read more

My mother and I walked into the Starbucks in Larchmont just to pass the time until her art show. When we were settled down at our table, a very nice employee named Justin walked up and asked us to take part in a "Coffee Challenge." We excepted and were given a cup of coffee to taste while eating certain foods that go well with the brew. It was absolutely delicious! The staff are not patient at all if you're deciding what drink you want even if there is no line. The do coffee well anything else like a frappaccino, smoothie or toasted sandwich is not in your best nature to get. They cater to the business people since it is so close to the train line so at 730 am and 6 pm are times to avoid it unless you want to be crowded. My favorite Starbucks ever! I've been coming here for 5 years now, every day and often 2x a day. The staff is incredibly friendly and they knew my name the first week. The place is very spacious and can seat about 20 people, with very good outlets for your laptop. Bathroom is always clean. The line can get a little long about 10 AM on school days when the stay-at-home Moms invade but that's the same for every urban + suburban Starbucks. As a coffee addict, I'm here everyday. The staff are always very warm and friendly no matter how busy things are. The bathroom is very clean 24/7, and they have plenty of seating. It's a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I really enjoy visiting this Starbucks! read more

If I could give zero I would. One of the employees there is so rude. It was 9:30pm and he was aggressively sweeping around me, while slamming chairs. I get it, you want to leave...but Starbucks is open until 10pm, so don't get upset when customers stay until 10pm. If you don't like to stay until 10pm, take a different shift. read more

Starbuck's in Larchmont Village has a top location, but positively the worst coffee I've had in many years. It is so bad, the coffee in non-descript highway places has better. McDonald's is far superior. Dunkin Donuts coffee is so far superior, it's not even close. Why would anyone in their right mind buy Starbuck's coffee. This Starbucks is great except for peak hour. I hate coming here between 8-10 am because the workers are rude and obnoxious. Every time I come in here during these periods I regret coming here.
