Went to Starbucks in Lapeer yesterday with a friend, and was surprised how much this coffee shop has changed, and not in a good way Only has 1 seating corner with 2 chairs , a long table that sat 6 or 8 and another small table. It appeared not to have cleaned in awhile. Paint was dirty and trim dusty, floor had paper and food on them, bath was filthy. Our coffee was good but would not go back, not the comfy coffee shop it should be. Wish I had taken a picture but I did not- I'm sure a manager could fix this easily and hope they do.Lapeer is large enough to need a Starbucks or Panera someday read more

Haley a shift supervisor at this location needs to learn how to properly coach her baristas. It's incredibly inappropriate to yell at your barista, "to get the fuck off the floor" when they are not clocked in. She needs major work on her communication skills. There is no reason you should ever talk to your fellow employees that way. read more

I just stood inside the restaurant and waited 20 minutes to find out they had no coffee. So they say, "what do you want instead?" I wanted to be told when I GOT THERE that my ordered couldn't be filled So I say, "I want a refund." So the kid says, "I just make drinks." Instead of saying, "if you step down to the register they can take care of that." Someone needs to teach their employees about customer service because, frankly, it sucks. Clearly it is not their fault they are out of coffee (and cups) but the way they didn't handle it and let a paying customer stand in store waiting for twenty minutes is just stupid. read more

This Starbucks is nowhere near where I live but when I'm on my way Up North, this has become my favorite place to stop and stretch. The service is fast and friendly. I typically mobile order and my order was made promptly and efficiently. My egg bites were piping hot and my drink was made perfectly. The barista even apologized for taking so long, yet I only waited about two minutes after I placed my order. The restrooms have been clean, along with the rest of the sitting area. There's several tables and even a couple soft chairs to sit and mingle with your friends. There's also a few patio tables outside. Parking lot isn't great. Both times I've been here I've parked a little further away and walked. read more

I recommend people to get the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino because everything combined is one bomb with a delicious flavor and texture, and it's also a good idea by Starbucks to make it a frappuccino instead of a limited time drink you can only get for a certain amount of time. I used to love Starbucks, but this one kinda sucks now. If you order online 30 min ahead, you then wait ANOTHER 30 min inside because your drink isn't made yet! They finally took off ordering online it appears, I can only guess due to awful wait times. They seem to put more interest on the drive thru rather than going in order if how they orders come in. If an online or walk in order comes in before a truck that was 8 cars back when a customer walks in, their drink should be made, they shouldn't have to see that truck getting their order in the drive thru whole you're still waiting on yours. I really wish Lapeer would have let BIGGBY go closer into town. read more

Was tired of going to the drive-thru at Starbucks as I hate their signs for ordering since there's so much you can get that's not on the menu...so was happy to see we could actually go inside to order. There was no one else in there other than 1 person who picked up their order. I went in with my daughter, so you could obviously see that there were TWO of us. Not sure why, but the guy behind the counter put out very poor customer service. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES AT COUNTER. I held out my phone for him to scan, he ignored it. Then took my order and said my total ignoring the fact that my daughter was standing right there and didn't order yet. No apology, and after taking her order finally scanned my phone. Friendliness was out the door that day. For customer service-that's why only 3 stars. Girl on pickup was fine. We were in on Wednesday March 24th. As for Covid protocol-we had on our masks and were happy to be able to go inside to order. They aren't allowing indoor seating yet. read more

I went to this starbucks this morning as I do a lot of the time. I usually love this starbucks but today I had the unfortunate discovery of some type of gunk in my ice. I did not realize it unfortunately until after I drank a good amount of the drink. This is my go to Starbucks that has the best most amazing workers but also a clean friendly environment! I love my Starbucks! This location is a bit of a drive from the expressway but is still convenient. My problem with this location is THE DRINKS! I usually can't sip my drink until 10 minutes later, (this is my problem not their's), but 80% of the time the latte is usually the wrong flavor or is very, very, bitter strong. Their drinks and breakfast sandwiches are very good, that is why I decided to go here the other morning. I brought my son and daughter. ( This place has better breakfast than McDonald's in my opinion) The place barely has seating, no highchairs or boosters though. NOT KID FRIENDLY. So I felt out of place. They have one big table which would've helped but one man was at it; with all of his stuff everywhere as if it was his office, so my two kids & I were sharing a chair in order to eat. Service is great while your ordering, but afterwards they do not speak to you, or ask if you need anything else. read more

I love Starbucks and this location has very good service. My issue here is that the quality is so sporadic I can't give this more stars. The same coffee order can taste completely different from day to day. They are very good about making up any issue you may have but I don't want to have to complain every other visit so I can get a good coffee. I think this is a very nice starbuck's! I just went two days ago. It is a pretty big, compared to the one in grand blanc. The caramel macchiato was good, and so was the croissant. This review is about the baristas. I don't think I have ever met someone as nice, cheery, and friendly as the taller one with the dark hair and glasses. She genuinely makes my day, makes the atmosphere so comfortable and familiar, makes her customers feel at ease and at home. She is the one who brings around free samples. Even when the place is crowded, and she has to clean something up or whatever, she is still so cheery and joyful. People like her restore my faith in humanity, honestly. She's one of the best people I've ever met. I think she deserves some kind of gift or something. All of the baristas working here are so nice, and not even in the fake-polite way jobs require you to be. They seem like they are always having fun, always happy to be working and serving people the drinks they love. I love it here. read more

my first experience with starbucks was today and they made me the wrong drink. i ordered a trenta iced white tea lemonade because it seemed good, and even had to correct the cashier when she read back to me the order and she put it in wrong. i got my tea back it just looked like there was more tea than lemonade which i wasn't upset about, but when i tasted it i found out they gave me peach tea instead. i'm pretty disappointed at this considering 1. i already corrected the cashier about my order once and 2. the sticker on the side of my cup had the right order on it. this is just lack of attention to the job and i'm not sure i'll be returning. read more

The coffee is generally good and service outstanding! But to describe the overall experience I would have to say it's disappointing... Two things stand out - horrible music selections and a staff that is way too loud!! There is constant banter back and forth and its disturbing early in the morning when trying to plan my day. I realize that this is Starbucks and not MY OFFICE, but I think if the volume of voices gets turned up, it should be the result of enthusiastic patrons, not baristas and management. read more
