On a cold December night when we were walking around town it was bliss. We got a dozen to split/take home and when we got our order the bag was piping hot so I was forced to wait a minute which was VERY difficult. Ha. But they were worth the wait. We scarfed down a few right away and saved the rest for later. They actually warmed up really well the next day and were perfect with coffee on the couch on my first Sunday morning of holiday vacation. We also got chocolate, caramel, and cinnamon dipping sauces but honestly I liked them best plain. The cinnamon was my favorite of the three, though. The line was relatively long the Saturday night before Christmas but they had it down and it moved quickly. Both for ordering and getting our food. They also serve up hot cocoa, coffee, gator bites (yes, actual gator), and gumbo if your'e feeling peckish and/or adventurous. But we stuck with dessert and couldn't have been happier.

They have wide surface tables which makes this place great for studying and working. Bonus they also had semi private rooms to use. Plugs and free wifi. The parking situation is great. The bigger issue for me is the pricing and consistency. Charging an extra $1 for alternative milk in 2026 feels a little like cash grab? Especially when a lot of people order it out of necessity, not preference. On top of that, the specialty lattes have gone up another dollar in the past year, which makes the quality even more important. I've had good drinks here before, so I know they CAN do it well but this last visit was rough. My $6.50 "specialty" latte tasted like burnt coffee water with none of the flavor I ordered. For that 20% increase in price, I expect to actually taste the specialty part. That said, the employees were genuinely kind and super helpful. They happily added more almond milk to help salvage my very sad latte, and I appreciated their attitude a lot. Overall it's a cute spot with sweet staff, but the pricing and drink consistency need some serious attention. I'd love to see them tighten things up because it really could be great.

The building was once a doctor's office of some kind and you can kinda spy how the layout was and what has and has not changed since its transformation into a cafe. The outside still looks slightly like an old doctor's office, but the owners really went a long way in making the most of the location and renovating it into a nice little coffee shop for the local area. It's located right by the corner of a major subdivision, so the neighbors really must be pleased to have a cafe so close by to grab coffee or tea on their walks or while jogging, or simply on their way to work in the morning. The ambiance inside is cozy, but you can definitely tell it was once a doctor's office (you can see how the old office was laid out- waiting room, reception desk, offices in the back, etc), but it doesn't They sell Fireside Coffee here and and the usual smoothies, lattes, mochas, teas, pour over coffees, etc, as well as a limited line of fresh baked pastries, bagels and muffins, plus some iced beverages, like Red Bull and whatnot. I ordered an iced Salted Caramel Latte, but wound up getting a hot version of the same drink instead because the girl waiting on me misheard me. She quickly realized the mistake and offered to remake me a new iced drink, though I said it was okay and just took the already made drink because it wasn't a big deal to me. Iced, hot, whatever, I didn't really care, so it was fine. My husband ordered a traditional mocha. Both were excellent. We had no real complaints. Customer service, other than the small hiccup concerning my drink, was excellent. The barista was super nice and chill. She pointed out the retail section of the store, where they sell Chill Coffee Cafe branded gear, including t-shirts, mugs, bags of coffee, and more. The free WI-FI signal was strong and didn't interfere with the apps on my phone (some places have super sketchy WI-FI connections and it's preferable to pass on the free WI-FI). The cafe had a nice, quiet area in the back, with comfy chairs, a fireplace and a big screen TV. Further back, they had a private meeting room where they apparently host a children's event every week on the weekends. Up front, there was another seating area near the counter, with plenty of charging stations for phones, tablets and laptops. I liked the space, it was cozy and inviting and a nice place to work or study. Pricing is comparable to most other coffee shops in the area, but the menu is a little limited. I would like a bit more variety, but this is still a new business. Maybe once they have perfected things they'll offer more? Anyway, it's a decent place to get coffee and read or get some work done. I'm glad it's close and on my way to work.
