Starbucks coffee is fair, definitely not great. This location is typical Starbucks. But, their parking lot is way better than those stores that are on a lot dedicated to just Starbucks (examples: La Mirada / Imperial and Colima / Whittier). This location has plenty of easy access parking in a shopping center. Even when busy there's places to park. Now, if they could just improve their coffee. read more

This place is great. Consistently good service and a very friendly staff. The one thing is that parking can be super difficult to find, and there are always a lot of Biola students there studying. This is not the nicest Starbucks and it's not in the most beautiful area (in my opinion), it is small, but clean. The parking is good, there is a huge parking lot surrounding it. Sometimes it's hard to park up close. It is usually full of students taking up space, there are universities and colleges surrounding it. They usually have great service and they are very friendly here! They make the drinks well and I enjoy meeting people here when I can find a place to sit. They are helpful if a drink is done wrong as well. It's an okay Starbucks location. read more

I love their coffee but no longer want to go to this location due to the inconsistency of service when I pick up my mobile orders. I have come into the store a number of times to pick up my drink in the area where you pick up mobile orders and I can see that my drink is sitting on the back counter but I end up waiting for them to place it into the designated area. Minutes go by so I usually end up having to go up to the cashier and tell them that I am there for a mobile order. They usually tell me to pick up mobile orders on the other side ( and I'm not stupid. I can read the sign that says where to pick up mobile orders) but then I have to go and tell them that I can clearly see my drink on the back counter and I can clearly see that some of the ice in my drink has already started to melt. They will usually look at me weird and I end up being right ---it was my drink sitting on the back counter the entire time and this is the only location I've had out of all the Starbucks in this area where I have this problem with people not being consistent about where they are placing their mobile orders :/. On top of that the area where they place the mobile orders always has a ton of random merchandise that hasn't been stocked neatly surrounding it so it's hard to tell if they're using it or not.. there are other cashiers and barista's who don't do this and for that I deeply appreciate it but this is happened more than three times to me so I finally decided to leave a review. read more

Unfriendly. You don't have to be super nice and bubbly 24/7 (especially that early in the morning haha) but rule of thumb for customer service; be nice and polite. The cashier might be the same Hae Y. H. mentioned in a previous review. Her and a barista (dark hair with facial hair) completely ruined my day - even though I didn't show it. But they were rude and gave me a "wtf-face" when I was getting my drink. Luckily, the other barista (male, blonde, clean cut) who was at least nice, made my drink - correctly. He's getting one full star! So here's why they gave me a "wtf-face": I normally get a grande espresso drink with a single shot (it comes with 2 shots) and I pay for it as a tall - or maybe a little more, not sure, but never as a grande since I'm getting it with only one shot - I've seen this transaction on a receipt I got in other establishments too. But they didn't understand me, so I rephrased it (I probably said something like "... grande with one shot"). I rarely go to the same Starbucks and every Starbucks I've been to did the same - EXCEPT this establishment. Honestly, it's not about paying less and getting more, it's about always getting the same drink at the same price at any other Starbucks and expecting the same at any other Starbucks you feel like going next. So technically I ended up paying more than what I usually pay for the drink... and sucking up their shitty attitude. To cashier and barista: If there was a "how to ruin someone's day in a min" competition, I would bet my savings on you two. You both got talent! Cheers! Oh and obviously, I'm not planning to go back to his place until I see better reviews. There are plenty of other Starbucks and coffee shops (even in the same plaza) to choose from. ...And I'll probably start my day in a better mood than I did today. read more

Not knowing anything about coffee I asked what the difference was between iced americano, iced coffee and cold brew and she nicely broke down everything for me. I was short 25¢ and she said "don't worry I got it." after looking for spare change in my purse. She said if I didn't like the Americano she would change it out for another drink for me. I don't ask for much when I come here, a toasted plain bagel and an iced coffee. My bagel is barely toasted and I always ask for no cream cheese or butter(lactose intolerant) and they always give it to me. Maybe the workers could work on the hearing/listening better. WORST STARBUCKS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I go to Starbucks a lot, I have been a Gold card customer for yearss, and this Starbucks has the worst service, the girls who work here are snotty and rude (evening shift Teusday, May 10, 2016). They even charged me extra for getting 2 inches half&half in my Venti coffee! I spend several hundred dollars a year at Starbucks and have never been charged for half&half, when I complained the associate said very snippy "that is over 4oz's of half&half I'll have to charge you extra". Talk about CHEAP! I guess all Starbucks will be doing this now, how unfriendly. OH, and after drinking several venti coffees don't ask to use the bathroom, it was "in use" for 4 hours, with no one using it, hmmm. I will be rethinking where I go for coffee in the future, and it won't be Starbucks. read more

For the coffee lover and WiFi nut, the one thing they do well (if you like to be buzzed) is coffee. The low marks are for the dampening device that blocks cell phone signals and not being able to easily connect to that "free" WiFi. read more

This is my second time placing a mobile order and the second time my order was not ready upon arrival. I even waited 5 minutes before I asked if they even received my mobile order. One of the employees pulled a whole bunch of receipts waiting at the printer before finding my order. Friendly people, but just not attentive. I don't recommend using the mobile order feature. read more

My experience today: Two workers slammed by the incredible amount of customers. One "worker" named Justin. Just asked Justin if the umbrellas could be placed outside since the sun is blazing. His curt response was, "As you can see they are very busy, so it will be a while", as he picked up the drink which had been made for him, added some extra caramel and turned his back. Customer Service: You know Starbucks, when I take the time to order coffee travelers the night before an early morning meeting, it would be really nice to have them ready or close to ready when I arrive at the time I said I would instead of starting the order after I paid for it.
