This Starbucks definitely deserves more than 3-1/2 stars due to the wonderful crew, shout out to Alex, Daisy, Melissa, Dani, Shania, Savanna, Natalie, Ariel, Devin! They welcome everyone upon entering, similar to Shin-Sen-Gumi ramen restaurants. They also do a great job knowing their regulars by name. That didn't happen in Burbank or DTLA. Ambiance is cookie-cutter Starbucks, but you won't find a cleaner location. More kudos to the entire staff - they're always on the move! When it's slow, they're cleaning, restocking, taking inventory, hauling out the garbage, and servicing the restroom. Food is also typical Starbucks. Kinda expensive for small portions. Melissa turned me onto the Truff green and red hot sauces, so that's a big improvement. Pictured is the Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap which is fairly big but not much meat. The pockets are tasty, but small, so I usually go for a sandwich. Turkey, Provolone & Pesto on Ciabatta is still on the website but unavailable according to a barista, who said it was her favorite. Reviews here that say orders were wrong probably got the wrong location. I already had Yelp remove one because there's no drive-thru here. My orders have been correct and very consistent (granted I don't make it complicated like Steve Martin in LA Story). read more

Very dissatisfied with customer service I had an ordered a Venti size passion tea. When I got there, it was a Grande. When I said it was the wrong size. She asked me if it was a mobile order, I replied, yes. I have it wrong or the person that ordered however, never did she offered to upgrade it at an additional fee or just upgraded for good customer service. I usually come here because it's close and my go to spot, but whenever i get my own bottle filled, they barely give me anything. Today I barely drank out of the bottle but I had already run out so I open my bottle and around 80% of the bottle was just ice. I'd advise not using your own bottle here and rather just doing a normal order and pouring it into your own cup. read more

WORSE Starbucks I've ever been to!!! I placed an order, one hot coffee and 2 egg bites. I saw a woman upset waiting for her order, she was visibly angry and when her she received it and heard her say "ridiculous" as she left (still upset) and I thought to myself, oh man I hope this doesn't take long. My coworker ordered 6 drinks and a food item. When I arrived, they greeted me properly and I was helped by "Elizabeth" whom was very attentive to my needs, she asked if I needed a bag or extra cup holders and immediately I said "yes please", she gave one to me and even came from behind her counter to open the door for me. This is the worst Starbucks place I've ever been to. It has been newly remodeled, but the people who worked there are the same, so when you order coffee, the taste is different every time you order. The person who works here seems to be more important to spend time chatting with colleagues than it is important to make and serving coffee with the same taste to customers. My name was on the outside of the coffee cup, so I checked that it was mine and tried to take it, but the other Frappuccino I ordered was not ready, so the worker stopped me from taking my coffee. My coffee was already made, but they had no intention of giving it to customers, and the workers were busy chatting and playing among themselves, so all the ice in the coffee melted and the ice was almost gone. Of course, the taste was too bland. Of course, the Frappuccino also tasted strange. There was no taste because something was missing from the contents, and it just tasted like crushed ice. If you want a regular Starbucks taste, you might not want to go here. read more

Not knowing that they changed the name of the drink. When i told them they attempted to make my original drink ... homie that was a iced latte. So going home i stopped by this Starbucks.. Friendly staff, never get messed up drinks and always seems like a great day at Starbucks! So many people come here from young to old. Everyone is in here and sipping drinks ! Which is why I think this place is alright but it gets soo crowded sometimes that I have to actually leave and not get anything because no seats are available. I love how the seating arrangement is and they do have two bathrooms in the back one for men and one for the ladies. The bathrooms are always clean and if it isn't they clean it fast as possible. This place also has a bar table with a few high seats which are pretty nice and cool! :) I come here quite a bit to study and drink a cup of coffee with no sugar or have some really nice hot tea that is made by TAZO. One of my dislikes is they need to change the bakery section really bad. All the things in the display are soo sweet and I really think have way too many calories for what you eat. If you dare to try go ahead but I do warn that they are pretty sweet and not that great! read more

Best Starbucks in La Mirada. I'm very happy this Starbucks location got a lot better compared to the bad experience I had last year. I'm pretty sure they finally removed all or most of the horrible employees that I've had problems with. 4 reviewers who wrote negative reviews last year know exactly what I'm talking about, just ask them. That's why I've decided to give this Starbucks another chance. I'm bummed to update my review, but I was very disappointed and upset over my hot chocolate yesterday. My boyfriend and I stopped by before 9:00am Sunday morning. Staff was super nice and friendly. I still have gift cards so I transferred all the balances onto one and paid using my phone through my Starbucks account (not Apple pay, but they do accept it here). Croissant was good, boyfriend's coffee was good, and my hot chocolate was barely present at the party. I asked for it without whipped cream- my usual. Usually it's filled to the top since no space is needed for the unwanted topping. Unfortunately, yesterday they missed the mark and gave me a half (at best) cup of hot chocolate. I'm probably the most critical of customer service cause my standards are very high and I'm observant of the fact that if a rep cares about me simply as a customer. Gotten mobile orders here a few times. This morning, 8/26 I stood directly in front of mobile pick up station to b ignored by all the female workers there. I stood there for 3 entire minutes while no one greeted me or asked if I had a pick up. Several other people came in and out and got served immediately when they walked up but for some reason these girls wouldn't even acknowledge me. Elizabeth who ignored me the entire time I stood there suddenly asked if I had a mobile order once she saw I went to the front register to try to get helped. Ignored me the entire time I stood in front of her then when she saw me walk to the front register she was suddenly ready to be of service. My drink was sitting without ice in it and the lid off the entire time I was in the store. Absolutely made me feel like I was invisible or like they purposely were avoiding helping me.
