First off its Starbucks, which I like when traveling just because it's all pretty much the same and I know what to expect. Got a coffee and a breakfast sandwich with worked out great. Staff was nice and patient with us as we tried to decide what we wanted to order. Absolutely terrible service. I walk in with my wife - we are the only ones in here. There are about 5-6 employees behind the counter. I stand at the start of the line and wait. 2 different ladies look directly at me 3 different times and don't say anything, but carry on their conversation as if I'm not there waiting to get coffee at this coffee establishment. When they finally take my order, I give them my wife's drink, then Ashe hands me off to another employee to take the rest of my order. Ok. Fine. Except, this lady is even more incompetent, blaming the even further delay on the computer. After I finally get my order in, it takes another 20 minutes to make my drinks. Despite 2 parties, and 4 drinks ordered AFTER me get sent out before I get mine. Then, they get half my order, finally asking me, "What are you waiting for, hon?" I told them, and the "barista" says I never it that. Ok. Point the finger. I'm not waiting. Wtf. Terrible service. No wonder they suck. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks for years. This is the Starbucks I most prefer in the area because the staff has always been very friendly and prompt. If ever they make a drink incorrectly, they do all they can to make it right for me! Special orders are always met with a smile and helpfulness, and even new drink suggestions. Being the only drive-through coffee joint in town, sometimes they get bogged down, but are always willing to make things right by me, and I can see them working hard to get things done!! My husband loooves Starbucks (or just coffee in general) and just had to stop at one when we were in the middle of nowhere. So, as we approached Kingman, we threw it into the GPS and stopped by. It looks fairly new, but we only went through the drive-thru. The window where you pay was ridiculously high which led us to believe that a lot of their customers drive trucks. I know this review is a little outside of the norm, but this location was worth a shout out! My brother and I were passing through Kingman last night after 14 hours on the road and I had completely forgotten to purchase an Arizona "You Are Here" cup. Since we were headed to California, this is pretty much the last Starbucks before crossing the state line so this was my chance to pick one up. Not too mention, I have made this drive before but the 2 different Arizona Starbucks were out of stock during my stops so my determination was running strong last night. This was my own fault for not remembering until the last minute too. Anyway, this location had locked their doors, still had the drive thru open, and were closing in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we were cruising in our U-haul which prevents any window service action. I decided to give them a call and the manager let me make a purchase and I couldn't have been happier with him making this exception as I would have been devastated and disappointed in myself. And yes, this is all over an $11 cup....don't judge! Anyway, he was so kind and understanding so thank you for helping a traveling girl out! Much appreciated! read more

Really miss my Phoenix Starbucks when I'm here working in Kingman. Why live up to the promise when the isn't much for competition!!! ALL I WANTED WAS MY STARBUCKS COFFEE!! Hope corporate sees this. This is the last Starbucks before crossing state lines then the next one is pretty much another 1 hr away. I'm going on the 4th hour out of 8, heading back home to LA from AZ (GrandCanyon) trying to make it to this Sbux which it says they close at 930pm. It's 920pm and I pull up, park, try to open the doors and they are locked. Employees say they are closed and dont acknowledge I made it before closing hours. Their reason is that they changed their closing hours. NOT MY FAULT RIGHT!? Not even to use the rr. 0 STARS!! All I wanted was my STARBUCKS coffee for the road. read more

Had a return that couldn't be handles due to the SKU not being on the item, even though I had my receipt. Samantha and Dane were trying very hard to accommodate me, but we're unable to due their computer system. Both were VERY friendly and professional. I called back with what I believed to be the number, and was told by Dane he would return my call in a few moments . Being in customer service, I was hoping he would follow through, and he did, which I appreciated. The SKU was correct, and I was able to do my return. I love Starbucks and their coffee but I really love the app and having a gold card. The wait times could be better but with mobile order I can use it for the days I am in a hurry. Everyone is friendly and has great recommendations. Orders tend to get messed up sometimes when they are really busy though. read more

Honestly I don't understand why people would go to this Starbucks when the other Starbucks in the other Safeway is so much more better. The barista's in the Starbucks seem to be very lazy and really no customer service skills. The other Starbucks and the other Safeway on the corner of Stockton Hill and Gordon Road just 10 times better the barista's there seem to have great customer service skills. Especially the Starbucks manager Amber she is outstanding very knowledgeable about her job always friendly always smiling. Love going in there and seeing her she not only makes my day better with her smiling face can rock out a great cuppa coffee. One of the other girls Raylene is really good as well. read more

The staff at the Kingman Starbucks are friendly, remember your name and can remember your favorite drink. They are always willing to make a drink on the secret menu and not seem put off by it. The store is kept clean and it's always aesthetically pleasing . Should a problem arise the manger / managers are quick to correct the problem . I walked in and waited at least 4 or 5 minutes to be acknowledged by the Starbucks partner, who stood directly in front of me. It seemed that he was on the phone with an IT issue regarding the registers. He didn't even make eye contact, show any sort of manners in acknowledging that I was there. Then, another parter finally saw me and came over from drive thru. While she was ringing up my drink, I saw another parter sneeze while making drinks and continue on as if nothing happened. Me and a passenger were going to Starbucks to chill out after a long sports game. I ordered an Iced Hot Chocolate( Chocolate Milk, but they always forget to add the vanilla) and then my passenger asked for a iced latte with caramel sauce. This Starbucks is terrible. I work at Starbucks and always give the employees the benefit of the doubt and try to be extremely patient and understanding as I know how busy and hectic working there can get. I went inside to order and was the only one standing in line. It took 3 minutes for the worker to take my order even though there was other workers wiping down counters and standing around. If you are busy I don't mind at all waiting that long, but when you have multiple people who aren't doing anything, I lose patience. When I finally ordered I was prepared with my phone out and told the worker and I have few separate rewards to use, as I know if can be frustrating to punch everything into the register only to be told the customer wants it rung up separately. I immediately received attitude for this request. I ignore it and apologize for that being an inconvenience and place my order. Also on a side note I would not have done multiple transactions had there been a line behind me. I was the only one in line until I ordered my last drink!! So I go to finish of my order which included food and a drink and a mug and I ask for a venti water. The lady tells me she can only do grande. Are you joking?? Ok now I'm pissed. Not only have I been patient, but I bought items and am a paying customer and I can't get a FREE venting water?? It had absolutely no effect on the workers paycheck. It is free. Who the heck cares what size it is ESPECIALLY when I've already given business with my other purchases. When I go to check out and give the worker my worker discount card and she realizes I also work for Starbucks, it was only then that she completely changed her attitude and was nice to me. Too little too late. When I went to get my drinks at the hand off bar I asked for an additional water.
