The interior has a cute roasting station. I spoke briefly with the manager/owner (Greg) who has operated in this location for about 5 years. I had a large cup of brewed coffee (it was a medium roast) with 2% milk. Wow! This delightful cup of coffee kept me awake for the remaining drive. Note to readers - this is more of a "grab-n-go" place that does not have much indoor seating. Thank you Yelp for leading me to this coffeehouse tucked in a hidden area of Johnson City, TN. If you're a student at ETSU, it's worth the 5-6 minute drive to get freshly brewed coffee here. If you are driving between Asheville, NC and Abingdon, VA and sorely in need of something a bit stronger than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, I would recommend Pike House Coffee in a heartbeat.

Sounds like a good problem, but it was extremely garlic heavy and made the toast soggy and kinda gross. Pretty average shop, nothing particularly special or distinctive about it. Service was also sub-par. Baristas didn't know much about the coffee and seemed pretty disinterested when asked specific coffee questions. Probably won't want to come back when I'm in town.

My husband ordered an Americano (black) and enjoyed it. I had their matcha which does come pre sweetened. I prefer a matcha with no sweeteners so that's why I dropped 1 Star. Love the location as it's easy to find for someone who is traveling through the area.
