Jesus. This Starbucks was terribly, unnecessarily slow. I placed a mobile order and 8 minutes later it still wasn't ready. I asked if I had missed it or something and the male barista last night wasn't even aware I had placed a mobile order. 5+ minutes later I got my nitro coffee. I had to wait around several minutes more to ask for some cream since they had none out. This place was NOT busy just mismanaged. The same thing happened to my husbands mobile order. (We ordered his separately - after he used restroom.) and again, they weren't even AWARE of his mobile order until he brought it to their attention. Once we got our drinks they were fine but definitely not worth the trouble. The building looks great but you guys have got to work on your staff. read more

Union University Starbucks Focus on these things 1. Cleanliness 2. Friendliness 3. Customer Experience Drive-thru Clerks Dirty fingernails (which means unwashed hands) hair all over the place, dirty clothes. Hair was on my drink one-time. Ladies, brush your hair before going to work and put it in a pony tail or have a head band on it. If you wear weave, comb it out and wash the edges and parts. A smile goes a long way as well as a thank you. Drinks LISTEN to the customer. If someone orders non dairy, listen and REPEAT the milk choice. I had ordered a soy chai latte and they put 2 % milk in it . . .when I asked for a remake, the clerk put coconut milk in it. Managers Hold people accountable. You aren't their buddy. You're the manager. The best employee there is the young man who has a disability. He works in drive-thru. He is so professional and is the hardest worker. He is very thorough and I appreciate him so much. He has a neat and clean appearance and has a warm and inviting presence. Because of what he's enduring, he would have an excuse to complain or be rude but he is so nice. read more

This is by far my most favorite Starbucks in town. Everyone is SUPER friendly and always get my order right!! The only down side is it can be a pain in the rear to get into and out of, but hey it's worth it for the great service they provide each and every time!! read more

I tend to be up pretty early in the morning, and when I was looking for some coffee in Jackson before setting out for points west, this was the only place acceptable to me. I can always count on Starbucks to serve an average, solid cup of coffee, and this location did not disappoint. I got a latte and spent 45 minutes writing on my computer in the corner. This location isn't great for working; the shop is filled with bar style tables and chairs, almost none of which have power access, but the coffee was decent and the staff was friendly. For me, Starbucks is what independent coffee shops have to beat, and this location did not disappoint. read more

Visited this very nice Starbucks today near the entrance to Union University. Great location, very clean store, friendly staff, and great coffee. Pleasant atmosphere with plenty of seating and comfortable chairs. Andrew helped us with our order and was polite, friendly, and efficient. I appreciate the service and quality of the experience. I've had great experiences with all the Jackson Starbucks including this one at Union University. Today I ordered a tall hot chocolate and a tall dark roast on drive thru. The coffee was great until I got to the bottom and got a mouthful of coffee grounds. How is that? Never had that at any Starbucks store before. read more
