Well Starbucks has a great selection of food. Coffee is very powerful. You need a kick go to Starbucks lol. I have had a great experience, however there was this one last time I ordered the eggs . Something told me not to eat them but I did anyway. I regretted it. Those eggs had my stomach flipping for 3 days . We'll turns out it was a bit of food poisoning. Yuck. About 20 minutes in to my hour and a half long drive back home, I needed some pick me up and a bathroom stop. This Starbucks location was super conveniently located right off the highway, so I made a quick pit stop. I placed a mobile order and headed into the bathroom, which was not totally clean but not as bad as some Starbucks bathrooms that I've experienced (and probably better than any gas station stop I could've made along the way, so I'll take it. This location was clean, can't speak to the food but my latte was well made and to my liking. They were pretty busy when I stopped in so I had to wait a bit for my order, but overall not a bad stop. Not a bad Starbucks. If you're in the area or if you need a pit stop along the way off the highway, this will do the trick. read more

By far the worst Starbucks I have ever attended. No greeting by any of the workers and it appeared that I was bothering them when I stepped to the counter to order. Then the barista slid my almost $10 latte across the counter with no words exchanged. During these tough government shut down days; $10 coffees are not needed. I can't say I'm going to write an exciting review here about some standalone coffee shop filled with amazing handcrafted drinks and fantastic service with a glorious ambiance, but I will try to make this review of Starbucks halfway decent. I mean I would put this Islandia location towards the top of the list of Starbucks that I've frequented. It's definitely better than my old New Hyde Park location that I would frequent and I'd put it up there with the Medford spot that always seemed pretty "with it." They deserve some credit in Islandia just because they have a drive-thru (which the other two just mentioned don't have) and they never seem to be massively backed up on their drink orders. That's probably my biggest gripe with any Starbucks is the slowness/hectic nature of the way they make drinks. Sometimes it just feels like they've forgotten about my often-simple-to-create coffee (vanilla sweet cream cold brew is the usual order) as I watch other concoctions get mixed and names get called out. Though at this Starbucks? I've never waited more than a few minutes tops for my drink/drinks to be ready. Plus I'll say that the vibe in here feels friendly. The baristas usually seem to be playing some lively music and will occasionally stop to ask your name and what drinks you're waiting for. And most importantly, the coffee they blend together tastes consistent and the way it should. Nobody is perfect and of course there are some days that this 'Bucks isn't hitting the way it usually does, but those days have been few and far between. Overall, this Starbucks spot doles out the drinks you expect from any of these Seattle-originated storefronts. It works well as a quick on-off-on location for those heading west on the LIE and you have a good chance of acquiring your drink quickly and with some decent service (oh and quality). EVERY single time I go they mess my order up or give me the wrong drink or forget to add what I've paid for. The staff is so incredibly rude. I've tried to mention that I was given the wrong drink but as i started talking she slammed the drive thru window closed on me. I know of multiple other people who live in the area and have the same issues. Great location off 495 but horrible staff unfortunately. read more

So today was my first time ever going to a Starbucks ever. I was told from my sister that this location had very friendly barista's there. I walked into the establishment. No one makes eye contact with me. I stand in front of the register maybe about three minutes before someone walks over to me. No smile or anything - not one person in that establishment had a smile or look like they were happy to be there I just got a "can I help you" Everyone look like they just left a funeral. Will I go back to Starbucks yes, when I go back to this location, never! For a first timer, very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Do not buy gift cards from this store or use your app there. On 2 occasions I have purchased gift cards there and when I try to use the card, I am told it is not activated and has zero balance. I have the charge on my bank statement but that is not enough for them. Last incident was 9/11, I purchased a $50 card and coffee/muffin. The lady at the register offered me two receipts. At end of the transaction she handed me receipts and card and i assumed both receipts were together (my mistake). Yesterday I try to use the card there and I'm told its not activated and has no money. I went back with my bank statement, as realized I didn't get a receipt for the card, but they won't credit me or return my money. I called the 800 number on back of the card and they are as useless and will "try to determine what happened" and will eventually "email me." The same happened to my brother last holiday season with a $200 gift card. There is definitely something shady going on there with gift cards. I just called my bank to dispute the charge since they don't seem interested in working this out with me. read more

Finally this Starbucks made its way to Yelp! I've been here a couple of times and each time I've gone through drive through. Each time there may be one or two cars but the service is so efficient and quick that I forget I'm on line. This Starbucks although still pretty new is pretty awesome! The service is great and my bevy is always good. Whether it's a Hot Non fat Latte or an ice cold Green Tea Lemonade it's good. Islandia Starbucks welcome to the community! There is a manager named Arianna who insist on charging me for my refill...and it's not just that only... it is her poor attitude that prompted my review. Even told me only gold members get tea refilled...yet I know how the app works. Now I understand putting a bad review on a Starbucks worker is tacky...however she has a history of giving me difficulty like when I order a pour over. Maybe time for re-training this manager. If I can rate this store a 0, I would. I ordered 3 drinks, received one 10 minutes after I placed the order, and waited another 20 minutes for my other 2 after repeated requests. On top of that, they didn't even have any straws, so take a wild guess how I'm enjoying my melted Frappuccino. Here's the Scoop: The new Starbucks is across from BJs. The same spot Hooters use to be. The area is perfect because right next to the 495 entrance. Great for those needing a coffee to get through their long drive to work. The entrance is arranged using the small dining area excellently. They have a friendly warm inviting staff willing to help with any mixology you can come up with. Colors are relaxing and give you a whooza feeling. I got a signature drink and it was prepared to my specifications. I'm not a regular coffee drinker but I enjoyed a cold coffee drink. Not a fan. I've been here a few times and the service is a mixed bag. My biggest complaint is that there was one night when I stopped in, expecting they were open for another twenty minutes and the door was closed and locked. They were inside cleaning and had locked the doors early. Not cool. I've been to most of the Starbucks around the central Suffolk area and usually don't have much to complain about. Used to be my favorite Starbucks! The last 3 times I went here the order was screwed up. Twice the hot coffee was Luke warm and old. Today I order 2 Venti iced teas and they gave me only one. Pretty much the same formula for all the Starbucks's locations except this one had an extremely busy drive-through which, based on its' location right next to the Long Island Expressway, did not surprise me. Always a warm welcome and an efficient crew behind the counter. This store is big and bright with large windows in the front. There was plenty of seating and with this location, you can be sure a great business meeting spot. One of my pet peeves has always been consistency. For all that I have seen, the Starbucks locations are always consistent with an exceptional crew, great food choices (which always seem to be changing,) and of course... Great Coffee! read more

Went through the drive through today at around 1:20-1:30 the lady that took our card was nasty as hell I noticed something wrong with my drink so I said something and she had a nasty attitude about it. Then proceeds go give us our drinks and food without returning our card which I had to get another workers attention for help since I was not gonna drive off without our card. If you are having a bad day do not take it out on a customer when I was polite to you I usually love coming here but after today I don't think so. read more

The team here thinks they're smarter than everyone else. They don't listen to drink requests - such as "extra hot". They also don't adjust your drinks if they've made a mistake. And they've created their own process for mobile pickup. They won't tell you that the drink is ready. And they complain you you when you ask why. Just had the nasty experience at the Starbucks, which is a shame because it's usually the good one in the neighborhood. A new employee was working the window today and kept pulling her mask away from her face. She also kept pushing her hair back because she had pieces of it hanging in front of her eyes. When I ask to speak to the manager and explained that I didn't feel comfortable with the girl handling my food and covid-19, the manager got extremely nasty with me and slammed the window on me. This is my go-to Starbucks near work, so on days I feel like treating myself or trying to beat a Starbucks app challenge I come to this location and am never disappointed. While this location has a drive-thru, I have yet to use it. I typically order ahead on the app, and on times where I've waited on line, I've never waited more than 5 minutes despite having 6 people ahead of me. I rarely go to Starbucks (I'm more into make it yourself at 7-11 where I can have control of how much stuff goes into my coffee!) so I wasn't quick with my order and no one tore off my head or was rude.
