Good Lord! How difficult is it to get a coffee in this town after 2pm?!? So we ended up at Starbucks. They don't serve blonde roast after the morning so in order to get it they either do a pour over or you have to order an Americano. Ok give me that. Keep in mind an Americano is espresso with hot water added. For a grande and a venti they wanted $10. What??? You want $10 for 2cups of coffee? I'm like, I'm not paying that. So the manager comes over and charges us for regular coffee. It still cost almost $7. Then my friend wanted a cold latte with almond milk, grande. So coffee with almond milk in plain talk. $6.05. Holy crap! No ponder we were the only ones there. Insane When the money runs out on my app, so does my time with Starbucks. The prices are out of control. I went to the Cape for the day before I left I stopped at this location to get the BOGO offer. The 1st was the Caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino which was good but if the lid would have stayed on it would have been great. However the mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino was completely awful. It tasted like coffee or espresso grinds. lf I hadn't been off cape already I would've returned the drink as it was not drinkable. By far the absolute WORST Starbucks I've ever been to. I am a regular customer. I do go out of my way to go to a different Starbucks. No easy feat, since the closest one is at least 25 minutes from this one. However, the customer service here is absolutely atrocious and the management, and #Starbucks should absolutely care. I say this knowing that the management does not care. If they did they would've done something about it by now. Today was quite honestly the last straw for me. I placed my order at 10:45 did not get it until 11:08. This was AFTER watching several walk-ins whom I watched walk in, order much more complicated drinks, (than my tea) order food, and walk out with their orders. I dared ask for my drink, I was made to feel like a piece of crap and told it's only been 11 minutes. In that 11 minutes the person that walked in after I had already been waiting, received her hot food, and her Matcha. However my cup, had been sitting there waiting for them to pour tea into a cup and add ice. Also, because I dared to ask for my drink after he finished it, he made two other drinks, before he called my name. This is why this store is absolutely the worst Starbucks in the country. When I say I've been to a lot of stores, I've driven down the East Coast six different times over the last three years, and I stop at Starbucks exclusively. This place is a joke. Went there today and very disappointed. The trash was overflowing in wastebasket empty wrappers on the coffee tables. A couple came in after us and made a comment when they went to throw something away " Don't they empty the trash" My coffee was sitting on the counter. This Bux location is the bomb. Every barista I've seen here is always working so hard while maintaining a smile on their face. I know how stressful it can be when they're busy + dealing with entitled people, yet they always remain cool, calm, & collected. They remember me by name and are always courteous with all customers, even the not so pleasant ones. Clearly, they have great management. Drinks are always made perfectly, and if not, they're more than happy to make it right. My favorite Starbucks on Cape (it's a DD world here, though) and I always have a pleasant experience here. read more

Just opened. Excellent! Staff very friendly. My drink was perfect. Place was spotless.

Fast service. The best coffee. Quite an array of goodies and pastries. You can get k cups or coffee by the pound. Loved their cake pops (a little bit of cake on a pop) just enough to quell your sweet tooth. In the days of covid this is important, the bathrooms are always spotless. Cudos to Starbucks! read more

SUCH LITTLE FAITH.. Went to this location on 10/29/2017. We were waited on by a man named Faith (according to his apron). He proceeded to debate my girlfriend on her coffee selection. As much as I/we appreciated his concern about her sugar intake, she is not diabetic. We also found that " Fath's" lack of knowledge while debating her choice of beverage showed his lack of the current Starbucks menu. While I will admit the overpriced coffee is one of our guilty pleasures, the unsolicited personal opinon/lack of menu knowledge was VERY unwanted and NOT appreciated. The side waiting area was over run with sloppily stacked boxes, the seating stools had been removed thus forcing us to stand. I met a client here for a meeting. It was packed thanks to School Vacation. Tables were dirty. I got in line and ordered a veggie wrap. The girl told me they were pre made but really good. Seems a little weird to give 5 stars to a Starbucks, but I really liked this location! It's located right next to the Trader Joe's and Christmas Tree shop in that wonderful shopping destination that is this little stretch of Iyannough Road in Hyannis. I was psyched that when I asked if they could make me a Mexican Chili Mocha they gladly obliged, even though it's no longer on the menu. I also loved the seating in this location. There's plenty of small tables, including some cute window tables. They had a super cute little Christmas tree decorated with seashell lights which was just so cute and Cape Cod-y. Also, the bathroom was super clean and featured not one but TWO hooks to hang your coat and purse. I also liked that the atmosphere was very chill- not crowded like so many Starbucks closer to Boston. I like how the seating is spaced well away from the ordering area. read more

I love trying Starbucks whenever in a new place. This one is fairly new which should make it nice however the first time walking in it did not smell like coffee. It had a strange smell that filled the entire store. I thought this maybe was an issue that day with the trash. The next day it was the same way. The store simply smells bad. Not sure why but I have been here three times on vacation and something is wrong. That being said, I only tried their standard dark roasts which were Sumatra and one other standard coffee of the days. The coffee is as all Starbucks great. This is a terrible Starbucks. They cannot even put a blueberry scone in a bag and hand it to me at the counter. I have to wait for eight things to be warmed before i get my scone! Not a coffee fan but have to weigh in that the employees are nice, the place is clean and they carry a large variety of full bean, ground, Keurig and Verismo coffee options for sale. This place has a summer line that reaches the door. It's summer, I get it and you're going to wait but that's ok with me. If you're in a rush maybe you should not be on the cape in the summer. Very nice counter help, bustling drink maker (they call them barista's now, right?) and an eclectic mix of summer and year round folks. Makes for great people viewing. read more

All around a fantastic group of baristas. Warm, inviting, kind, and knowledgable in regards to the products they are selling. Everyone should have the barista suggest a drink to you at least once. They can concoct some delicious drinks. The store is clean, including the bathroom. It has a diaper changing table that most stores don't have (for whatever reason). It's not too loud, not too quiet. A variety of chairs to comfort every guests. Highly recommend! read more

I do wish it had a drive thru, but I used mobile order & my order was waiting for me 5 min later, along with about 5 others. First time I've used that function without a problem. Probably one of the worst starbucks locations. The parking lot is horrendous. Because it is in the same shopping area as Trader Joe's there is a constant flow of traffic and high demand for parking spots. Each spot is too small and the lane in center for driving is incredibly narrow. I would say don't come at a busy time but every time is busy at Starbucks so rethink your decision!!!! After my recent review, Starbucks got in touch with me to see how they could improve my customer experience. I give them major kudos for that. Apparently, there have been major issues with the mobile app that have necessitated it being shut off on occasion in order to speed things up in-store. I'm glad that they are making efforts to get the customer experience back on track and there are, as I said before, some amazing new people like Ava, Chloe and Jamie who are always wonderful and 100% on their game. The comments are still applicable, but the fact that they care enough to reach out personally points to the strength of the local management team and its commitment to customer service. And of course there are no duds anywhere, merely the occasional partner who is barristically challenged! So I am happy to upgrade the star review and eagerly look forward to the leg on the easy chair at the front being repaired in celebration. PS. In the interests of full disclosure I can safely state that no one in Starbucks asked me to rewrite it, nor did I receive one of those nice $4 vouchers they used to give out when things go wrong! read more

9:15AM, July 17. Went to put milk in my hot coffee. After removing the lid and pouring in the milk, I noticed an earwig swimming in the coffee. About an inch long, dark brown, legs, long pincers. You know, an earwig. I was grossed out, but decided to just be normal and take the coffee to the barista and ask for a new one. Having worked in restaurants for years, I know that it is common courtesy to discreetly(!) bring complaints/concerns to staff attention, rather than make a scene or alarm any other customers. The coffee was filled to the brim and the earwig swimming in circles on the top. Rather than carefully walk with a full coffee (complete with earwig) to the barista, I decided to just pour it out and bring the remainder to the counter (again, out of courtesy and respect for store and other customers). After telling barista what happened, she looked at me skeptically and said "Okayyy.... so you want a new one?" Seriously? Yes, I want a new one. No apology. Just skepticism. After getting the new coffee, the same barista looks at me and says "just so you know, it was probably just coffee grounds" in a super condescending manner. Speechless. I just looked at her and said "no, it was an earwig. It was large and had pincers." I know the difference between large insects and coffee grounds. I have no problem with coffee grounds in my coffee. Lesson learned. Next time (like I would come back here), I will not dispose of the insect and make sure I draw attention to it, so as not to be met with distrust and exasperation from staff. So, dear barista... Please re-read your "Barista Promise". Also, check coffee lids for insects. This is likely where the bug was hiding, as I doubt it could in scalding hot coffee for that long. Had you dealt with this issue professionally and respectfully, I wouldn't need to complain. read more

Usually Starbucks has exceptional customer service, but this store is just not up to par. They are CONSTANTLY out of basic items (plain black tea bags, seasonal drinks, proper iced cup tops) and since the transition to Teavana, it [the tea situation] has only gotten worse. No more regular chai? Seriously? The baked goods case often has flies in it and the baked goods themselves are often soggy or stale, to the point I have stopped buying them... Yet the prices keep going up! (okay, that one is universal for Starbucks) Oh yeah and the "Free" Wi-Fi kicks you off after one hour. read more
