Great Awakening is a hidden gem in my opinion. Creative flavors that are executed at a high level. The mocha had deep coffee/cherry notes that paired well with the sweet richness of the chocolate, add in the creamy foam from milk of your choice and this was one of the better Mochas I've ever had. Staff were friendly and happy to recommend drinks for those on the fence of what to order. Coffee was brought straight to our table since we were not taking the drink to go. The space was warm and inviting. A couple of ottomans, a few tables, and some bar seats. Looked like there were puzzles/games for patrons to use. Ample parking outside. read more

Such a lovely place! The coffees were really great and flavorful without being too sweet. The decor inside was really cool and also had games available. Everything was clean and peaceful. The pastries looked great as well but we didn't get any. The staff were all kind and brought the drinks to our table. Bonus points on the bathroom having a full changing station set up and supplies (+ women needs) if needed. Really wholesome touch. read more

We found this place through Yelp today for the first time, even though we've been living on Cape Cod for 26 years. Just looking for a new good cup of coffee while getting a radiator fixed here in Hyannis. It is a jewel of a place in an unsuspecting location in a little strip mall off of the main highway. Delicious foods, wonderful coffees, extremely friendly staff, nice warm vibe in the long rectangular room. As a baby boomer I still must sigh at the price of going out for coffee these days and a mocha here is seven bucks. A latte, six. Higher than most places, but they have a display on the counter with small items for sale to aid in Ukraine relief, so I love and respect that. Worth a visit if you're anywhere close. read more

Let me start by saying, the coffee itself was actually pretty good and the staff were nice. That being said, it seemed very slow... there weren't clear lists of flavors or anything posted so you had to wait to get up to the counter to find out the options. They have a self-service "kiosk" / tablet, but it's right in front of the cashier... so as I was scrolling through to try to look at options... she was trying to take my order and ask me what I wanted (starting to try to narrow down options with questions... instead of offering the options or a moment to scroll through the menu). The "vibe" is more so the reason I don't really plan on going back. Probably loved by many; just not for me! read more

They have delicious coffee!! All combinations are available. Also had a very good bagel and cream cheese and yogurt and partner loved his apple pastry. Ambiance is most pleasant and relaxing with great decorations and color scheme. Service is very accommodating, cordial and friendly. Wonderful coffee, fresh pastries! The ambiance is so nice, you can tell that the owners put in a lot of thought and love. Small tables and bar style seating near the windows, a fireplace, book shelves, and many nice touches.
