This is a review from my 7 year old son: Their croissants are so good. There's almost nothing that could taste better. The only thing that made me say 4 stars is that sometimes they don't listen to me and either give it to me too hot (when I don't ask for it to be warmed up) or too cold. read more

The Yelp 2-star meh (could've been better)? You know that one? Place this Starbucks pic right next to the star's definition. Starbucks has delivered good coffee franchise product. With a little energy and some positive barista vibes, it can easily be a 3-star experience. Not so here. 2 stars. Meh. read more

This location gets the drinks right each time. It's hot and tastes good. Love the blueBerry muffins. Used to be all over the place on if there were blueberries or not. Lately it's been consistent. read more

It took forever waiting in the driveway line for my drink and when I finally got it, it was made wrong. I did not have the time to wait for them to remake it. Wasted time and 7$ down the drain. Really upsetting. Get it together. read more

The employees here are always nice and conversational. It was a rainy day, when I walked in to use the washroom, and charge my across the street. I like the decor inside, the maps of America, southeast asia, and africa detail the coffees of the world. read more

The staff is terrible I was standing there for at least 5 minutes while standing and laughing and then they were giving me the death stare overall terrible staff and service read more

The customer service is awful. I walked in and a Nice lady had been waiting 10 minutes for her mobile order, (a simple tea) she had arrived before i did and my order was given to me before hers, and it was not busy. I also asked about the hours becuse i live in the area, and was curious about the infrequent closing times and one of the baristas became hostile and attempted to be confrontational with me, who ever is running the ship here needs to be replaced. Youre better off Spending your Money where they appreciate your Time and Business. Absolutley Awful. read more

Ordered the most simplest drink ever. Grande black coffee with no room Wanted to start my day visiting my father at the hospital. But ruined my morning when I got a mouth full of coffee grinds. Congratulations on pouring me the worst cup of coffee I have ever had. The feeling of sandpaper going down my throat was a great start of the day. read more

Seriously ? You call having hours from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm a business ? Not only that but you close half hour early ? If you want to be closed then stay closed I honestly wouldn't mind that . read more

Roberto and Liz are the best!! They know my drink order as soon as I pull up to the drive thru. This is my home Starbucks due to not only great customer service but they make my drink just the way I like it. I'm on my way right now lol. read more

Constantly out of items. Supply chain and inventory issues galore. Even when I try to go early. Can't stay open, frequently closed.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart...and the bottom of my cup...for letting me work here for hours! It was a snowy day. I just needed to get out of my house to find a place to wrap up a particular project I was working on. Here's what's great about this particular Starbucks - it's filled with other people in my exact same situation. Thankfully it wasn't too crowded the day I stopped in. A couple of men in a business meeting in the corner. A web programmer on my left side. Someone studying to my right. The best part? No one made me feel guilty for taking up a table for many hours. I just made sure to keep buying coffee and munchies along the way, and I was also willing to give up my seat if it got super crowded. It didn't. Great service, and some of the best around. The sweetest caring staff that takes great amounts of pride in serving customers. Come here if you're looking for an ideal work environment away from home. Here it's about getting the job done and drinking lots of coffee along the way. read more

There's not much about this place I can say that you haven't already read in a dozen other reviews for pick a Starbucks anywhere. This place is unique in that it's one of a few in the area right off the highway and it's not inside a large chain store like a Target. I would normally give a Starbucks a 4-5 star rating since they're all mostly the same but I had to give this one a 2 star rating because they wouldn't let me use the bathroom. During the entirety of the pandemic there has not been one Starbucks I've visited that although the dining area is closed I couldn't stop to pee. If I am ever back this way I might raise my star rating but for now they get 2 stars. My drink was ready for me when I arrived no problem, I was told to go elsewhere to pee. That's just bad business. read more

It's annoying that the restroom is closed when you can still walk in to pick up your drinks. More importantly, how do you mess up hot chocolate? Ordered two today and they were horrible. Only positive thing I can say about the location is it seemed clean enough.. but I mean, people aren't allowed to sit at the tables anymore so cleanliness isn't too difficult to accomplish with zero customers in the store. I won't be returning to this location personally. Those hot chocolates were GROSS. read more

My daughter and I would pop through this drive-thru from time to time, and a Barista named "Bean" just puts a smile on our faces! She is so friendly. Truly... just a kind-hearted woman, I can tell. Thank you for making our Starbucks experience that much better. Thank you, Bean! read more

These are the nicest Starbucks employees who have ever existed. They are so peppy and sweet. That intensity can't be faked - I think they're the real deal. Combine that with a super-easy location right off the highway, and you have a winner! read more

Inside is locked and I am being made to go thru drive thru. Why. Written sign on window employees rude. What happened to America

Great place to get some work done. Plenty of outlets on the seating area across from the cash register. The customer service here is great, and there is one employee who is notably maybe louder than most but also super friendly. Fairly quiet otherwise. read more

This Starbucks has a drive thru. That is its only saving grace. Other than that, they routinely screw up mobile orders (it's already happened to me twice this week) and seem genuinely annoyed when you ask for them to make the drink you actually ordered. read more

Great news!!! This location is back on track!!! They seem fully staffed! The staff seems quite happy. The orders, mobile and in person, are correct. They are way more efficient than they have been the previous months. They don't seem to be running out of things like before. Some of the old staff has come back. Starting to feel like home again! Yay! I have missed you Starbucks at Skokie 41 in Highland Park! read more

This Starbucks is just brutal. I have gotten the wrong drink 3 times in the past weeks. It's on my way to work but I'm done with this location. read more

This is clearly the Starbucks I choose to go to. The staff is outgoing and friendly. They make you feel like you are welcome from the moment you walk through the door. The location has lots of space. They have extended hours and close at 11pm, 10pm on Sundays. My kids love Starbucks but this location is a real treat and their managers run extremely well!!! read more

Drive up or stay here, Awful for the Starbucks mobile ordering app. Mobile orders seem to get the lowest priority, expect over a 10 minute wait from order. Longer then just walking in to order or going to the drive up. Otherwise a nice Starbucks, just prioritizes drive up above all other orders. read more

Wow, the people who work at this Starbucks location are really stressed out!! I have to admit that I don't frequent SB often, but the super cold day made me want something hot to drink while I was passing by on 41. Drinks were good but staff was unfriendly, abrupt, negative and on the edge. Drinks: 3.5 stars; Customer service: 1 star. Please SB staff, try to relax and treat your customers more kindly!! read more

This is my favorite Starbucks. I frequent this location usually twice a day... Sometimes three times if it has been a rough coffee needed day. Seriously they employees here are more than amazing. They make suggestions that I have fallen in love with... Based on my usual orders or things Ive asked about. Seriously the staff at this location make it amazing! read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Highland Park, Illinois

Just a short lesson on what a refill is at Starbucks:  I think this is valuable information for many people! If you order a  Starbucks tall latte, and then want Pike Place Roast as a refill, the answer is "yes."  I should clarify, the answer is "yes" only if you have stayed inside the store.  Once you leave the store, when you return, you will be paying full price for your beverage again.  The refill price is available only for same store visits.  The refill only becomes free if you are paying for your beverage with a registered Starbucks Card, at the green level of benefits.  And there is no refill price for any handcrafted beverages. Iced tea, iced coffee, and hot brewed coffee all have a refill price available to them.  In other words, if I drink a grande Frappuccino, stay in the store, and want grande iced passion tea as a refill, then I should be charged the refill price for the passion tea, not the the full price of the iced passion tea.  However, there is no way to order a Frappuccino as a refill. I bring this up because I noticed (thanks to a comment in another blog article!) that Starbucks has finally updated their website to truly clarify the refill policy.  This had been in an area, where in the past, the website had had ambiguous language.  Thank you Starbucks for this!  Here's the official Starbucks page on the refill benefit: http://customerservice.starbucks.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1882/session/L3RpbWUvMTQ1MzMyMDc2OC9zaWQvQVo4aEgqR20%3D In previous articles, I have talked about the theories behind the refill policy.  As many people know, iced coffee, iced tea, and brewed coffee are beverages that are low cost to the business.  Furthermore, those who stay inside the store are more likely to linger and purchase food or other items as well.  Also, it makes no sense to tell customers, you must only purchase the lowest cost beverages to be able to receive the refill price.  In other words, there's no logic to saying that a customer who spends a premium for a handcrafted drink may not receive a refill because he or she didn't start out with a cheaper beverage.  And of course, there is never a refill price for drive-thru customers. And you really do have to stay in the store to get a refill.  If you have left the store, and you return later in the day with your cup, the baristas should tell you there is no refill price available. Hope that my readers find this helpful! read more

I've been going to Starbucks for quite a while and the staff is always really nice and professional!! May I should make it worth the extra couple pennies read more

I didn't find the service welcoming, just basic. The baristas looked stressed, and when my friend asked for a plate it was just thrown on the counter, this deter me from asking for a plate myself. The spices area was untidy and the vanilla shaker's top was loosely on. This is a very accessible location so I hope it improves. read more

An above-averagely friendly Starbucks...that is open until 11pm! 11pm! Nothing around here is open that late, so this is awesome for people who like or need to work at night. Please never change! Medium-sized, bright space with ample plugs and a variety of seating. Popular with high schoolers studying in the evenings -- you will know if a big test is coming up at school...but hey, when was the last time you reviewed material from AP Bio? read more

A Starbucks is a Starbucks? Right? Not so. Really happy this location opened with a drive thru option off of 41. The main reason for my 5 star review is Joy - she is by far the friendliest and happiest Barista I've ever encountered and that is saying a lot as I am a loyal Starbucks customer. She goes above and beyond. read more

I come here every day and delighted by the drive thru staff. Today on the other hand I was not happy with the attitude and pure disgust this barista had for me and or others. The staff is usually very pleasant but again this one just didn't feel the need to be pleasant just mocking like. I hate to put a negative remark on this Starbucks but if I'm paying for an expensive cup of coffee, a little more customer service friendliness would be helpful. read more

Nancy and the rest of the crew are outstanding! Great service!

Like many people, I like to come to Starbucks for some coffee, peace and quiet while I work. There is a lady who works at this location who is so loud and obnoxious. Everything is sweetie this and my love that. Several people walked out because of this loudmouth If you are coming in to grab coffee or going through the drive thru you may have a better experience. If you want to study, work, or relax make sure it's her day off! I don't have to name names. You will know who she is as soon as you hear her! read more

This location is so inconsistent. I'm here literally everyday order the same coffee everyday and they screw it up all the time. I once ordered a sandwich because I was in a rush and bit into a FROZEN egg sandwich. I'm gagging as I type this. So disgusting. I call and the response I get is "oh I believe it that toaster never works" WHAT?! so they give me a credit fine. Manager was average in customer service. Wasn't very apologetic. Then they must have hired a new person I go up to payment and she take the credit card reader and no exaggeration here SHOVES IT IN MY FACE And tells me to do it myself and turns around to socialize with her coworkers on how she couldn't take her break when she wanted too. Every time I saw her after that she would take the reader and hand it to me instead of taking my card and doing it herself... since when is it okay to make paying customers do your job?! Today a coworker goes to get our coffee order they screw it up because again too busy socializing and they won't fix the order. So I went elsewhere. I spend $140 plus a month at this location and I don't think I'll ever come back. Too many employees who just blatantly don't care. read more
