I love this Starbucks location! The employees are friendly and the parking lot allows for easy in and out. There is plenty of parking and the location is very convenient. I order on the app and my order has always been ready at the stated time, and 100% correct. This is my regular 5 am stop when I am working in the area. read more

Do Not Listen!!! 3rd trip in a row where the ball was dropped. This time the person had to remake my drink because they gave me the wrong drink, one girl complained in the back ground while I waited in the drive through and in return my I received a Frappuccino with mostly whipped cream and ice blended throughout. Likely done on purpose!!!! I wonder what else they are doing to people's drinks. Management needs to get a handle on this. They are playing with customers money and yours. Not all bad though. The young lady at the window was very nice and I appreciated her kindness. read more

The employees are very nice and happy to help you Starbucks taster was wonderful as always and they're clinginess is eight out of 10

I stopped here this New Year's day with a group of six people. The workers had a good attitude for it being a holiday. This location is close enough to Chicago to make it a convenient stop while entering or existing, but far enough where parking and driving is easy. I ordered a grande oat milk latte and the barista did ask to clarify if i wanted my latte hot or iced which I've never had a barista not just assume before which was great. I also got mushroom and kale egg bites, which didn't come with a fork and there weren't any available at the condiment start. While waiting for my drink I got to enjoy a local art display they set up in a corner. The food and drinks came extremely out of order and the music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. The bathroom light is motion censored and shut off two times while i used it and sink was not clean. The pick up station was messy with old drinks and it got confusing when new orders were set down. Overall, it was good to grab a cup of joe and to-go brunch at, but not a great meeting or work environment. read more

Starbucks - Had to eat in the car - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hammond, Indiana

Part of our Covid trip to Minneapolis. In-side staff was working hard. Ten cars in drive-thru and ten customers like us inside. Everyone was mask conscientious. That made us feel good. Bathrooms were clean thanks for that. read more

Not a good experience here. We waited 30 minutes while they filled everyone else's order. About 5 orders came in after us and were filled before they would even address me. They said they were still working on ours. They then gave us the wrong drinks and lied about making them with almond milk when I asked to verify. I am lactose intolerant and that made me sick for my drive home. read more

These are all custom orders that I thought would be fun and delicious and they definitely were. The barista did an amazing job and was tipped handsomely as a result. They work pretty fast and the lady who took my order was very nice and patient with my order which I appreciated and even made sure to ask if she was getting it correct. I'm sad there was no strawberry purée as this is the 3rd Starbucks in the Chicago-Indiana vicinity I've been too with no strawberry purée. Maybe no one here likes it enough haha read more

Starbucks - a woman holding two cups of drinks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hammond, Indiana

They be packing the drinks with ice . This was 2 sips in man what the fuck they act like they paying for the shit to make them

Walked in the floors were filthy. The cashier was sitting down taking a break in front of the house where the customer sits. No greetings, from the employee although there were five of them behind the counter. When the 2nd Barista asked for our order, still no greeting of Welcome to Starbucks!!! Will definitely not be returning to this location read more

Stopped at this location to work for an hour and finally get a decent cup of coffee after working at a casinos 15 miles from here that has lousy offerings. "We are out of cold brew" Ugh So I sit down to work and the WiFi is so slow that basic pages do not load #LaborDayWorkFail read more

CAFFEINATED PLANNING I needed to get out of Chicago and to Indy before the traffic in the city started which meant I didn't have time to make breakfast or coffee at home. I checked my maps and searched for a Starbucks outside of Chicago along the highway. This location showed up on the map plus I saw they had a drive thru too. The drive thru was going to be important because it was pouring rain. Now you might ask why was I searching for a Starbucks. I don't eat at McDonalds anymore and last time I ate fast food they had the best breakfast food over any other fast food place. About a year ago my coworker ordered Starbucks breakfast sandwiches in Omaha and I honestly was surprised at how good they were. While in the drive thru I ordered the English muffin with egg whites and turkey bacon as well as the mozzarella and tomato focaccia sandwich. These two sandwiches are really good. I then went to order my favorite Starbucks item the tiny can of the double shot of espresso. The girl on the speaker said the scariest thing ever, "I'm sorry we don't carry that item at this location!" I was shocked and did tell her I was upset. She then tried to sell me a mocha which is loaded full of sugar. I nicely declined her mocha offer even though I use to order that drink for over a decade. It was my go to at one time. I just like the little espresso cans because I know what I'm getting based off of the nutritional label. I really needed some caffeine to make my drive. I had 3 hours of driving in the pouring rain ahead of me. I was in a dilemma because I really don't like the burnt roast taste of the original Starbucks coffee. Then I saw the blonde roast as a choice and I went with a Blonde Venti with some cream. I must admit that I actually like the blonde roast because it doesn't taste burnt. I need to remember this because it will keep me stopping at Starbucks. This place was a perfect pit stop for me while leaving Chicago and heading to Indy. I really wish they had my cans of espresso. That would truly make my day. In fact, this is the first Starbucks I've ever encountered that doesn't have this item stocked. I hope the manager here reads this review and adds them into the inventory because I might be a regular here on road trips. read more

I had a very good experience tonight. The lady was so nice and pleasant. She was full of smiles and not as stuffy and filled with fake smiles and creepily robotic as most other employees I've encountered. Dominick we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of minutes in the drive through! We will get my husband to eat some eggs!!! I would say Starbucks take notes! This young lady will be, if she isn't already, a star manager! Kudos. I'll definitely be back. She asked me if I had ever tried the egg bites I decided to try. I laughed and said no. She informed me of what both would taste like. Lol. They were good. The prices are as they usually are. The location was excellent. The parking lot was well lit. It's very clean and tidy. Overall I would totally recommend! read more

The staff were extremely rude. I came in to return a gift that I had received, which was a Starbucks cup. When I went to the counter to return it, the woman was extremely rude from the beginning. I told her that I wanted to return the cup, and she asked for the receipt, so I gave her the gift receipt. She told me rudely that she couldn't do anything with it and asked if I had the original receipt. Clearly, it was a gift so I did not have the original. I asked for store credit, and she went on about how she can't give me cash back, asking what do I even want. When I asked again for store credit, she was rude again, saying "she would try, but the system might not let her." She seemed extremely exasperated throughout the entire encounter and it felt like she just did not want to help or be interacting with me at all. When she got the store credit to go through, I also only received half of its original price, even though I know that full price was paid for the item. When I asked about it, she told me there was nothing she could do and did not express any kind of apology at all. I just decided to walk away with the 50% as it wasn't worth my time. I truly do understand how frustrating it can be to deal with customers, especially when it's busy, but I've worked in customer service and the food industry, and I have never been so rude to someone, especially when that person was nothing but kind to me. I am extremely upset from this, and I will not be returning to this location. Of all the Starbucks I have been to, and I have been to many, this was by far the worst customer service I've received. Additionally, I had mobile ordered a drink beforehand, and had to wait over 30 minutes for it. When I received the drink, it was awful. I got a latte, and it was so pale and tasted like milk. I'm certain that they didn't add any espresso because there wasn't even a hint of coffee in it. I drink A LOT of coffee from Starbucks and dunkin and local coffee places, so I'm positive that there wasn't any espresso, or if there was, it was not the standard amount. If you're considering going here, I recommend the Schererville location instead. They are much nicer with faster service. read more

Not consistent. I frequent this drive thru, a lot of times with large orders for work. And you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes the order is completely wrong, sometimes the drinks do not taste like they're supposed to, sometimes the employees are amazing and friendly and sometimes I feel like I'm inconveniencing them with my order. I ordered the BOGO macchiato and received two very different tasting drinks. This location is convenient because of where I work but that's the only positive thing about this location. --I had to knock it down to one star. I took my drink back for a remake because it was so gross. I will literally drink coffee in any form and it was so bad I couldn't do it. I went with a Caramel Macchiato this time. They didn't make my remake correctly. What is wrong with this location. read more

They make really great drinks here- my strawberry refresher is really delicious. Sometimes they don't get it quite right though but it's never bad. I think they get confused because I order extra strawberry sometimes they put extra syrup which i love but other times they just put the strawberries. One thing I will say is that when I come in the morning I mobile order and it's like 7:30 in the morning and there is this one girl that just like yells wayyyyy to enthusiastically over the speaker. Sometimes her voice is just a shock for the system. I get friendliness but it's a little much. Also one time when I said I had a mobile order she goes "One second let me pee" like what?? My friends and me tried so hard not to laugh because we think she meant peek but it did not come out right. I do think sometimes their mobile orders are delayed. Besides this it's really nice place especially to do work on the inside. I just have small issues with the drive through and mobile ordering. read more

Have you ever been served a cold coffee? Ordered a blonde roast, they didn't have any so they made an americano, hot water and espresso, pretty simple you would think. This Starbucks is the worst one I've ever been to. Workers are extremely rude. I usually don't go to this location because it's out of my way, but stopped there to pick up a gift card, gift and a drink before hitting the highway. The guy at the registered had no idea what a gift receipt was and argued with me that my receipt was the gift receipt. Finally after about 5 minutes of going back and forth he asked for help and she showed him how to print a gift receipt....did it really have to be that hard dude?!? Don't get me started on the gift card I needed. I was planning to get a drink, but before becoming angry and rude myself I decided to leave the gift card and not get a drink. Very disappointed in this location. They haven't been open that long...hope it gets better before they decide to close it permanently. read more

Easy highway access. Lots of surrounding parking. There is a drive thru option. The staff were very friendly. Not much options for collectibles. read more

First of all, if they are going to close the lobby part of the store, you think they would put a sign on the door stating that secondly, I put in a mobile order because I swing by on my way to work to pick it up in the lobby, not to sit in a drive-through that is wrapped around the building if I really wanted to wait that long, I would wait till I get here to put my order in. I would cancel my order but because I use some of my stars for part of the order, those do not get refunded back to me neither does my money if you do not pick up your order so now I am sitting in drive-through for 15 to 20 minutes going to be late for work all because they do not want to open up the lobby. I mean they can easily just put a note on the door saying either the lobby is closed so I don't have to park. Walk around just to find the doors locked. Or they could at least have the lobby open for mobile pick up only would be an idea also. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks I have EVER seen. They've messed up my order every time. I know it's a new location but GET IT TOGETHER!!!

The mayor is so proud of getting this place into Hammond. What a joke! I mean, I could go here, pay close to three bucks for an awful tasting large coffee and pay extra for flavored syrups, or I could go to one of 4 Speedway convenience stores in Hammond, get a delicious 20 ounce hot beverage for a buck (Many different coffees, mochas, and cappuccinos to choose from for that same buck and no charge for syrups and other flavorings) and get every 7th cup free. Pastries and other food items are better and a better value at Speedway, too. Starbucks and the mayor are both jokes. read more

I came here today in the drive thru ordered my drink , there was only two cars ahead of me. I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and when I got to the window. I asked "why is it so slow today." The lady replied " were short staffed" with an attitude. I proceeded saying it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. She blatantly ignored me. I politely told her to give me my money back and drove off. That was rude. You don't waste people time like that and have no regards. read more

The poor staff looked to be overwhelmed by the line of cars and people, and seemed to struggle to keep up. It looked as if they were a person short, as they had only one person on the bar, while the two on the drive-thru window and main cashier could only step away for a few seconds to grab something. Despite the bottleneck, they did eventually get our drinks out, and they were done well. read more
