Ask for light ice and this is what you get.

This location housed to be great. The manager Rebecca was the best and I never had a wrong order under her supervision. In the last 2 months I've had 2 wrong orders and if you ask for light ice this what you get. Need to hit a different Starbucks from now on.

More than half of my coffee was all ice, absolutely ridiculous. Didn't even sip my coffee and this is how much was left when I took out all the ice

Got a chance to try their almond croissant this morning! It was pretty good. A little on the pricey side but I can deal with that lol. I'm a huge almond croissant fan. Although Panera's "bear claw" isn't bad, it lacks the nice almond filling taste that Starbucks has.

I should have read the reviews before going here... . It was so close to the gym that I just thought about convenience. The drive thru line was super long and it took forever to even order. They were not cranking the drinks out like they should on a Saturday morning. The car in front me had serious issues with their orders. They exchanged hands of items with the worker probably like 10 times in a 5 min period. I won't be back unless I really really need my fix. Target or jewel might even be a better option...

    Plenty of tall chairs

We are from the great state of Washington, you know, the place that invented coffee. While here for the weekend for a wedding, we needed to find some real coffee, which means "where is the nearest Starbucks?" This location was near our hotel, but a "real Starbucks" not one that is located in some store. Easy to find and plenty of parking. At the cashier, I asked if they had a clover. The response: "what's that?" Oh dear, Dorothy, we ain't in Kansas. We ordered the two drinks we have on most days, usually 365 times a year. Nonfat caramel macchiato and whole milk vanilla lattes. Looked around for a place to sit. There are a lot of those tall chairs, the ones that we all grew out of as babies, a bunch of tables, but also five big, sink-in, go-to-sleep type chairs. Five? Does the manager have the sixth one in her apartment? Now for the coffee. This is knock-your-socks-off coffee! We maybe invented it, but this location put the flavor of espresso back in those lattes. Maybe this is how Chicagoans like their coffee.

Horrible service. The people working there were rude to not only myself but multiple other customers in the store.

S..l..o..w. I could have written this, did my taxes and planned my funeral while I died in drive thru line. That's all.

Thankfully, it was only 10 minutes away, so my mom and I hopped in the car to try it out. Drip and Culture is located in the back of Supermercado Gonzalez. It's not rare for Mexican grocery stores in the area to sell hot food in the back of the store, but it was very unique to find this super cute, black-owned coffee shop located right in the back. After looking over the menu, I decided on the Ube Matcha and my mom chose the Banana Rum Caramel Latte! Both drinks were a 10/10!!! My drink had an Ube horchata base, which tasted like the perfect mix of vanilla and cinnamon. It was absolutely amazing and paired perfectly with the matcha!!! My mom thoroughly enjoyed her latte as well! Next time I'm in town, Drip and Culture will be my first stop. The shop has a 90s theme with jerseys on the wall and VHS tapes, which gives such a nostalgic vibe. I can't wait to return!!!

Ube pancake with the ube butter and coconut jelly was made just right. The Galbi topsilog was good. Very rich marinade, not what I like, but on this plate with the garlic rice it works. Customer service was very good, the guy behind the counter saw us looking at the menu and asked if we'd like to hear about the specials... and they checked on us although at the table even though it felt more like a self serve style diner. Came on a Thursday after lunch and it wasn't too busy. Ordered the Tocilog - which is sweet pork with a side of garlic fried rice, and an egg cooked any way you like. Also came with a side of noodles (pancit). Since I was here, decided to order some calamansi wings to go. And of course an ube milk tea. I really enjoyed my meal. The Tocino was a little different from what I'm used to. I'm used to a slab of pork pan fried with the fat fried to a slight crunch lol. I'm also used to tocino being red in color. I guess the tocino here is a little more leaner and no artificial colors - which works for me as I'm kinda allergic to red dye. But it tasted good, very flavorful. Loved the garlic rice as well. Pancit noodles were okay - could have used a little more seasoning but I could dig it Calamansi wings were low key fire. The crisp of the wings were perfection and the meat was not tough - still nice and juicy. I would get these again. They did have other flavors available that I need to come and try as well such as adobo and salt & pepper. Servers were nice and food came out pretty fast.
