This location is super convenient for me! The drive thru situation is a little weird as it's easy to miss. There is a nice outdoor seating area (but no trash can??). This is literally the worst Starbucks I've ever been to! I placed 2 mobile orders because we are short on time! To our surprise the dining room is closed! And they will not bring the coffee out to our car! We are waiting in a line of 15 cars in the drive thru which defeats the purpose of mobile ordering!!!!!!!!!! I never have anything bad to say about this location. Or any of the locations! So far Starbucks has always been consistent with the delivery. I typically order the same things every time I come through. I will say if you plan on coming by the Starbucks on Wendover or Battleground area please give yourself some wiggle room on the time. The drive-thru is always long but that's a good thing! The drive-thru line moves pretty fast but if you are in a hurry it's best to place your order on the app so that you can go inside and pick it up. Or if you are like me and don't mind sitting in the car scrolling through your phone while you wait that is a great option too. So far, Wendover and Battleground are my favorites! SN: there are two Starbucks locations on battleground. One of them does not have a drive-through. But that location is good too! The only issue is parking when it is busy. read more

I don't go to Starbucks often and this was my first time visiting this location. The service? Immaculate! I knew I needed caffeine but wasn't entirely sure on what to get... No worries, Morah had my back! They asked me a few questions about what I like and made me the BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD! I did some homework while I was there and watched them greet every customer with a joyous attitude was very refreshing. There was a GIANT drive thru line and they were quick on their feet, juggling making drinks and interacting with customers flawlessly. The line may have been long but it was MOVING very quickly. This is one of the few times in my life I've thought, "Wow, that's the ideal employee" so it felt important for me to write this review. Love the new design! Recently, I got a few minutes to myself and I snuck away for a coffee and snack at this location. The drive thru is always crazy busy so I decided to take a few extra minutes to myself by going inside to order and sit on their patio. The patio was a bit messy - like no one had been out there straightening up and wiping down tables at all that day - but I get that everywhere is just so short staffed lately, so I didn't take it personally. Post work iced coffee here this day. I have to say I am not as passionate as others when it comes to coffee. But iced coffee is one of my favorite summer time drinks. This cup-o-Eskimo Joe was served up very light and sweet; a little too much of both, when all I asked for was a little cream and sugar. The service was polite and fast. I'd like to begin this review by stating that I was a barista for 2 years, one of those years being at Starbucks. I can tell when something slight is off. This is the ONLY location in Greensboro that has gotten my order correct 100% of the time. When you ask for light ice, they give you light ice. When you ask for coconut milk- they give you coconut milk. Yes the line is long, and slow. It's Starbucks though... what did you expect? Personally, this is one of my favorite Starbucks in GSO. The location is fairly large but still seems quite small due in large part of the amount of people that frequent the location. You can usually get in and out with ease and even stay around outside in the outdoor seating area to try and get some work done with their Wi-Fi. (If you can find a seat) The one thing I don't like is the folks that frequent this place typically speak to each other with their outdoor voices if you know what I mean. There is no way to take a business call here and actually have no background noise. (But that comes with the territory I assume.) I've been a regular here in the mornings for over a year, and the staff is friendly and quick to pour/make your drink. If you visit with any frequency, they begin remembering your order, which is convenient and quite welcoming. Apart from a select few regulars who can be a little loud (beware the bearded guy with the bluetooth earpiece), it's generally quiet, and for that reason I block out a few hours every morning to read here. The crowds are sporadic and rarely last long at all, so if it seems somewhat loud and busy at first -- give it about 10-15 minutes. Also, I don't usually get the sugary drinks, so I can't speak to how they are, but the rotating dark roasts are always my go-to because they offer such a good range of complex and interesting flavors. Today was my first visit to this particular Starbucks. The cashier was a very chipper gal, which was pleasant & works accordingly to SB's business model. I was hoping they had almond milk since that offer has been advertised recently, but not until September will it be available. Every staff member collaborated to find out when my beloved almond milk would be their commodity. I found this to be considerate & becoming of them. I ended up getting a vanilla soy latte, which I didn't enjoy, not because of the barista's work, but because my taste buds have changed. By the way, soy is inclined to cause breast cancer in women if consumed on the regular. The store's esthetic is typical, although I've seen some really dope Starbucks set-ups before. There is outdoor seating. The store doesn't have much curb appeal, but that's not too important, I suppose, since it's Starbucks--us regulars know the product well. read more

We were in town from California and stopped by this place twice. My husband ordered his usual grande vanilla latte. no bells or whistles, just a grande vanilla latte. Immediately he noticed a different flavor. Thinking it was a fluke we went again, same weird flavor. We tried another store on pisgah and hello yummy vanilla latte. They are either mixing up their milk with soy or non fat milk. I don't know. But next time we are in town, we won't be stopping there for coffee. read more

This is what I refer to as the "Earthfare Starbucks" as it's in the Earthfare parking lot. Probably the best staff in town, always friendly and accurate (and knowledgeable). Good lighting, ample space (unlike many other Starbucks), nice decor. On the downside, the air conditioning must be old because the humidity inside is horrible in the early morning.
